We stayed over on a Friday evening in September 2023 during a long road trip. The lot(?) is nice, for sure. The fishing, boating, kayaking, and other water play was definitely an option with the new deck. The porta-potty as of writing this is a bit wonky (not locking, slightly tilted, though not stinky), and was a bit in need of some cleaning and TP replenishing by the time we left. I did message host about TP and he replied quickly with a "Thank you!!!" Mostly quiet with the exception of gun range noise (was Friday night), coyotes yipping, and occasional road noise. Still was a nice break from the roar of the highways we just came off of. All that said, I would stay again and make sure I have a 50 amp coupler thing for electric. I missed that part when reserving this spot. My fault.

We liked the spot, and the water front was very nice. We were just a little weirded out about the security cameras on the trees aimed at us the entire time camping. Besides that, it was decent.

The site was beautiful and serene! The hosts arranged a really comfortable setup with a picnic table, 2 firepits, and seating by the lake. It was an awesome spot!

Quiet lake side setting with private dock. Over-all it was a great place to camp. The one and only con of the site is the honeybucket needs to be fixed / replaced.

Our family had a great time at this spot. It was clean, peaceful and the neighbors were friendly. We brought our kids and dogs, and all of them had a blast swimming in the lake. We are explorers at heart and usually spend at least one day driving around and visiting local parks, but stayed at the site the entire time we camped. It was that good. We would love to come back and camp here again.

This is a great spot on a quiet lake. Lots of space and our dog loved the room to roam safely. We brought the paddle boards and really enjoyed the weekend. Great spot.

We loved this private campsite. Hook ups for our RV, and private deck to the lake. Lots of space to play outdoor games. We will definitely be back.

What a beautiful little spot. Had everything we wanted in a campsite - right on the water, multiple fire pits, ample parking. Nice flat, open ground for the tents, very clean. There were even chairs for around the fire already there.

Fantastic spot on the water. The added gravel for the parking pad was great, almost perfectly level that I didn’t need to use any leveling blocks for our travel trailer. Nice open grass area and great pea gravel section down by the water to sit and enjoy the lake.

It was a very beautiful place. We enjoyed the lake every day. I really would have loved to stay longer. 5 days just wasn't enough. Site was extremely clean. There was a lot of bees and mud boggers. But your outside, it comes with territory. Would definitely be back.

We are a group of 6 people with 2 toddlers and 2 dogs. First thing we noticed upon arrival is the lake view. It was beautiful!
PROS: Lots a shade from trees on each side, and still have enough space to see stars at night. Newly placed pebble like gravel near the lake which is perfect for a canopy, it also made us feel like vasilios prepared the site for us really well. We asked about the porta-potty on when it was serviced, and he gave us an update that it was cleaned right before we went camping. We asked if they sell firewood, he said no, but when we got to the campsite, he placed some tree branches near the fire pit (we appreciate the small gestures). There is a picnic table under a tree, few patio chairs and some hollow blocks that we used for our portable stove. He also has trash bins that already has plastics and has cover (which we appreciate). Vasilios is also very responsive to questions.
CONS: train noises at night. Since it is right next to the main street, car noises can be heard. Wish there is a proper drain near the faucet so it wouldnt flood where the faucet is. Some part of the ground was uneven but i think its because of the truck trail that was left when the new gravel was placed. It was patched with grass, so it made it more even.
Overall, we'd comeback to this site and would recommend this to anyone! And dont forget to bring your water activities stuff. Paddle board, floaties etc. also have nice houses around to look at while you're in the water.

The lake is calm and scenic - with water lilies ( I think), ducks swimming by, and birds of prey flying overhead. My family had fun fishing off the dock while watching kayakers go by. The fire pit was great. It was nice to have a picnic table and chairs. The campsite was easy to find. Our dog loved running around off leash. it was quiet at night even though it sort of felt like we were in someone’s backyard.

Beautiful spot on the lake! Great views, warm water, perfect mix of sun and shade, potable water, private, nice size trash and recycle cans, close proximity to stores where you can buy necessities like ice and firewood. Bring your floaties to swim. Highly recommended!

Went for a family camping trip and had a great time! The spot was very nice. But I honestly cannot recommend the swimming area. It is gross and there is garbage on the bottom of the lake making it unsafe.

Overall we had a good experience. The lake is pretty with plenty of fish.
The lot is bigger than we anticipated and my dog had a great time running around. It was a quiet space with lots of bird song around. Nice shady and sunny spots to hang out in. The only downside was the porta potty. It had not been serviced in quite some time. Even the men in our party mentioned it, so it had to be bad.

This spot is perfect for a big group! We had ten people with plenty of room for tents and cars. The lake was beautiful and it was really nice to have the dock. Our dogs were swimming all day and we went out on our kayak even in the rain. The site was clean and well maintained. We’d love to come back again!

The properties location was close to Smokey Point and lots of grocery and restaurant options. When we arrived the electricity panel wasn’t work properly, the owner was quick to reply. Luckily a family member was able to temporarily fix the issue so we had power for the holiday weekend. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed fishing from the dock. The area close to the dock is still pretty soggy from the spring rain, so bring some boots. It was a bit of work getting into the site and backing out onto the main road for our larger trailer. Area was quiet and felt safe.
