Just minutes away, you’ll find some of the region’s most stunning natural wonders: the Hoh Rainforest, Sol Duc Hot Springs, and Olympic Hot Springs are all within a short drive. Lake Crescent, East Beach, and the incredible Devil’s Punch Bowl are about 10 minutes away, while Crescent Beach, Salt Creek Beach, and Whiskey Creek Beach are only 15 minutes from camp. The mouth of the Lyre River flows right alongside our beach — just a short walk from where you’ll be staying. The nearby Elwha River and surrounding recreation areas provide endless opportunities for fishing, kayaking, or hiking. Or, simply relax and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves and the panoramic views of the Canadian coast across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Surfing: Our coastline is also one of the hidden gems for local surfers. With consistent waves rolling in across the Strait and nearby spots like Low Point, this area draws surfers year-round who love its peaceful vibe and uncrowded waters. Whether you’re an experienced surfer chasing the perfect swell or just want to watch the locals carve the waves at sunset, it’s an unforgettable part of the beach experience here. Conveniently located just 20 minutes west of Port Angeles, WA, our peaceful, private property offers a truly secluded experience — one road in, one road out, and a beach all your own. We’re located next to the popular Lyre River Campground, a well-loved destination for surfers, anglers, and paddlers. Fish right from shore, explore the tidepools at low tide when the beach stretches nearly a sixteenth of a mile out, or join one of our kayak or small-boat outings. The land itself is a nature lover’s paradise — bordered by Feilding and Neilson Creeks, perfect for gold panning or rock hunting for fossils and agates. Wildlife is abundant, with bald eagles, ospreys, hawks, kingfishers, geese, and other seabirds soaring above, while deer and elk often wander through the area.
