Vital Farm is 25 acres of waterfront property on Clear Lake, WA. 18 acres of the property is agricultural land that is open space. The owners have a small garden and some fruit trees that are for owner's use only, but you are happy to walk around and tour the garden. Approximately 5 acres of the property is mowed for recreational use. There is a dock for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking or boating. The lake is open to boats, but no jet skis are allowed. You can bring your own water toys and play on the lake all day. There is open space for camping but no running water. The property has a firepit and porta potty for campers use. You will likely see wildlife like eagles (nest nearby), deer, geese, ducks, birds and of course clear, starry night, skies. *This is a working farm so while often you will have the property to yourself and other campers the owners may be present, occasionally, to work on farm projects and property maintenance in the periphery. We will always be respectful or your space and keep our projects to reasonable hours. There is a gas station, coffee shop, public beach, over 21 restaurant/bar and small store within walking distance from the property too. I would definitely tent camp here again! The view of clear lake is incredible, and the campsite itself is huge. We had plenty of room for our dogs to run around.

Just what we needed to relax. Large grass area with, fire pit, chairs, picnic table and dock to access lake. We did lots off SUP and swimming. Dogs enjoyed the freedom and swimming in the lake. Host was super nice and responsive.

Our group really enjoyed camping at this beautiful lakefront site. It was lovely to wake up to a view of the water and surrounding hills. We had fun paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. We appreciated having the space all to ourselves. Picking some of the most delicious blackberries on site was a bonus! The only downsides to the site were a porta potty that needed servicing and some frequent noise from a power washer and other equipment being used by the host.

Our group enjoyed being lakeside at this beautiful site. Having access to our own dock was fantastic. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. Getting to pick blackberries in season on the site was an extra bonus.

Our family loved tent camping on Robert’s property. We had a ton of space and very private. There is no clear boundary between the Homestead site and the Dock site that we had but with so much space we weren’t even close to being close. Our private dock gave us access to the lake which we used every day and the fire pit was perfe

Second time to this wonderful lake, and it is just as good as the last time. The lake is wonderful, the spot can hold a lot of people, but having it to yourself is really great.

We had a great camping trip. We lucked out with the weather and had a great time paddleboarding and having a fire right by the lake's edge. Bald Eagles perched nearby, birds playing games with a feather above us, and a very curious bunny who kept coming by to check on us! We'll definitely come back!

This was a fun spot! Direct lake access. Big field for activities. Spacious gravelled fire pit area with solar lights. Looked very new. Privacy from neighborhood homes. Lake edge had thick tall reeds which added to the privacy from the lake side. Portapotty was clean and well stocked. So much bird watching! There was a bald eagle's nest in the trees nearby and a golden eagles nest on the for side of the lake. Really enjoyed watching them hunt in the lake. Things to consider: 1. The site is a large open field directly against the lake. The only shade is two apple trees that shade the portapotty. Bring something to shade yourself. 2. This is goose territory. They wandered around nearby but didn't come near the site. There was a good amount of goose poop around the site though. Didn't impact our stay at all! 3. There is a gas station very close to the site. A break in the tree line silhouette the sign perfectly. We definitely snuck over to grab more ice (and ice cream).

We stayed for three nights to escape the heat in eastern Washington and it was great. We stayed in both spots and would recommend either one. Great views of the lake and surrounding areas. Our dogs enjoyed the water and the cool grass to play and lay in. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with in addition to all of the other positives of this Hipcamp!

Lovely spot with lake access and plenty of room to host a larger group! We had a great overnight birthday party here and really enjoyed the gravel picnic area where we hung out all day and well into the night. No complaints! Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a good and easily accessible camping spot for a group.

Nice space, gorgeous views. We had the campground to ourselves, the dogs had a blast just sniffing around and awimming in the lake- went paddle boarding. all around good weekend. Would love to see an expanded washroom - with a couple of compostable toilets and exterior sink with potable water. Maybe next year.😀

Had a great trip and really enjoyed my stay. Beautiful property , comfortable, and just as described. Robert was very informative and helpful—he took the time to explain the safe places to boat on the lake, which made things so much easier. Very nice man and a great host. I’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back!

We loved our time at the dock site! Robert's communication was clear and everything was just as expected - amazing! There was lots of grass to play fetch with the dogs, so much nature to enjoy around us, and easy access to the lake via the dock and shore for our paddle boarding adventures. We hope to come back!

Tent camped on the homestead site and I was perfect. We are definitely going to go back some time. Close to stores but while camping you would forget about how close that was. Wildlife everywhere, including a pair of bald eagles with a nest that you can admire catching fish in the lake. Site by the dock wasn't close enough to hinder the stay at all. Awesome site and awesome host.

We had a wonderful stay, and are looking forward to returning! There was so much space - the kids, dogs and parents all had a fantastic time. We spent a lot of time fishing, kayaking and enjoying the fire pit right by the water. The grounds and dock are incredibly well kept, portapotty was very clean. There was a bit more road noise than we anticipated, but weren't bothered by it. The lake is popular and it was fun to see so many people enjoying the sunshine out on the water. Robert spent a lot of time at the property working on projects and fishing with his daughter during our stay, our husbands enjoyed talking with him and learning about the property. It's a beautiful place and we highly recommend it!

This lakeside spot is awesome! We've been eager to book this place, but it's always fully booked. I reserved it immediately after checking availability, and fortunately, they allow same-day reservations. We're looking forward to returning with the family next time for a longer stay in nice weather to enjoy the lake. The host seems friendly and responsive. Thank you!

Relax, breath and enjoy.

Robert's land is a super nice place to relax that is not hours away. There was a picnic table, fire pit, a couple Adirondack chairs and a couple other chairs there waiting for us right at the edge of the lake. I spent several hours at the end of the dock with a linw in the water and a glass of wine. Now that's fishing! There isn't obvious spaces to park your trailer/RV or pitch a tent. We found a great spot that only needed a little leveling for our travel trailer. Worked out perfect! We did have the noise of very light traffic, some sirens, and the occasional train whistles which were just far enough away to be nice and not annoying. We saw eagles, the Great Blue Herrons, a pair of Osprey, and several song birds. We truly enjoyed and will recommend to anyone who asks.

It’s a beautiful open field with singular access to a dock out onto a fairly calm and not busy lake. Pretty quiet except for traffic noise and some party noise.

Beautiful place to camp. The lawn is soft and green. The dock out to the lake is a bit precarious at first, but you get used to it. Kayak launching was easy and there's lots of space for games or quiet time. Wildlife watching was also spectacular. Bring your binoculars. Robert was friendly and he keeps the property well maintained.

Robert has an awesome get away for anybody looking to get out in nature, yet be close to the city. We always reserve the group sight, which is isolated, has a dock (great for fishing with kids) overlooks the lake, and has a great view of the mountains. Robert has been nothing short of accommodating the past two years! We will be back every year in the foreseeable future.

Lovely little lake and a nice big area to camp. The site was as advertised and Robert was very helpful and responsive over chat. It was a great overnight stop for us that was just a short distance from Highway 5.

Beautiful property and plenty of space. Our neighbors were awesome and invited my kids to go tubing with them on their boat. Great little park with a sand beach that's within a 5 minute walk. Eagles hang out in a tree close to the site and you can watch them grab fish out of the lake. We will be back soon!
