Our 10 acres are wooded with trails that connect to hundreds of miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking. The Columbia River Gorge has most every sport and leisure activity available. Our sweet town of White Salmon is 3 miles away and has all you need for entertainment, food, and supplies. The yurt bed is super comfy, and the bucket toilet is indeed a bucket, but gets the job done! Running water available, dogs encouraged.Come sleep in our hand-made yurt only 3 miles from White Salmon, across the bridge from Hood River. It’s like camping, but with a comfortable mechanical-lift queen size bed, an electric blanket, and no tent to set up. Located near our house and all of our projects, the yurt is at a slightly lower elevation facing the woods for privacy. You will have your own parking space next to it. One-third of the yurt is open screen that faces the woods and can be covered by canvas flaps. An outdoor sink and BASIC BUCKET TOILET WITH SAWDUST are provided. Please be comfortable with this if you book. New on-demand hot water shower to come…only cold for now. WiFi is spotty. Nice dogs allowed and encouraged! We have our own big friendly boy Wilson roaming around. You can access miles of trails from the yurt. Let us know if you want a GPS map!

Bucket loads of fun

Quiet, secluded and friendly little spot. I’m planning to come back next year for sure. The toilet and shower situation was a little “breezy” but hey, we had fun w it and it made us smile.

We had an amazing stay at the yurt! The bed was super comfy and warm, and we woke up to incredible views of Kate's land. Absolutely magical--we can't wait to come back!

This was such a perfect spot for our weekend trip! Beautiful property, wonderful views from the porch, one of the most comfortable beds, and the hosts were so helpful and kind! Would definitely recommend!

What a beautiful spot! Kate really made sure that the yurt was ready for us with all sorts of amenities. It was so peaceful going to sleep with the sounds of the forest.

We loved staying in the yurt on Kate’s land! The bed was very comfortable and Kate made sure there were nice and fun amenities like a galaxy light for the evening and a hot plate and pour over to make our morning a little better with coffee. Kate was very friendly, as was her dog Wilson, and she made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here!
