Learn more about this land: It sits upon a meadow with surrounding trees and a cow pasture in the distance. Spring time offers a small pond (please see below), but the Lewis river is close by with tons of recreational activities (swimming, fishing, hiking, wineries, etc.). There is only one site so there is a lot of privacy (there used to be two so some of the pictures show the older site right by the pond). It is a rural property with both farms AND residential homes/Airbnbs along the river and surrounding area. Town is not far (six miles) to get supplies and the Heisson convenience store is less than a mile away. Privacy is better here than at a public campground and it's perfect for a quick trip out of town for a day or two or just a quick and safe stop in your travels, or an extended stay. This is a beautiful property and I enjoy sharing it, please be mindful of the rules. *This winter was tough, lots of wind, so some trees fell, but they are all cleaned up and lots of small trees were planted. Can't wait until they grow to help for more privacy!!! Please, read the site description carefully! There is NO electricity or plumbing at the sites but there is a BPA safe hose for water at the top of the hill for your use (I usually have it on but if not please feel free to message me, and if you don't want to wait for a reply please feel free to knock on my door). The camp toilet (composting bucket with seat and lid) has a private tent, please be aware you must pack out your waste. This site can accommodate a large group, please see the prices when reserving. (It can fit up to five RVs but keep in mind it's dry camping and the RVs must have their own toilets.) I LOVE Dogs and they are most welcome, and may be off leash for a run in the field, however, they MUST have high recall. Please be mindful of my own dogs and chickens down below so please do not let them go beyond your site or the field when using. *We plan on making the pond to be a swim pond that will hold water all year long (the creek that runs into it is seasonal so it dries out depending on how much rain we get in any given year).This is a tent and/or pull-through RV site at the top of the hill of a wide open field for you to spread out. If you have a third RV, add another 2 additional people to the site and so forth up to five RVs total. Children are free. For tent campers: If you have more than two people and one car, the site will fit up to 15 people (and tents) and up to five cars total for additional costs; please indicate as such when reserving the site. Keep in mind, there is only one portable toilet so you may want to bring more if desired. Please stay within your site (dogs should be teathered unless using the field for a quick dog run or they stay within your area and have HIGH recall) and be mindful of sectioned off areas (to protect growing plants and trees). Thank you! There is a potable water hose at the top of the road next to the tree at the top of the road. It is usually on for you, but just in case it isn't you are welcome to text me. If you don't want to wait for a reply PLEASE feel free to knock on my door. I also have a portable shower I can lend you if needed, just ask.

Incredible little oasis in southern WA. We stopped in late on our way back home, and the clear instructions, great hospitality, and quiet grounds made for a perfect place to pitch a tent. We were unable to start a fire due to fire danger postings, but next time we roll in we will be prepared to use their adorable fire pit. Highly recommend!

This place was beautiful, but what really made it amazing were the owners. They are kind and hospitable. Anna brought us a basket of fruit from her garden when she met us. Our elder dog unfortunately passed on our trip and we had to skip a day to bring her home. Anna brought flowers and helped to lend some comfort to my children, and then offered to refund our trip. When I refused and assured her it wasn't necessary she still refunded a day. She and her husband are thoughtful and kind, and I couldn't recommend this hipcamp enough, if only to meet some truly wonderful people.

First of all, this felt like I was camping at my friends property. Anna was so nice. She met us at the street to help guide us in, she gave us produce from her garden, and she was responsive with our questions. The property is lovely. It is actually in a fairly residential area, but her house backs up to a field with woods on one side and another field on the other. The two camp sites are on opposite sides of the field, and while there is a direct line of sight between the two, they are far enough apart to allow for decent privacy. There are multiple recreational opportunities nearby, and Battle Ground has a lovely downtown with plenty of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Our host was so lovely to chat with and so kind! The property is gorgeous and Anna clearly takes great care of it. She is helpful and flexible, and we recommend her Hipcamp for anyone with little dogs who love to run around. There was another family staying the night and there was so much space for all of us, we barely even noticed!

Lovely quiet grounds with enough space in between spots to make it feel private. Love that my dog could run around off leash and the ground was nice and flat! Anna was gorgeous and couldn’t have done more for me I’m a new camper and recommend - I felt safe and relaxed!

Sara had a beautiful property that she takes very good care of! She was very nice and showed us her garden and told us about the work she is doing to make the camp spots even better in the future. The pond was dried up but was still a cute spot and lots of bee at work in the flowers in the pond. 🥰 also the chickens were very cute and friendly! The falls were very close and lovely. We would definitely recommend to others and we will be back.

My daughter and I took our dogs out to Anna's beautiful RV spot. The view was wonderful, very private, and peaceful. We knew going in there were no hookups and were prepared. She thoughtfully checked us in, ensuring we had everything we needed, assured us that she was right down the hill if we needed anything and had great advice on what to do in the area. There was one other camp spot being used, but far enough away that we did not disrupt each other. Very private, very FUN! We will definitely be back.

This campsite was beautiful and secluded. Everything was well thought out and organized and the communication with Anna was great! She was very attentive and made us feel at home. This is a great location and close to many scenic waterfalls in the area. We highly recommend!

Getaway for a senior pup 🐶

I went here so that my senior pup could enjoy his time in the meadow, and the watering holes/waterfalls nearby for a couple of days. Im am trying to give him as many wonderful experiences as I can with the time I have left, and Anne's place was absolutely perfect! He didn't want to leave. He loved laying in the meadow in the hills, with the rabbits, and just being out with nature. It made my soul happy to see his in such a place of peace. I would come here very day if I could. I highly recommend this place as it's extremely private (only 2 sites) and in a wonderful location. There is Lucas falls and Multon Falls right down the road. You can swim in the falls (jump off the rock into a deep pool) at Multon Falls, just 5 minutes down the road. The pond is dry right now at Ann's, instead it was a beautiful little meadow for flowers. Anne is a gem to talk to and has done some amazing work in creating this beautiful getaway in the hills. She deeply cares about the property as it's very well taken care of, the grass is freshly mowed, and she even replants trees that fall in the winter. Her heart and soul is in this place and you feel it when you're there. If you have senior pups, this is what I imagine when I picture life for them after the rainbow bridge. 🌈 100% recommend

Great, quiet spot! Although, we were a little surprised that we didn't have access to the river, which the listing seemed to imply. We also were disappointed that we had to coordinate timing to get to running water (when the listing noted potable water available). Other than this, we had a great time at the site. Big, beautiful field that was really quiet and a good mix of sun and shade.

Beautiful area and extremely nice host. Anna was very friendly and was nice enough to give us some advice about amenities in the area we could visit while there. The campsite is large enough to put out a large tent and keep the car close by, which makes unpacking easy and yet leaves enough area to spread out and lounge if desired. Packing out was mad easy and Anna made sure to provide enough supplies for our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here and I definitely plan on doing so again in the future.

Although this hipcamp is out of the way (a half hour from I-5), the area around there is beautiful, with the Lewis River and Lucia Falls nearby. The camping area is a grassy knoll, which was nice to set up our tent on, and water is available, though you have to give the host a half-hour notice. The toilet is a bucket in a small tent....hmmm... The host is very nice and the area is quiet, so we slept well.

Anna was a great host and very helpful getting us situated. The space (site 2) was super easy to get into and pretty level. Nice view of the surrounding valley. Site 2 is quite a walk to the toilet so best bring your own like I did. The construction on the adjacent properties started at 6am which was unfortunate. The bulldozers definitely made for a rude awakening but not the fault of the host. Inquire about it when booking to see if it’s been completed.

Anna’s spot is beautiful and spacious. We easily fit two tents with plenty of extra room and our location is so far from the other spot that we barely knew there was another campsite. Anna was really helpful - greeted us at the entrance, shared info about the site, getting wood for our fire, and what to do to access the water spigot. She even brought us some freshly cut lavender! If you’re looking the a beautiful sanctuary filled with a view of trees, wild flowers and a pond with the sound of birds chirping in the background, I highly recommend this spot. We’ll definitely be back.

I loved Anna’s land, it had a huge enough space to turn my 17 foot trailer around. We had a stunning view, loved how peaceful and quiet it was. Everything was exactly as the pictures. Directions were great found it easy. Anna kept in touch. I’d definitely be going back again.

100% recommend! Huge sprawling green hills (perfect for my dog to run off leash!) The area is beautifully maintained and little cottontail bunnies hop around the property. A field of adorable cows borders the property and provides an idyllic nature atmosphere. The owner, Anna, is the sweetest human ever; she made us feel SO welcomed. I can't wait to return!

Beautiful location with lots of space. Anna is very friendly and welcoming. The yard is very clean and tidy. The cows on the other side of the fence were definitely a treat. It is worth noting that it felt like camping right in someone’s backyard, which may not be everyone’s preference for camping as you can see homes around you. We made the best of it and have no complaints. We camped with a 17ft trailer and had more than enough space. I would probably book again for tent camping and try out the other space. The pond in development looks like it will be awesome! Overall a great trip

We camped on Anna’s property with our 20 ft camper van and it was great! Beautiful property close to a cute little town. It was peaceful and just what we were looking for! And Anna was super sweet! Would definitely recommend.

Anna was very nice and super accommodating! The campsite was nice, but the dam on the creek with the “pond” was a little weird and stagnant, so it was stinky and had bugs. It was nearly dried up by early June. Lots of bunnies running the property too
