Private, pretty, but still close in

I put together I group of campers for Memorial Day weekend. Mitch and Michelle were SO NICE. There is a shower, flush toilets, well maintained grounds, and we had a move matinee that Mitch set up the projector and sound for. Project Hail Mary while camping? Sign me up! Everyone had a great time, and the farm is close to EVERYthing, while still being private. If in season, there is fresh produce available, and we had a fire every night. Of course that depends on burn bans, but the hosts were very accommodating. This is my second stay at the farm. My friends and I will be back.

This is definitely my go to camp spot when I am in the area. It's a beautiful farm property, and has all the amenities whether you are car camping or in an RV. Mitch & Michelle are super friendly folks that go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. If you are a birder, the Billy Frank Jr Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge is not too far away. Don't hesitate to book a site here- you'll be glad you did.

We camped at Summit Farms with a group a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. The property is spacious and scenic and the amenities were decent. We hope to return again in the future

Flat and pretty!

Lovely flat space. The Barn pictured is fabulous, but worth noting that it is upstairs. Bathrooms downstairs were clean and spacious. There is also a shower! I had a power spot and all was nice and easy to get to (none of those low to the ground water spigots!) There were picnic tables, dogs were safe and happy. Would recommend.

Better than a state park!

Wonderful camping! Our site felt so private and beautiful. But not too far from the main area. We would absolutely come again. 5 minutes down the street is the state park with great walking, swimming and picnicking

The site definitely was not level. Electrical connection did not have an on/off switch. The cap for the black tank disposal connection was very difficult to remove (had to use tools to remove it) In fact it was covered in high grass. Even though the place was peaceful we expected more interaction with the hosts. They were not even there to greet us when we arrived even after calling them previous to arrival as instructed. The bathrooms were clean but the shower was a joke. Overall it was quiet but we would not return.

Dry Site 3 - Gingergold Orchard

We had a great time at Mitch and Michelle's! Our kids had fun playing on the swings and exploring around our sites :) They also loved movie night in the barn :) Mitch was very helpful and let us use a folding table we needed. And we hope to have been as good guests as they were hosts.

FamilyDry Site 1 - Blackberry Grove

We’re traveling cross country and using Hipcamp to find spots along the way. We weren’t aware that the host required arrivals before 8pm and that we needed to be greeted upon check-in. With no service on the road, we had to adjust our plans and arrived at 8:10pm. The site has two bathrooms and one shared shower, which could have used a rinse. Overall, it was an okay stay, but be mindful of the check-in time.

Mitch and Michelle have a beautiful, peaceful pasture area with fruit trees, set up nicely to relax. They helped guide me backing into my site. I only stayed one night so I didn’t get to take advantage of the spaces in their barn.

Beautiful property and wonderful hosts. Mitch brought us fresh veggies from the farm and gave us a pail so we could pick blackberries (border much of the land and abound during August). Our site was the least private but still felt very spacious and peaceful. Can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay here at Summit Farm! We stayed at the Walnut Tree site and that was so peaceful. Loved walking the dogs around the farm, wonderful off leash areas, Mitch and Michelle are very kind and helpful! We got to see them at the Olympia Farmers Market and had the juiciest peaches!! A perfect place to stay! We will be back!! Appreciate your kindness and welcoming us to your property!

We were a group of 5 friends and absolutely loved camping at Mitch and Michelle's farm. Farmer Mitch met us during check in and gave us a quick tour of the property - the place is clean and the tent sites were freshly mowed - the trails were mowed and kept clean. the property offers view of clear skies to see the amazing stars and milky way. Mitch was an amazing host - he hooked us up with some fresh produce - hot peppers, garlic and onions. When we were too lazy to go out and get more firewood, Mitch got us a BIG box of firewood for only $10. He definitely is a great host and will make sure you are comfortable at his place. We will definitely be back to camp at their place. I 100% recommend Mitch and Michelle's summit farm for a camping trip away from city hustle for a quick reset :)

This was our third time visiting which says a lot. Mitch and Michelle are excellent hosts; friendly, accommodating, and always wanting the best for their hipcamp guests. They recently made some changes to the property as well. Instead of porta potties now there are two toilet bathrooms in the barn. Showers have also been added too (we did not use them this trip). Being there during a busy weekend for them we weren't able to explore much else, but we absolutely loved hanging out at our site with our group of 7. We had the honor of being the first to test out new site, Coopers Hawk, and it certainly is excellent for larger groups. It's private, which is a must for us, and beautiful. The site was a walk from the bathrooms which could be the only downside, but we really didn't mind. Overall, we certainly will be returning for a fourth time, no doubt about it!

We had a great time staying at summit farms! The hosts were very helpful and responsive to questions. The campsite was lovely and we were treated to a beautiful sunset, the sounds of frogs and birds, a deer wandering through, and an incredibly clear starry night with a huge moon. Lovely farm

The red barn site was perfect for us. Such a beautiful quiet spot located close to Millersylvania State Park and the Yelm-Tenino & Chehalis-Western rail trails which we bicycled. We were met promptly by Mitch bearing homegrown onions and garlic which we used in spaghetti sauce that first night. Thanks for the great first Hipcamp experience!

This is one of our favorite stops along the I-5 corridor as we are often traveling from southern Oregon to Seattle. Mitch always has a warm welcome for us, and it's one of those rare camps that offers full hookups. There have been recent upgrades to facilities and the red barn now has bathrooms and a shower available. It's a peaceful and beautiful place to stay and we will definitely look forward to the next time we visit.
