Lovely stay
Lovely stay. The property is beautiful. We camped New Year’s Eve and the people next to us were very loud but I guess it was to be expected! Hosts were very accomodating. The place is very pet friendly. We will be back!

Nambung On site Caravan Number 3
No sure the photos do justice here. Absolutely amazing place and very well managed too. Facilities are clean and nice. We stayed in an onsite caravan and were totally happy with what we got. If you're after a bit of 4wd challenge then you can take the track that takes you directly from outside the farm gate to Hansens Bay Beach area. But be prepared for sand and rocks.

Pinnacles "back stage" tour!
Take the tour to the "back gate" of Pinnacles. The Nambung National Park has impressive pinnacles but it's very limited and very busy. Nambung Station offers a tour to an area called the Painted Desert - in the sand dunes, where the pinnacles appear and disappear from different places daily. The caravan park is very well cared for, very clean. I rented an on-site caravan and it was super clean with sufficient dishes, micro, kettle, and a good bed with plenty of blankets. They do have a heat/air con unit but there wasn't need for it when I was there. Stars are AMAZING. So are the flies -- but it's a sheep and cattle station. The drive in on graded dirt road is fine -- I was in a regular car. There are tracks to bushwalk on your own. I saw the long-necked turtles swimming and some wild emu in the distance. Only footprint evidence of many kangaroo! Highly recommend this visit. Quite easy to get out to Indian Ocean Highway or Band Hwy.

It was a peaceful spot to camp. The site has clean and tidy amenities. Not too far from Perth. I especially enjoyed the tour of the Painted Dessert and untouched pinnacles.

Nambung Unpowered Campsite
Loved camping at Nambung Station but.....we chose an unpowered site along with quite a number of other people, unfortunately we had to listen to a generator from about 8pm to 8am. Two nights of interrupted sleep was more than enough. If you are camping there, find a site as far from the generator as possible.

Wonderful campsite for families
We had a lovely time at the Nambung Station Stay! The unpowered tent sites were in a field of flowers, with kids’ swings in a nearby tree overlooking the farm and sunset. The bathrooms were always kept so clean and the camp kitchen was a great place to chat with other campers over breakfast or dinner. The kids loved the animal feeding, and Brian’s tour of the farm and painted desert was well worth the extra money. 😊

Namburg Station Stay exceeded our expectations! Our powered site was green and grassy with a backdrop of grazing sheep. Shower and toilet facilities were reasonably basic but clean. The highlight of our stay was the 2 hour farm and pinnacles tour at 8.30 am. It's a must do. By the way, the two gravel roads to and from the farm had recently had the grader over them and were in excellent condition

Beautiful place to visit
Stayed here on our way to Kalbarri. Very scenic and well set up for Caravans and tents with nice grassy spots. Ablutions and camp kitchen were fine. Nothing particularly close by although Cervantes was half an hour away. But you make your own fun. Lots of room to kick a footy, walk the dog or check out the animals. The morning tour of the property is well with the effort and it was enjoyed by kids and adults alike. The desert like sand dunes and pinnacles are the last thing you'd expect to see on a farm. And Brian was a great tour guide, giving us a history of the farm and sharing his knowledge of the national park.

Not suitable for group bookings
Despite direct communication confirming we were travelling as a group, there appeared to be confusion as to who had booked and paid and where to set up when we all arrived late afternoon. Three cars with trailers and gazebos had spread out along the wall of hay bales leaving little room for our group to set up our tents and cars. The generator ran throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep, and it was also clear that the toilets and showers were not cleaned daily and we had to ask for more toilet paper after the first night. The Station boundary tour would improve if a radio was used by the tour leader to convey information to the cars tagging along. Would not recommend for anyone travelling in a group.

Backup plan but not great.
It was nice to get away but we prefer something with a little more privacy. The camp area was small with everyone on top of each other. Camp rules state that personal generators can only be used for 2hrs yet there is a massive diesel generator located in the middle of the campsite adjacent to the toilet block that ran all night long to provide additional power for the powered sites. Hosts were not friendly at all, however, one old guy came around and offered the kids a ride in the Gator. Most people travelled to the coast during the days to avail playgrounds, pubs, beaches, etc as nothing to do at Nambung.

Great, if you don't need any sleep
The generator ran all night keeping us awake and went off at 7.45 am, why run it at night? The toilets and showers were not that clean, the area we were promised to camp had been taken by other campers. 3 campers in the same space that 7 of us had to cram into. We were in a group and had booked 6 months in advance. Very disappointing experience all round. Definitely won't be back.

Overall it was a good experience. However we were travelling through with the Subaru Club as a group and we did not get the bays that were allocated to us at the time that our trip leader made the booking. We were not able to put up our awnings as we had planned.
