Run with Alpacas Farm is an agricultural Farm Stay camp, fiber production business specifically raising alpacas, llamas, and endangered "Teeswater sheep". The property also hosts Olympic Peninsula Alpaca Rescue, a 501C3 nonprofit Alpaca and Llama Rescue. The property has rolling pastures with the Olympics Mountain range as a back drop. Guests can assist as needed on rescues animals needing assistance. Accommodations include the following amenities: clallam county public water accessed by a hose, a hand washing stations, handicap portable bathroom, additional bathroom, garbage cans, limited electricity for e-bike batteries and cell phone charging, station, free guest wifi, service willing. Alpacas Olympics, also on site, is a private Alpaca Husbandry business which sells fleece products. Cria season (baby alpaca), Lamb season is from April to the end of August. Guests share in the operations of a day to day running Alpaca farm. Guests have a rare opportunity to be assist on the Largest Operating Alpaca Rescue in the United States.

This is not for camping booking. It is for tours... Feed, experience, touch alpacas, llamas and sheep. Get to know a cria (baby alpaca or llama) close up. Go into lambing pens with young lambs being born. Learn about differences between Alpacas, llamas, Suri's and Huacaya's. Bring thinly sliced apples or carrots slices if possible and a fully charged phone battery for a once in a lifetime experience. Children under 5 have to be carried due to hazards.

I loved tent camping among the animals. They were all very comfortable with our presence, a little curious at times, and a little excitable about food. Overall beautiful camping space, land was well maintained, the operators were helpful, friendly, and easy to contact. Will definitely be back!

Awesome property to camp as you’re doing a drive around Olympic. Tons of space on the alpaca field to set up a tent. The alpacas and llamas were an added bonus that we really enjoyed. Communication with Roni was fast and easy. Would recommend. The porta-potties were kept clean!

This Hipcamp is fantastic. Helps to be creative when you arrive, because the pasture where you set up is at least a couple open acres and you can set up wherever. The animals are so fun and sweet. Sunrise and sunset are gorgeous. We’d love to stay here again! Thanks to the hosts!

It was so beautiful!! Having that open space, with the friendly and funny animals, was an experience we’ll always remember. My kids were totally obsessed. I felt so safe, and the property was so clean. The portapotties were very clean! They showed us where we could charge our external chargers. Seriously so glad this place exists. They’ve put a lot of work into making this a wonderful haven for these animals and to share it with us felt like such a gift.

Really enjoyed camping with Alpacas and lots of other farm animals too! The property has beautiful views of the Olympic mountains and the sunset was incredible. Rondi was very friendly and helpful and we even got to bottle feed a baby sheep! Highly recommend this place if you love animals and want a good jumping off spot for Olympic National Park.

Definitely an entertaining experience, but not quite what we expected. We needed a last minute place to camp and this was available. I do enjoy dispersed camping and don't require amenities, we just had a hard time locating drinking water. The field where you camp is open yet feels protected and has some nice scenery. We got in late and left early so never met the hosts. All in all, it wasn't quite worth the almost $80, but we're happy to support rescue animals.

This was an incredible experience! The land was beautiful with views of the mountains, and Rondi was very responsive and helpful with clear directions for us prior to and upon arrival. Our experience with the animals was the most special part of our stay- we were able to feed them some apple snacks as Rondi suggested and my 4 year old was absolutely over the moon that we got to put our tent in the pasture with all the llamas alpacas and sheep. We also loved getting to talk with a farm volunteer, Sandy, about some of the specific rescue stories and learn more about how the organization operates. THANK YOU!!

This was a fun and unique opportunity. It was low-key, the animals were friendly and we loved having them walk right past our tent. We were bummed to have just missed a baby alpaca birth, as we already left for the day, but loved that they hosts came looking for us to see if we wanted to come watch. The site is right by a grocery store and in town, even though it doesn’t seem like it. It is also very close to Olympic National Park, so it is very convenient, if you have u was to visit.

Rondi, her husband and the animals are such grounding forces! It was such a relief for my daughter and I as we live right in the heart of the busy city and desperately needed to rest and recuperate while there. We fed the alpacas, took naps, explored the property and neighborhood, made food at the picnic table that was provided and played frisbee! It really can’t get better than that! It was comforting to see how much Rondi and her husband really love their animals and it shows in all that they do. Rondi was gracious enough to tell me the back stories about the animals and educate us about the different types of sheep and alpacas they have there. One of the highlights was that my daughter got to care for baby lamb named Marylou who’d been rejected by her mother by feeding her straight from the bottle! I had a beautiful experience with a baby llama that was very curious about me and made it known by sniffing my face and making deep eye contact. Super magical! It was such a beautiful and lovely experience that I’d like to come back and volunteer my time. This organization is doing amazing healing work with the animals and it overflows out to those who come stay here. I support them whole heartedly! Thank you Rondi and Greg!

Awesome spot to camp. Very friendly host. Upon arrival, they gave us some lettuce to feed the animals and gave us a tour of the facilities. Very clean. Not too far of a drive from downtown pier area of Port Angeles or ONP. It was a surprise trip for my girlfriend’s birthday and she loved the interactions with all the animals and being able to feed them

My partner and I spent a magical night camping in a pasture surrounded by curious, hilarious alpacas—and we’re still smiling about it. Our host was incredibly welcoming, and the peaceful setting made it easy to unplug. Falling asleep to alpaca hums and waking up to fuzzy faces was pure joy. If you’re into nature, laughter, and a little bit of chaos courtesy of very opinionated alpacas—book this place immediately. Huge thanks to our host for sharing your land and your lovable herd. Such a wonderful and unique experience! We awoke in the morning to see alpacas grazing in the misty pasture and walked out to feed them apple slices after we had breakfast ourselves. Highly recommend. It was one of the highlights of our trip to the Olympic peninsula!

Ok... it's camping in an alpaca pasture. That's it. Everything you'd imagine one would find in an alpaca pasture is there. You're not far from anything in Port Angeles. Olympic National Park. Great restaurants nearby...and a friendly herd of alpacas.

This experience was a BLAST. The portapotties were unusually clean which was a nice surprise. The animals were so friendly and it was so fun waking up next to grazing alpacas! We will certainly be back —thank you Rondi!!

I really loved waking up to sheep and alpacas outside of our tent. Really nice that we were allowed to take our time checking out and feeding apples to the alpacas. Just a stone’s throw from Safeway, if you forgot anything (or don’t want to fire up a camp stove to make coffee). We did call/message to let them know when we coming (per instructions), but didn’t get a hold of anyone live. We got an auto-message with instructions and talked to other campers who said it was fine to just get set-up. Definitely plan to come back here. Great ambiance and great location.
