WE ARE A WORKING ALPACA RANCH & BOUTIQUE. THIS WINTER WE HAVE MADE SOME NEW WONDERFUL UPGRADES ON OUR SITES ACTIVITES FOR 2025. EASIER ACCESS TO SITES FOR LONGER UNITS, 30 AMP SERVICE FOR MORE SITES TWO OF THE SITES HAVE BEEN RELEVELED OUR AIM IS OFFER OUR GUESTS THE BEST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE. TO ENTER THE RANCH, LOOK FOR OUR STRAWBERRY FIELDS SIGNS ON MCELROY RD. OUR DRIVEWAY IS CLEARLY MARKED WITH TWO STARWBERRY FIELDS SIGNS AT THE ENTRANCE ON MCELROY RD. SOMETIMES GPS WILL TAKE YOU NEXT. THE TOP PRIORITY AT STARWBERRY FIELDS ALPACAS IS THE HEALTH & WELFARE OF EACH ANIMAL ENTRUSTED TO US. WE ARE COMMITTED TO THE FOCUS & IMPORTANCE OF RESPONSIBLE ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & BREEDING PROGRAM. OUR BOUTIQUE IS FULL OF WONDERFUL ITEMS FROM THESE FUZZY FRIENDLY & AMAZING CRITTERS. WELL THIS HAS BEEN QUITE THE WINTER!!! IN 2024 LAST YEARS RAINFALL WAS 27.21" FOR THE 12 MONTHS -- THIS YEAR IN THE FIRST 4 MONTHS OF 2025 WE HAVE ALREADY EXPERIENCED 34.82". NEEDLESS TO SAY WE HAVE WORKED MIGHTILY TO TRY TO STAY AHEAD OF THE CHALLENGES OF THE MAGNITUDE OF RAINFALL IN ARLINGTON THIS WINTER. WE HAVE CREWS HERE TO HELP FOR SOMETIMES DAYS AT A TIME AND THE STAFF HAVE WORKED IN LIMITING THE REAL MUDDY & PUDDLED AREAS FOR VISITORS. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME VISITORS, BOOKING THE SAME DAY WE JUST DIDNT WANT TO TURN AWAY THAT WERE NOT HAPPY WITH THE WET CONDITIONS AND COMENTED ON THE FEEDBACK. THE RANCH IS IN GREAT SHAPE ALL NEW & REPAIRATIVE WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED APRIL 15TH 2025..

Please bring your own drinking and cooking water. There is a restroom facility on site with a shower. This is a shared bathroom for all guests. Dogs permitted on leash.

Booked the site last minute, and arrived at the farm late in the day. Instructions were not given as to where my site was, and no one was around to help. Messaged and called host, was told I would be helped shortly. Waited around forever, and that did not happen. The farm was very busy and loud with lots of traffic to what seemed like a trap house. The property was full of trash, and there was no bathroom like advertised. I saw a lady sitting there, and I asked where I should check in for the campsite, but all she could tell me was “not to drink the water” and there was “a known drug house, and lots of customers come through late at night, so make sure our belongings were secured”. Tried to call the host multiple times, and was ignored. I STRONGLY suggest against booking this place. I have filed a formal complaint with Hipcamp, and hope to have it removed from the site altogether.

Super easy to find and good spots to park for the night. We pulled in late in the night due to a late ferry departure and the host was very accommodating, and even gave us a nice tour of their store.
