Bare Cove is a recreation lake with campsites. However, we are not your typical camp ground. We have no quiet hours, we do get loud and have a great time on the weekends. It’s not uncommon for beer pong or card games to go into the early hours. We are open to all ages and backgrounds, anybody that enjoys making friends and having fun on the lake. All guests must sign personal injury waivers to cover our 6. So about the property, it’s 120+ acres with a 5 acre man made lake that features blue waters, a beach area and tikibar. We have atv trails, private camp sites and group sites. Enjoy the day floating in the clear blue water, fishing (separate pond) or hiking. Our lake also features a launch pillow for blasting your friends up to 20 ft in the air! We do have large float's for rent, which are great for groups. Bare Cove is the place to go for outdoor sports and recreation. We have secluded camp sites nestled along the creek and large, open space for group sites. Our land features a 5 acre private lake full of recreational toys and activities surrounded by 120 acres of atv and hiking trails. Our staff is dedicated to making sure you have an unforgettable experience.

This is a day pass for those who want to come swim and hang out for just the day. We have a limited number of chairs and floats and are on a first come first serve basis. However, you are able to book extras on Hipcamp. Things that are allowed: chairs, umbrellas, coolers, food, drinks, water floats. We definitely suggest bringing towels, sunscreen, water shoes, life jackets. Please be courteous and clean up after yourselves. If you have any questions, please message us.

Blue Bird the rad bus!

I completely loved the Blue Bird Bus experience! I traveled on my motorcycle so having everything on the bus I needs made my life easier: large cooler, lighting for night , fire wood, grill, a/c, pillow and blankets + bed, inside clean bathroom, cutlery, a sink, coffee maker etc this is glamping in a hip way. The host were so friendly and made me feel very welcomed on their property. They helped grab me some creamer for my coffee, shared a beer with me, and would check up on me to see if I needed anything. The site was easy to get to and park. This is a must stay!

Great weekend on the lake!

Drew and his wife were very friendly and helpful with everything we needed during our stay, they went above and beyond. The lake was absolutely beautiful, and perfect for swimming in to get out of the record breaking heat. The campsites were nice and secluded from each other, so every camp felt private from one another, but none were far from the lake or bathroom facilities.

Me and my wife had an amazing time! The hosts where super friendly and made sure our stay was amazing. We are definitely gonna be going back soon!!

The beauty and the tranquility of the Place sets it apart from all the other places we’ve camped. The host Andrew and his wife were amazing. Made us feel right at home . And the property with the views that you get to see from the top of the property is unmatched. I would recommend camping there to anyone as long as they know that it’s an adult campground. Which means no Kids

We had an awesome time at Bare Cove! The hosts were very accommodating and communicative! We stayed in a tent; our second night it rained very hard, and they helped us put an extra canopy over our tent to stop the leak from getting inside (this was late at night as well). Even though it was the end of the season, the lake was still warm and nice to swim in. The whole deck and bar area was very nice and the drinks were amazing. We will definitely be back next year to camp! Excited to see all the new things they have planned!

Great for those who don’t sleep

Though the grounds were nice and had the amenities listed available, I would not recommend this campground for families or anyone who enjoys going to sleep at a reasonable hour. My friend and I camped on the beach at Bare Cove (per the host’s recommendation) and were kept up until 3:00 AM by the host and his friends who were riding around on ATVs and construction equipment and shining bright lights only feet away from our tent. Not only was it frustrating to not be able to sleep during late night hours, but I was also scared due to the operation of heavy machinery RIGHT NEXT to where I was sleeping.

Best weekend ever!

My friends and I rented this site for Labor Day. We had the best day ever and so much fun! There were so many activities and we got to swim all day long. Andrew was the best! We will definitely be coming back soon! They had a great blob to jump on and a water trampoline. I would definitely recommend!
