The neighbors were a bit close. The site was clear, had fire wood, and a nice flat spot to set up a tent. The trail to the river follows the flow of the land (lots of ups and downs.) But the bench near the river was a wonderful spot to start the day. Even spotted a mink running around one morning. Love the area and glad we got to spend a long weekend on your land.

Beautiful spot! Close to lots of recreational options. Brett and Lynn were awesome. Brought a can of gas for the ATV as we had forgotten our backup can. Will definitely consider using them / this spot again!

We had a wonderful weekend at Brett and Lynne’s site. Wooded site right on the river, with a nice path leading to a private spot to fish, to sit on the bench and read, or to hang a couple of hammocks and nap. We saw numerous deer throughout our stay. The site had a very nice fire ring, a grill grate, as well as a small Weber grill. The hosts also left us a screen tent, as they informed us ahead of time that the mosquitos were out this weekend. In addition they sprayed ahead of our arrival. We also brought sprays, and were happy that we did. We will definitely return.

Very nice place. Next to a small flowing very clear river. Quiet spot in the woods on a dead end road. Plenty of wood to cut for the fire. Lots of wildlife, seen deer and a fox. Can see the neighbors house, but did not bother us at all. Very rustic, but a great place. Would definitely stay again.

Private Hardwood forest river camp
The space is perfect for car camping and fishing! Loved our weekend there. Brett and Lynne are excellent hosts and even took me and my boys to their other property to try our hand at trout fishing. Boys loved it, and so thankful for the extra thoughtfulness. We'll definitely be back!!

We brought our pop-up and spent a rainy weekend here. The forest is beautiful and quiet, there are awesome trails and county parks nearby with some neat natural features. The host created a nice site with a fire pit w grill, benches/picnic table, Weber grill, and firewood. Brett was kind and helpful. Thank you so much!

Private Hardwood forest river camp
Wonderful, peaceful, tranquil. Such a beautiful place to spend a few days. I took my three boys there camping, and they enjoyed it thoroughly. We caught a handful of pike in the creek, and enjoyed our time around the campfire and next to the water. Wonderful hosts with great fishing tips as well!

Private Hardwood forest river camp
This is a quiet rustic wooded campsight on an empty rectangular plot with easy river access . The hosts were very accomodating, answered questions quickly and are available if need be but also not obtrusive at all. They had lots of wood already split and waiting by the fire ring which was a nice touch. The site is sufficiently flat and is at the end of a relatively narrow path. I dont drive with a trailer (in this case a 20ft travel trailer) often so it was a tad challenging getting in. Someone with more experience would not have much of a problem maneuvering into place . If you are a trailer newbie just keep it in mind. We were coming back from the UP so we just stopped over for a couple nights of quiet relaxation (aka not crammed into a state park camp ground) before heading back to civilization. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Great piece of land and awesome river location too. Beautiful, quiet and, relaxing. Would definitely go again. Hosts were great as well.
