We are closed from 1 Dec through to 31 March due to High Fire Risk. Our 43-hectare property is on the edge of the Darling Scarp behind the historical Fairbridge Village. Only 1 hour south of Perth, so it is close enough for a quick weekend getaway but far enough to enjoy the silence of the bush. There are elevated campsites with views west towards Mandurah and the Peel Estuary, northwest views toward Perth City, and three dams on the property. Guests must be fully self-contained, as no toilets or showers are available. Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. Dog friendly. Campfires are permitted in designated areas with the host's approval (depending on fire restrictions). We are closed over the summer period due to increased fire risk.

Site 2 - Jacaranda

Great stay! Very windy at Jacaranda site 2 because it’s in the open, so just note that for when you book! Very close to the little dam and the dog and kids had an amazing time!

Redgum Water

I really liked Redgum Water. Rob and Sarah’s Hipcamp space is one of my favourites. We’ve been there during different seasons and camps and every time it’s been lovely. Thanks guys.

Woodlands

Beautiful spot !!! We really managed to relax. The spot is private, lots of wildlife around, and farm animals! Very friendly hosts with whom it was really easy to communicate. Thanks a lot for letting us stay on your beautiful piece of land !

Woodlands

Great spot amongst the trees. What stood out was how quiet the location is. At sunset the Kookaburras were laughing, crickets chirping and the sun melted through the trees. We’ll be back.

Ocean View

Quiet and peaceful

We really enjoyed this camp. It is very well signed and we had no problem finding our way. The last section of dirt road into the campsite required low range (we were towing a camper trailer) as it was quite loose - but shouldn’t trouble most 4wd’s, particularly if not towing. We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed the view and how quiet and peaceful it was. From the campsite you can’t see/hear and of the other people staying on the property.

Woodlands

Perfect weekend getaway

How great is this gem of a farm! Only 1 hour from home and the perfect weekend getaway. We camped at Woodlands for 2 nights, it was in a secluded sheltered location near the neighbouring farm so we got to see the cows, sheep and horses from our tent. The other campsites were far away and although you can still see them it felt like you were alone. We walked up to honeymoon and ocean view campsites and would stay there next time for the views <3 The treasure hunt was a fun little activity as well. Be careful of your dog and the grass seeds.. he was covered and we were constantly picking them out of his armpits! But even that isn't a negative. We will be back!

Auditorium

Jacaranda hill - Auditorium

The auditorium was quiet and up high and bough to give beautiful views out to coastal plain. This camp site suited my husband and I who just wanted a couple of quiet nights away to unwind. Our dog loved it too. But I wouldn’t recommend it for young children - the grass seeds were quite painful. The wildlife was amazing - the birds, the Roos and the cows were hilarious- they had lots to moo about.

Absolutely amazing property & beautiful site with stunning views. Just relax with nature. Definitely will be back. Communication with Robert & Sarah was excellent & they have the best check-in hut with a map to guide you to your particular site. Ocean View

Beautiful. Thank you for hosting. We have a 2 berth hybrid camper which we only just managed to get up the hill on our Colorado. In hindsight honeymoon would have been better for us. The haul up the hill was so worth it though. The view is superb. We had a great weekend

Site 1 - Jacaranda

Very well located close to Pinjarra and Mandurah. Site is well set out with good signs and lots of space between campers. Grass could have been a bit shorter around camping pitch to allow groundsheets to work. Very good example of how a site should be set-up, good instructions, lots of space and back to nature...

Winter Creek Hideaway

Camping in tranquility

I absolutely loved camping at Winter Creek Hideaway. My partner and I couldn’t arrive until late in the evening due to our work schedules but this wasn’t a problem for Robert & Sarah who kindly waited for us to arrive and drove us safely to the location. The instructions to the site were clear and precise before arrival. The view at the campsite was tranquil and truly beautiful! It’s in a very secluded space so you definitely feel like you’re really getting away in the great outdoors. Wildlife abound and quiet peaceful mornings are a welcome treat.

Bush Camp

What a great spot!

It was a great first HipCamp experience. All information was clear and concise. Our camp ground, Bush Camp, was a great spot with fantastic views. The kids had a great time and the hosts where amazing. Even our cat enjoyed exploring.

Great Family Camping Experience

Beautiful secluded spot for a weekend get away. Our family loved it. It got a bit wild in our tent especially on the second night with the wind that flared up. Easy to find, great area to set up for families. We only stayed 2 nights and spent evenings there as we were out exploring the region during the day.

Redgum Water

Robert & Sarah provided really clear directions, so the arrival and check-in process was great. It's a beautiful property with some amazing views. The $49 investment in some levelling ramps for our trailer was well worth it since the site is on a slight slope. We had a very good experience at red gum and would definitely recommend.

We have camped here multiple times now, and the property is beautiful, as well as the campsites which have amazing views and are awesome spots for getting away from the city and really soaking in the peacefulness. This is definitely one of my go-to spots now for a quick getaway from Perth

Winter Creek Hideaway

Legit remote camping grounds

Genuinely well hidden and remote. Awesome views and gorgeous backdrop. The lake indeed has Perch (well sized) IF you know how to catch them (don’t expect an overflowing trout farm deal but there’s certainly a few in there. Do prepare your camp for (lots of) ants in the day and mozzies as well as the odd tick. (But if you don’t want to risk any if that perhaps reconsider and just stick to a generic caravan park. But if really want to camp then go no further

Site 2 - Jacaranda

Quick getaway!

We stayed at the Jacaranda 2 site. Plenty of room. You could easily fit 4 caravans or tents. We stayed for two nights. Went for a walk around the farm Sunday morning but then the rain set in so we didn’t get a chance to have the campfire we had hoped for. All campsite well spaced so very peaceful. Just over 1 hour from home so great for a quick getaway.
