For an overnight it was fine. First time using Hipcamp so didn’t know what to expect. Just a little suggestion, I would have a water source available or maybe that is in the description of the Hipcamp (?) also having the toilet facilities would also be a consideration but what was there was simple and clean. Setting is very nice. We didn’t meet the host(s) I said “ mixed feelings” not in negativity but to be helpful. We had lovely “neighbors and the Quincy shuttle was a lifesaver

Quiet spot for concert goers

We had a wonderful visit to Dave and Julie’s spot. Though they were busy working, Dave and his grandson kindly made time to say hello. The campgrounds are perfect for rv parking with a clean and spacious gravel lot with a great neighboring lawn adjacent to the fragrant lavender. We spent a single night in order to attend a concert at the nearby gorge. We were able to stay for the entire concert knowing we only had a short drive back to the quiet and comfortable campground. We are self-contained in our RV, except for waste management, so the restroom a short walk away was essential. We look forward to returning with more time to spend visiting Dave and Julie’s shop and our next concert. This was my first Hipcamp experience and it was great.

What a cute little stopping place! The lavender farm is beautiful, and the spot was perfect as we trekked across Washington. A little noisy with the highway and the neighbors dogs barking, but still a wonderful spot, with a nice grassy lawn by the spots.

Close to the Gorge but quiet!

Great property and location! Will stay here for all Gorge shows. It's quiet, close to the Gorge from Silica Road and has nice amenities. The bathroom is useful as is the covered seating area. Definitely the preferred Hipcamp in the area if you want to be close to the Gorge but not in the loud party scene. The owners were great at communicating and helpful. Thanks!

Great location clean and delightful

Camp at the lavender farm was quite peaceful. We had a very friendly cat come and join us for coffee every morning. The property was lush with green landscape. The lavender was in bloom and the fragrance was abundant. The rest room was clean and close to where we parked our camper. It was the perfect location to camp outside of the Gorge. I highly recommend Dave’s site.

Came up for a girls weekend to the Brandi/Indigo Girls concert and this was perfect! The restroom was very clean and convenient and the entire property was clean. Be mindful of how deep the gravel is, we had to dig out for trailer stability.

Appreciate how close this camp space was for being out of town for a music event at the Gorge. Easy to find and get set up at and the lavender was beautiful to wake up to in the morning!

Rude owner, would not recommend!

When booking this camp site, it was not clear that car camping was not allowed. We arrived at the site and had no issues until the following morning when we heard a loud repeated knock on the car door at 5am. The owner of the site woke us up to tell us we had to leave immediately because we didn’t have an RV. He was very disrespectful and as he walked away he slammed the car door in my girlfriend’s face. When we asked why we had to leave, he provided very little explanation and just told us to get off his property because we were “scamming the system” by not having an RV. There were at least 4 other campers who were also kicked out at the same time because they were car/tent camping. Would not recommend this camp site to anyone car camping unless you like being woken up at 5am and having doors slammed in your face! Although it is stated one time (which can be easily missed) they should make it more obvious if they are so passionate about NO CAR/TENT CAMPERS.

Sweet Spot

The tiny home was such a sweet stay. It was quiet, clean, and cozy, with everything we needed. Short drive from The Gorge venue. The fridge stored our food staples, and we easily cooked breakfast with the kitchen set up. Hope to come back again <3

Peaceful stop

After a long day of driving it was nice to spend the evening with the soft scent of lavender and the subtle hum of the bees nestled in the lavender. The little seating area in the shade under the trees and by the creek/culvert between orchards was a good escape from the heat. On the night we stayed, we had the place to ourselves. The bathroom was clean and private. I wish we had arrived before the store had closed but we had a wonderful time anyways. Easy and peaceful stop on the way to the coast.
