Small homestead with wooded acreage welcomes you to beautiful Door County. Learn more about this land: A gravel road leads out back to our old hangout. It’s nothing fancy, just a quiet place to spend some time (now that we have over 20 acres this site is active again). Large fire pit in a forested area with plenty of space for tents and vehicles. A picnic table and several other large and small homemade tables are left at the site for whatever use you see fit. Firewood is not provided but any deadfall you find can be used or there are nearby wood stands selling campfire wood. We will provide a bucket of water for putting out our fire. If you need more water or have any questions feel free to contact us! Please use common sense when burning, this is a forested area. You may use the dumpster by the goat barn for your trash. No bathrooms provided. We are laid back, so if you need to come early or stay a bit late, go for it!

    A quiet spots in the woods
    Very much enjoy hipcamp spots like these... rural, quiet, the ability to be alone. Getting greeted by Goats and ducks and chickens...makes it even more enjoyable.

    If you go to the Wisconsin Peninsula; thia is a great option.. the druve alone has been breath taking.. sturgeon bay.; sister bay.. the place is very close to the tourist area; but very private.. excelent location.. fantastic host..

    Peaceful nook
    This campsite was very nice! Fire pit was big, the host had a bucket of water ready for my arrival, there were group games set-up like jenga and cornhole. I chose to place my tent where I could get the early sun to shine in and it did! The rooster will wake you if you're not a heavy sleeper, but I didn't mind! The host's animals weren't close enough to hear so it's no issue. Btw, the driveway looks like it ends before it begins because it goes downhill a bit. Would definitely recommend the stay!
