For your Glamping and RV'ing Pleasure; The Landing at Lake Ploenta, a private, gated, resort-style destination, is offering lake-side safari tents and short-term RV spots. Each Tent rental includes a queen-sized bed, extra cot (if needed), fire pit, picnic table, and 2 adirondack deck chairs! Each RV site includes hookups, picnic tables, and drive through lot setup. Adjacent to the site is a lake with ducks, geese, bass, frogs, cattails, lily pads, and lots of ducklings and goslings in the springtime. The property is set in a beautiful forest-setting filled with ferns, vine maples, deer, & mossy green colors. Bring your fishing gear, and binoculars. Enjoy! Property Rules * Respect the land and tent as you would your own. * Don’t leave out food that could attract wildlife * Be mindful of any local fire bans and quiet hours * Keep valuables on you or secured in your vehicle Respect & Safety Don't carve your name into anything, or cut down trees. Fern Gully, Site 2 - Glamping at Lake Ploenta just got better. We have redecorated our sites! You will enjoy comfortable linens, nice flooring with either wood or carpet, and sheep rugs. A main queen size bed and a 2nd fold away twin sized bed, wood-burning stove, water cooler, outdoor firepit, and BBQ grill (you need to bring your own briquettes). Each Tent is built on a raised platform with Adirondack chairs and picnic table. There is one portapot shared between both tents with motion sensor light and sink with running cold water. An extra pop-up tent is included for kids or whomever may want to set it up in the grass. How 6 Guests can fit at the Tent spot: The Queen Bed sleeps 2 and Cot sleeps 1, for a total of 3 inside the Tent. If you would like to bring your own pop up tent for up to 3 kids or friends to set-up in the grassy orchard area, you can do so. Available as of July 1, 2025: Outdoor shower adjacent to the tent sites with a cedar wood enclosure. Water is cold. Refreshing on hot days, not recommended on cold days! This is a brand new Yurt erected in the 2024 season. You will enjoy a Queen Bed on ground floor (sleeps 2), pull out Sofa Bed in the loft (sleeps 2), and an extra cot (sleeps 1). The Yurt is erected on a raised wooden platform, has a meadow view in a private forest setting, and is approx 380 sq ft of floor space. It comes equipped with a small kitchen including refrigerator, hot plate, tea kettle, dishes, utensils, and wifi. There are a few chairs for relaxing, it is a short distance to walk around lovely Lake Ploenta, and you can also hike the trails on the back forty acres. There is a sink and shower for washing, and although water pressure is on lower end. Bathroom is in a portapot 30 steps away. Jordan Suspension Bridge & Swimming Hole: just a 5 minute drive down Jordan Trails Rd is the Suspension Bridge across the Stilligaumish River. Bring your entire family to this great cabin with lots of room for fun and relaxation. Whether you're seeking Long walks on the peaceful manicured trails in the woods or Fishing, Bird Watching, Paddle Boating, BBQ-ing, Riding your horses, or just getting away from it all! We've got something for everyone. Horse and Pet Friendly. ADA accessible. Sleeping Arrangements: The cabin sleeps 7 comfortably, so you can bring the whole family or share the experience with friends. The Space: The Cabin is as a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom guesthouse on 60 wooded acres. The main residence is nearby and is inhabited by the hostess and her family. So we are here if you ever need a thing! Water: The well water is treated and very good to drink and shower, although sometimes a bit of a well water odor. Guest access: The property is gated and will provide a gate code prior to your arrival. The entire property short of the shop/ maintenance area is open to our guests. The lake, the kayaks, the horse stables, the trails, the woods, basically everywhere on the grounds! Rate: The cost is at the calendar rate up to 7 guests. Pet Fee is $75.00 up to 2 dogs. Horse Fee is $25.00 per night up to 2 horses in Corral - Your feed. Our feed= $10.00 per day per horse. Other activities on the property: This is an active recreational property where we host wedding events, RV spots, and Glamping tent sites. It is generally low-key and peaceful, though. Fern Gully is a perfect spot for group camping, off in the back of the property offered much privacy! Beautiful grounds and very serene! Many trails and the lake had many Bass, but too small this year to keep. Highly recommend!

Such a great place for family fun! The very friendly ducks delighted the kids. Got to meet the host and he was very friendly and accommodating! So many trails we didnt get to explore, too busy on the boats in the lake and fishing. Very much recommend!!

My husband and I liked this place so much we added another night (which Mimi was so quick to help out with as the calendar on the Hipcamp app wasn’t showing availability). The tent camping was perfect. Set at the back of the lake, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The host was so friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend going out there to everyone.

Mimi's property was a hidden gem. We loved fishing in the lake, catch and release, large mouth bass. We reserved all 4 RV sites for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. We had a fun day swimming at nearby Stillaguamish River, and a great dinner at nearby Nuttys Roadhouse Grill (no bar there, though) The Landing is best if you are able to rent all 4 sites together with family or friends. Though very ample sized, there's not too much privacy between the sites if you don't know your neighbors. Mimi was so sweet and gave us privacy and space. This gorgeous property is a Dreamland in progress. They've done so much to landscape and improve the already perfect natural space. Having a reunion or wedding there would be perfect!

Everything went great! The convenience of the one was nice for fishing, there are trails and paved areas when you come in. Trails are primitive would not take small children. Everything was nice except there was some construction going on by the lake which was the only thing I wish was not happening while I was there. But over all it was adorable! Mimi is very responsible and friendly!

Great space! We stayed in yurt #1 fern gully! Lovely area, fun exploring trails and was so nice to stay dry in rain - glad we weren’t tent camping! First time to use Hipcamp - have always camped at state parks in past. Highly recommend!

Mimi’s property was better than we even expected! They have plans to continue to enhance the experience for all. They have done a superb job on it, and have thought of every small detail. Seriously!!! We stayed at RV site 1 with our 2 young boys and dog and had a blast. We walked the back 40 trail (an hour with kids, 30 min without), did peddle boats and adventured around for our 4 day weekend. Beautiful ducks (not the average brown ones), deer and wildlife abound. You can walk around the little lake. Calm serene environment. Water fountain sounds were lovely. Unlike another review said, there were not a lot of cars coming and going during our stay (a normal amount). Mimi was very responsive and answered all of our specific questions before arrival. She and her SO were genuinely kind people. You can tell their love for people and animals! There are a few short term RV spots to stay and each of them were very quiet, respectful and no different than having another RV at the campsite. We were the loudest ones there with our kids. 😬 We will definitely be back. My kids want to stay in one of the geo-domes some time. They look amazing (especially the two story one with a kitchen. I want to come back with extended family and rent out all the spots! What a great place to have a family reunion or wedding!! My kids also loved the vending machine for snacks. Laundry on site and a dump station which was very convenient for our RV. Also Stilly Diner was a yummy breakfast spot nearby.

Really lovely spot! Cozy setup, good directions, great communication from the host when I had questions. So nice to have a real bed while camping! If you’re a light sleeper, there’s a rooster and dogs nearby and the bullfrogs get some good volume too! 😆 We played white noise on my phone to help but there is no electricity at the site so you’ll want to bring a portable charger of some sort if you need it. Excellent stay overall! Loved paddling around the little pond!

What an incredible place Mimi has created. It is like going to your own private oasis. My dog and I really enjoyed exploring the back 40 acres. It was like having your own private state park. Mimi has the trails very well marked. There is even a waterfall view point. The falls was dry during my visit, but it was still a pretty spot. The property has RV and tent camping as well as cool geo domed yurts and a couple of house/cabin rentals. It would be a terrific place to have a family reunion. There is also a space for wedding/reunion gatherings on the little lake. The RV spaces were shaded by noon, which was really nice. Cell service was great (I have AT&T) It was also very nice to have a dump station that was easy to access and use before leaving. Mimi is a creative visionary and takes a lot of pride in making a beautiful place for all to enjoy. My family and I will definitely be back.

Great place to go glamping with a group of friends . Close to town, good amenities, good hike, waterfront and great hosts. Highly recommend going in with a group because the two tent sites are fairly close to each other . We went with family and friends and had a blast.

We stayed overnight at this glamping site booked through Hipcamp, and it was the perfect escape. The roomy structured tent on a raised platform was cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful amenities like a portable restroom (complete with sink and lighting), a grill, fireplace, and even firewood provided. The lake is less than 50 feet from the tent and full of fish — a great bonus for relaxing or casting a line. It’s just 20 minutes outside of town, pet-friendly, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommend for a peaceful couples getaway ✨️

Near Perfect Pac Northwest Oasis!!

This is a beautiful piece of property to bring your RV to. Believe they had tent sites as well. Never talked with host and that is fine. Had bunches of walks to the back 40 on the trails that are well marked in the woods. The host has put a lot of effort into making this 60 acres and oasis to go stay at. Never got to fish but the pond (lake) is very nice and am sure with the lilies a plastic worm would have tore up the bass. I do have a couple very small negative comments that would not be a deterrent to stay again at all. The B-1 through B-4 Rv sites were not all the same width. Not knowing this going in, we rented at B-4. With slides out and where we had to park to clear these from obstructions, picnic table, arborvitae, power and water island, our stairs to our door stopped at the base of an arborvitae. Not a big deal like I said, I would stay in this same spot tomorrow if we were in town. Also, it is awesome they have a dump on site, majority on hip camp do not. However, it is on the wrong side of the driveway. The four sites B-1 through B-4 either have to pull out of their site and back around the corner to the dump or pull out with the rv dump on wrong side compared to dump and run multiple lengths of dump hose or pull out of site and do a circle coming back into the rv space to dump. I might be wrong but most if not all rv/campers have the dump on drivers side. Please note that these two last comments are uber picky. I highly recommend!!!!

Fern Gully Site 2, "Boho Country"
Was my first time glamping. Girlfriend and I found this spot and loved it! Tent was clean and cozy. Made for an extra special time with all the rain that weekend. Used it as a home base to explore the surrounding areas. Would totally recommend to a friend and stay there again!

Dragonfly Yurt
I love the setup and how they built the dome with all the amenities. The pillows and comforters are comfy. The shower is a big plus. They have everything you need. The community is gated and safe. I highly recommend this place if you want a quiet, safe, and peaceful weekend getaway. The hosts are easy to communicate with.

Fern Gully Site 2, "Boho Country"
We had a really wonderful stay here! The tent, linens, and bed were all very comfortable and clean. The site is at a corner of the property that feels private and quiet, plus it's right next to one of the trails. It was lovely walking the property and through the well marked trails in the woods, and the host was so friendly when we crossed paths. We definitely want to come back!

Natural beauty, we loved walking around the lake and the ducks are fun to watch! I did notice that the larger tree’s between the sites in some of the pictures had been replaced with new trees so there is not much privacy between the A sites and there is very little room to spend any time outside at the site. We didn’t have an issue since there was nobody next to us but if there had been I can see it would be very tight quarters. We definitely enjoyed our quiet weekend away.

Baan Rai Cabin
There are not enough good things I could ever say about our cabin stay. First off, the day of our trip, Mimi sent very clear instructions on how to get to the cabin. The cabin itself….wow. It is clean, maintained, and it shows how much Mimi and her family love it. The property….so many trails around the 40 acres, complete even with a waterfall! We were pleasantly surprised by how big it was. Fall colors were popping, ducks swam on the pond and ran to greet us, a family of deer roamed around, and there was a small beaver damn near the lake. (No one was home in it though.) My friend and I will definitely be back.
