Freedom Farmstay - simple, back to nature camping for FULLY self-contained travellers. CHILDREN are always FREE... We consider children to be 17 and under, if booking with teens, please list them in the 'children' section of the booking form. Quiet location on acreage in rural Baldivis (within the Perth metro area). We love our little tranquil piece of paradise... our little freedom farm, with it's beautiful natural spaces and menagerie of animals, yet close to lots of local amenities in Baldivis / Rockingham. We're just a 15min drive to the beach and 30mins to Perth city or Mandurah. We can only accommodate a small number of campers, or groups of campers, at any given time.. so you have space, solitude and security for your family/group. You MUST be fully self contained WITH your OWN TOILET. There is NO power available. Clear bore water for small tank fills can be arranged during your stay. NOTE: we do NOT have mains water and constant tap access is not available. Water refills need to be requested and you may need to wait several hours. Sites are in open paddocks with some limited shade available. Dogs are allowed ONLY if kept on lead at all times. Sites 1 and 2: Suitable for small/med vans, motorhomes, camper trailers and MINI-buses. Could fit 3 families if you're with a group. Private site for your family/group only. Site 3 (Families WITH children): Large area that can take all size vehicles including big rigs and full size buses. Could easily accommodate a dozen or so families if you have a big group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families. If you wish to book for a group, book as early as possible. Huge access gap into paddock, approx 15mtrs wide. Site 4: For any sized vehicles. Suitable for up to 3-4 families if camping with a group. This is a share site, so you may be sharing with other families. If you wish to book for a group, book as early as possible. Access gap approx 10mtrs wide. Campfires are allowed from late May, depending on local weather conditions and when the rain starts... Same day bookings are available BUT only BEFORE 3pm... AND you must call/text as soon as you've booked to let me know. WEEKLY DISCOUNT - staying a week? Pay 6 and stay 7. This is not currently available on hipcamp, but if you'd like to stay a week, please just book for 6nights and then send me a message saying you'd like to stay the free 7th night. Important NOTE: This is a WORKING hobby farm and equine property. There are tyres and poles. sand piles, fencing projects underway, etc etc. There are also many free roaming animals - my dog, our chooks, sheep and alpaca.. along with the usually contained horses. If you are looking for manicured, super flat areas or have a fear of animals - this is NOT the place for you. There are also a HUGE number of factors that can affect your stay that I have ZERO control over... The seasons change a lot of things throughout the course of the year: we have snakes (like ALL Aussie bush places) for most of the year, according to their seasons, varying growth stages of grasses (long, short, brown, green and sometimes grass seeds/prickles.. along with some crazy weather (high winds, high temps, storms) on occassion - NONE of which I have any control over.. so if you are a moaning myrtle and any of those things are likely to bother you, please don't come to our property... If you accept that you are staying on a working hobby farm / equine property and that I have no control over nature - then welcome, there is much beauty here for those who have the eyes to see - and as a base to explore the Perth area, we have a pretty convenient spot :)

I’m happy I was surrounded by great friends , I was shocked to see that any camp site can charge an amount of money for something that is not as described or advertised. We drove into the drive way to find a house There were gates - no signs , no directives , we were forced to get out and knock on door , A little girl answered the door approx 7yrs old , to say her mum and grandma were down where the caravans were. That was the first shock 🫢 a child in the house greeting strangers , having to direct to guardians and owners / managers. Very dangerous. We had a very tight squeeze to make it through a gate because the other gate was locked at that stage ? , we had booked 2 sites for 2 nights as we needed to have 4 cars at the time and we also wanted to ensure we had adequate space for the 7 of us. We also took 2 dogs on leads. Who go with us every time we camp. The spaces - we were allocated one space even though I paid for 2 It looked nothing as advertised- the space or the so called creek which was just a bunch off moss The owner / manager specifically said to us to keep our dogs on leads but we have video of 7 other dogs off leads including her 2 dogs When I spoke to her about the space for the two sites I booked she was defensive and so rude , saying “ what do you want 10 acres? “ when everyone knows when you are camping you just want some space , & privacy , thats why we camp , and also what’s advertised, nothing more , nothing less I don’t recommend at all
