Valerie was a great hostess. She greeted us with a packet of info about the area and guided us to our spot. Site is near the main house but has privacy. Power & water, garbage & recycling bins, picnic table, and a seating area to take in the red barn view. A path thru the woods behind the site led to another seating area to take in the sunset…and pups loved the path too.

Valerie was very welcoming & provided lots of info of things to do in the area. Site was shaded & flat grass with easy access to 30 amp power & water. Near Valerie’s home but still lots of privacy. Nice picnic table. Garbage can & recycle bins convenient. Plenty of seating areas around the property to take in the views. Nice little trail thru the woods for our 2 small dogs.

Beautiful countryside setting, and very welcoming host.
The place is very safe, clean and well maintained, and enjoyable.
Valerie gave some toys to our kids to play outside which was very nice.

The perfect little spot for setting up our 17’ Bigfoot trailer! Cozy and quiet in a beautifully serene farmland setting. Easy drive thru set up with conveniently placed hookups. You have a secluded little spot in a treed corner of the property; with room to set up your own private camp. Valerie was wonderful! Super friendly & accommodating. Very responsive. Helpful with local ideas. Such a great experience! We’ll definitely be back!

Cozy little spot just off the side of the host’s house. Very quiet, lots of shade. Valerie was a great host. Came out to greet us and offered suggestions on things to do, places to eat near Sequim. Would recommend!

I enjoyed the peace and quiet immensely. Beautiful grounds and pastoral views! I didn't make time for the trails but they look enticing. Valerie is the host and she's a gem. Very professional in handling the set up... personable and easy to talk to. I felt well cared for!!

The campsite on Valerie’s land was just as advertised. The space has an electric hook-up and non-potable water. The lot was level and easy to park our trailer. Included were two deck chairs and a picnic table. The area is nice and quiet, being situated in a rural neighbourhood. Garbage and recycling cans were provided. The red barn, located across the street, is a lovely view. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to meet Valerie during our 3 night stay.

We had the most wonderfully relaxing time at Valerie's! Plenty of privacy, 30 amp electric and water hook-ups. It was fairly level, we use the blocks everywhere anyway so no big deal. There was a good mixture of shade and open skies, so our solar and starlink worked great. It was so quiet, the stars were bright despite the smoke-filled skies, and she had multiple, comfortable areas set up for whatever we wanted to do. We didn't use the grill, but it looked like a great spot for a low-key party. Our dog appreciated getting to play fetch in the front yard and Valerie herself is a very interesting woman to share a conversation with. Stay at the red barn view, you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful place to relax. Close to multiple Lavender farms, Suggest the drive to Hama Hama Oyster Saloon along the Hood Canal. A little over an hour to Hurricane Ridge. Love the Olympic Peninsula.

What a special place Valerie has. The view and peaceful surroundings were just what we were hoping for. She was very helpful and accommodating and great with communication. We have a large coach and it was no trouble getting in and out of the site. We will definitely look Valerie up next time we are up in the area!

What a great place to camp. It was super quiet and exactly what I needed. I have a 20ft van and the spot was perfectly level and provided some great shade. Water and 30amp electric was an amazing find. The hostess was amazing. She gave me some really good recommendations on what to go see. AT&T was 2 bars, but I mainly used my starlink as I had to work. Do not think twice before booking here. This was my first Hipcamp stay and I would definitely come back again.

Valerie’s place is very quiet and peaceful! It’s also surrounded by beautiful farmland and mountains. She was extremely helpful making sure we found the place and got set up easily in our site. We only booked a spot with water hookup, but were allowed to use one with electrical hookups since it was unoccupied. This place is a great basecamp for hiking in the area as well as checking out the restaurants and shops in the nearby town. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Valerie has done a great job carving out a quiet, convenient and peaceful campsite. She’s very welcoming and was full of tips on what to do locally. We stayed for 3 nights. I needed to work remotely for a day and was glad to easily find a good spot for my starlink. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay here! It was as other reviewers mentioned off the driveway but we didn’t find that to be an issue. It was still pretty private - especially compared to a full campground and Valerie was great to work with.

Loved the site! The view was incredible and we were far enough from the highway we couldn’t hear any traffic. Valerie was incredibly friendly and accommodating. RV water and power hookups worked great and were conveniently located.
Sequim Bay state park is only a mile or so away and with it, convenient access to the Olympic Discovery Bike Trail.

Stayed for a week and really enjoyed Val's place. Getting in and out of the property with a 26' trailer was easy since the camp area is a circle. Site was level with conveniently located power and water. The street that Val lives on is very scenic with little traffic. Perfect for daily walks or runs. Its also easy to get to the discovery trail. Really is a great base camp location for seeing the sights around the Olympics. Will stay again.
[Tip] To get to the discovery trail on food or bike you can use an underground pedestrian tunnel that goes under 101. Just go to the end of Louella Rd where it meets 101 and instead of crossing 101 just walk/bike north on the left side of a white garage (park owned), thru a path in the trees, and accross the baseball fields.
