We offer cabins, full-service RV sites, and back-country camping nestled in the heart of the West Virginia mountains at the confluence of the Holly River and Grassy Creek overlooking our stocked three-acre fishing pond. Conveniently located near the best outdoor recreation in Appalachia: Fishing, boating, hunting, hiking, trail riding, and climbing. Festivals and beautiful day trips on winding roads abound. Music lovers enjoy music on our pondside stage, or you can rent it for your own special event. Find an entertainment schedule and a list of amenities on our website. Located behind the pond at the confluence of Brushy Creek and the Holly River in our Fisherman's Village are our confluence campsites. Beauty and water activities abound in these sites on the property. They are suitable for two small tents, or one larger (9x11) tent with two to four people. Each site has a fire ring and a shared picnic table at the confluence common area. Three sites are directly beside the streams, and one is up on higher ground nestled between Holly River and the Pond. Its about a 5 minute walk back from the camp store and bathhouse around the pond. There is no water or electric, and you will have to pack your stuff a short ways into camp or ask us to tractor it back for you. It is our goal to provide a unique camping experience based on your needs, wants, and amount of people in your party. All sites are waterfront, some are more secluded than others. Call us to find the perfect fit.

Our Gypsy Group Camping Site is located in the Backcountry Village by the Holly River next to the hammock hostel. It is conveniently located near the outhouse, and only about a five minute walk past the pond to the camp store and bath house. 4-wheel drive is required to get one vehicle in, but we can help you tractor things to the site if you ask. There is a large fire pit in the middle and one at the site. A common picnic table is shared in the space, as is the beach and swimming area during higher water. This is a great place for medium sized groups of friends to all camp together. It is also considered general admission* camping during festivals, and events. Feel free to bring your horses or pets, just be sure to clean up after them. *This area is designated general admission camping when applicable. Site 31 - Lovers Lane Backcountry Tent Site

Named such because there is a heart shaped hole in a tree at the end of the trail. These two secluded sites are not just for lovers, but friends as well. A 2-3 minute walk from our outhouse and 7 minute walk from our bathhouse and bait shop over two hills leads you back to farthest point in camp along the Holly River. With a swimming hole, and undercut rock you can relax outside of the wifi zone listening to the water. An outhouse is just a short walk down the trail, and you are on a dead end path unless you care to bushwhack uphill to connect to the hiking path. This space is suitable for two people and a smaller 6x8ish tent. There are two campsites along the trail, each with a fire pit and rocks. Its a bit of a hike back there up two small hills, but we are happy to help tractor stuff back for you.Come hide away at the back of camp, nestled next to the Holly River.

This is a canvas safari tent with a woodstove, comfortable bed, carpet, tables, and chair to get you off the ground, and sleeping in style. Situated on a rock outcropping overlooking the pond with built in firepit and easy access to our bathhouse and bait shop. It is not 100% bug or critter proof, so please don't leave food or trash out. Amenities include solar powered lights, and charging station. If you want to camp with friends, you can rent the Woodchopper's Overlook Tent Site next door, and have a group campout. #1 Cabin Béla has a traditional feel with all the modern amenities. This riverside A-frame has a full bathroom with standup shower. Inside is kitchenette with retro studio fridge, microwave, small sink, and coffee maker; queen sized bed; full-sized sleeper sofa; recliner; Roku TV; and dining area. This cabin has energy efficient mini-split unit for heating and cooling. Good for one to four guests in two beds, all linens provided. Enjoy a family movie/game night or crack open the doors and listen to the steam reading a book. Our property has hiking and two streams meet behind our stocked fishing pond. Our tiny local community is amazing! We have made-from-scratch diner and large convenience store right outside our gate. Cabin Amalia is a family built cabin with lumber milled onsite. Sleeps up to four and has a full bath with standup shower. It is located in the Alpenglow Village in the treelined beside Grassy Creek and is near our resident goats and the bathhouse. The cabin was built as an artist retreat with lots of windows and stream views. The cabin accommodates up to four guests with its queen sized bed and twin daybed. Like all our A-frames, it was built for our family and guest to enjoy and the décor reflects the unique personality of one of our children and houses their treasures. We ask that you respect their space and things as you would your own family's space. Linens are provided.

#3 Cabin Frances is our family style bunkhouse with full bath. It has a queen sleeping loft and two bunkbeds giving it that summer camp feel. A relaxed space for kids of all ages to sit up talking and playing cards. The space boasts a full bath, and sitting room to overlook the river out back. This cabin has fans and space heaters to keep you comfortable. Francis can accommodate up to six guests with its bunk beds and loft. Want to bring a bed roll or cot and add a guest you are welcome to do so. The ladder to the loft may not be suitable for children or those with mobility issues. Please bring your own towels and linens, the mattresses only have covers.

The pondside cabin is the nicest rental available at Camp Holly with full kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living room. It has all the amenities you need for a home away from home including heat/AC, Roku TV in two rooms, bathtub shower, coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, dishes, pots, pans, and linens. Wake up in the morning overlooking the pond out the kitchen window or on the porch swing. This cabin sleeps four comfortably in a queen bed with private room, or on the pull out sleeper sofa. Maximum occupancy of 8 people and it is pet friendly. It is located between the river and the fishing pond with easy access to all of camp.

So calming and a good place to sleep! We were just spending the night but would be a great place to spend a weekend. Sweet cats greet you, also ducks and chickens. Fridge, microwave, and coffee pot available. Enclosed bathroom with shower and toilet inside. Great little diner down the road! Just be advised there is no signal there or the surrounding area. The wifi works well for the TV but not great for cellphones.

Pros: has two roomy one-person bathrooms that are kept clean and well maintained. Has a laundry room with towels and blankets etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean campsite and creek to play in for kids. Peaceful, quiet area (as long as nearby neighbors are the same) Well manicured campground, employee came almost daily to clean and check in. Cons: No trout! The site is heavily marketed towards great fishing, specifically trout. We were excited to catch and eat our supper. Went here in the fall '25, which fall is a great time of year to trout fish. When we got there, signs indicated that it is a paylake and that it is catch and release only (also surprised that you'd have to pay to fish at a campsite you're already paying for). We asked an employee because we were confused. She said all the trout had died, there were no trout in the pond anymore, and that she would let us fish for free because of that. My husband fished several times in the week and only caught one very small bass fish. What a disappointment for anyone looking forward to trout fishing. You shouldn't be allowed to list great trout fishing and stocked lake on your website and pamphlet if this isn't true. Only one of the bathrooms heaters work, which was a needed amenity in the cold weather. Sites are a little closer together than we would have preferred.

Cabin #3 Francis - Family Bunkhouse

My friends and I had a great time at Cabin 3! The hosts were quick to respond to our inquiries, and the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin can comfortably fit more than four people and still has plenty of space to move around. Both the indoor and outdoor bathrooms were clean. It’s the best place to relax, unwind, and enjoy good company. Highly recommend!

As a newbie to car camping, Camp Holly was exactly what I was looking for. Nestled in the mountains, my site #4 was perfect and had a nice little path down the bank to the creek. The pond is well maintained and there's a great hiking trail up the hill that my dog and I enjoyed. Firewood was readily available with carts to haul it the short walk back to campsite. The sites were clean and well cared for and if there was any drawback, it might be the noise of motorcycles and trucks from Rte 20 at time. (FYI bikers - WVA 15 from Flatwood to Diana and loop back north on 20 would be an amazing ride, but yeah, what part of WVa isn't?) The noise didn't bother me other than "made you look" reaction. I only mention it because it may be annoying to some. I got tired of my camp food so the last night I ordered out from the diner up the road - not to disappoint it was good old home cooked food and the owner was super friendly. Last but not least, the bath house was immaculate and was cleaned daily. I think you'll enjoy your stay at Camp Holly and highly recommend it.

Just what we needed! The cabin was well stocked and tidy, and the owners were so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean and updated. Our group booked a tent site and a cabin. The kids swam in the pond all day! We kayaked and used paddle boards. The stream behind us was so peaceful and we even hung out and kept cool in it. The sites are well shaded so we weren’t too hot. There is a local general store within walking distance that has just about anything you forgot! We are hoping to come back next year.

Had a great time tent camping at Camp Holly! Nice and cozy campground, Xavier was a very accommodating host. Also, the bath house was very well kept. Didn't get a chance to fish this time but the pond is clean and well stocked. Saw quite a few people catching fish consistently. Definitely will be back for another long weekend getaway!!

Overall, it was a good experience but the sites were pretty close and didn’t have much privacy. We loved the ability to shower and have eggs the next morning. We wished the market was open in the morning or someone was available. We payed for wood and took two pieces but again no one was around to tell us how much we should take or have. We paid for fishing but the pole wasn’t working and no one was there to talk about the problem. My boys still loved feeding the fish in the pond and finding skinks. We would return but be more assertive when someone came around. They were super kind when we did see them.

What a treasure Camp Holly was. Found the spot for a weekend girls camping trip. There were chickens running free, goats running around and kayaks and canoes available. It was such a cute little spot. Kylee, the host, was phenomenal. So hospitable. I don’t know if the weekend would have been so great if not for her. Can’t wait to go back next year with the younger kiddos to enjoy the property more. And of course, visit our girl Kylee (and Emma, of course!!)

This is a nice hipcamp with a heated bath house - there are 4 complete bathrooms with showers. We had full hook up for our small camper. There is a pond. Upon entering the site, we were met by the host who directed us to our site and was helpful with providing necessary information. We camped here for one night on a weekday in early October. There was significant road noise as log trucks were working hard to get as many loads as possible before winter.

The tent was far from glamp😞 Needs lots of work to be considered glamping ! But I did move over to there A frame cabin, and that was sufficient. I would suggest bringing your own coffee cup & Paper towels Also drinking water

This place is am absolute gem! 10 out of 10. A creek, a pond, on site hiking trails. There are goats, chickens, and a really cool duck. Sites are spacious and well thought out. The vibe is top notch. A beautiful quiet place. The pond in front and creek right behind the campsite gives a lovely magical feeling. Really enjoyed our stay! RV site with full hook up.

We had a great time at Camp Holly. There was a lot to do to keep everyone busy, from canoeing to fishing to feeding the animals to simply relaxing by the fire. The kids were sad to leave, so that should explain how much fun it was!
