A great camp site! Very secluded but still very close to everything. The bathroom was great and the kids loved the nature!
A few things to note: ensure you actually type in the address if you click open in maps it takes you to the wrong location. Also there is a slight walk from the car to the campsites.

Jenniffer was such a friendly host! We arrived, were greeted promptly, and got led to our campsite. The campsite had a ton of space and we comfortably fit 2 two-person tents. There's no table included so I would plan for that. A huge bonus is having access to a clean bathroom with a shower.
Jenniffer also makes some cool products and I bought a strawberry-scented soap that I'm enjoying!

Great vibe and the spots are nice! Lots of berry bushes around the birds are abundant. No road noise and was really a nice experiance A little pricy but I Would go back

This was so great! The hosts were accommodating and made sure that we had access to all of the amenities when we arrived. The fully renovated bathroom was clean and inviting, especially with the heated floors. This will be our first pick next time we are in the area!

I came here in Dec 2023 for access to a nice indoor shower, and theirs did not disappoint. The very clean and tastefully decorated bathroom is part of their house structure, but with an exterior entrance, so access is easy and private. The heated floor was a special treat.
When I arrived I was greeted by Jennifer's husband Chad, he and I had a nice conversation which enriched my stay.
A minor pain point for me was that I think someone must have been smoking inside the house: a slight smell is noticeable in the bathroom if you have a very sensitive nose as I do. While unpleasant for me, this was tolerable, so I could still enjoy my use of the shower and sink and toilet without feeling uncomfortable or rushed. Fortunately there were no synthetic perfumes or "air fresheners" which I experience as being much worse -- some places use those to mask a smell, and I'm glad that was not the case here. Jennifer said this situation was an uncommon occurrence and she would work to ensure it won't be a problem for future guests.

Very friendly and accommodating hosts! We loved that our campsite felt secluded and had space enough for two tents. The bathroom was a big plus! The animal noises at night were really awesome…especially the owls! We liked that the campsite was close to both Deception Pass and Fort Ebey, and also convenient to Oak Harbor. We will return next time we come to Whidbey!

Excellent location in the magical forest! Nice and secluded, plenty of room, and a nice fire pit with a grill for cooking.
The bathroom that was accessible was lovely, very clean and well kept, with a shower as well! And wifi, what a bonus :)
We would definitely visit again, highly recommended!

Jennifer was really nice and the campsite was perfect for our one night stay while climbing in the area. It was really nice to have a flush toilet and running water on site. Our campsite was close to the road so keep that in mind when booking but noise wasn’t bad at night.

Okay hear me out, this place has a legit bathroom!!! Really nice bathroom!!!! The ground here is loamy and soft and made for my best nights’ sleep. The woods really do feel magical. The campsite I chose is by the street which is only slightly annoying, and at night I did not hear any traffic. The other campsites farther back have a more campground like setting. To get water or dispose of trash, you do have to walk over to the house, but this is totally worth it for the bathroom as well as the charging station. There were two chairs in my campsite, as well as a fire pit and every site, although due to the fire ban, I did not burn anything. If you want to stroke up a conversation the owners are around to talk.

Jenniffer and her family are friendly and generous hosts. You're definitely right in their backyard, which is awesome if you bring kids who are new to camping (there's a real bathroom and plenty of toys to play with) but might not suit folks who want a more woodsy/remote experience. Our preschooler had a blast, and we appreciated how well Jenniffer communicated with us and answered our questions. Easy access to the beach, groceries, and lovely views.

Overall this was a beautiful site, and the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, I just didn’t realize that it was in someone’s yard. This site was spaced away from the others which was nice, but that also meant that it was a fair trek to get to the bathroom which was inside of their house (with an exterior access door). This makes it a challenge for someone with mobility issues which I had in my group. I would definitely stay here again, but I’d be aware of this concern if traveling with someone with mobility issues.

Super nice and caring hosts. You will feel welcome and well cared for. Love that it’s close to Deception pass and Oak Harbor. Lots to do in a short drive. The camping area was well maintained and it was super nice to have a very clean bathroom to use while camping!

Cute little tent spot in the trees w/ fire pit and chairs, very cozy. You are close to a county road so not a ton of traffic but expect to hear a few cars. Access to a nice bathroom with great shower pressure was very welcome after several nights of camping. Super close to Oak Harbor and Coupeville.

We really enjoyed our wooded campsite, and having access to a bathroom with shower was key for the teen! Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and Jenniffer was awesome about responding to messages.

This place truly has a magikal feel. Jenniffer was very sweet. Cell phone signal if that matters to you wasn't great BUT there is wifi and a bathroom with a shower. The first night I woke up surprised I had slept so well because usually while camping I do not. As others have stated there isn't a lot of privacy but I don't feel like it's worse than an actual campground or anything. I will be adding this location to my favorites I've visited.

The tent site was great, very private. It was a short walk from the car down a little trail, nestled in the woods, full shade. If you want sun, no problem. You have full use of the backyard. Especially nice was having access to a regular bathroom with a shower.

Jenniffer was a kind and welcoming host who had clearly put a lot of thought into her sites. We didn't realize there was a full bathroom available to us to that was a bonus! I was hesitant because our site was close to the road, but honestly I didn't hear anything. She was also very accommodating. We had a wonderful weekend!

Praktical Magic was a lovely place to camp. TheJennifee and Chad (hosts) were friendly, accommodating and ensured that we had a great time. The bathroom is very nice and includes a beautiful tile shower. There are lots of toys for the kids, hammock and even telescope for stargazing. There is even a funky likely shop on sight with sundries like soap, incense, and candy. Highly recommend!

Hosts were super friendly and accommodated us wanting a more secluded spot due to having an infant with us. Beautiful area too! The ground was a bit uneven at our site, but that was only a small issue. Fire pit was great and wood was waiting for us there. Altogether, we had a great stay!

The campsite we got was extremely private. Even our little dog could roam without having to worry about him. It was great to have access to a clean bathroom and shower to clean up. Jennifer was right there to greet us. Directed us where we can park and set up camp and asked if we needed anything. We are simple campers, so having her let us camp on her property was just what we wanted so close to the state park. No complaints. It fulfilled what we needed.

This is a lovely and clean accommodation close to the beach and within driving distance of some great parks. Although, I chose to stay at the site all weekend to relax among the trees and spend time with my friend around the fire pit roasting marshmallows! The hosts went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

The hosts are very friendly and kind. The sites are good size. I think I was in spot #2, we could see right into spot #3, but it worked out fine. My dogs were happy there and loved the scents of the forest. We'll come back again!

Jennifer’s place is absolutely wonderful. The tent sites are cozy and completely shaded. The fire pits are concrete and super easy to use. Dogs are welcome and abundant. The bathroom is warm and clean. It was a serious delight to stay there. We ended up having to leave early for other reasons, but we would definitely stay there again. The owners are fans of the Chicago Bears which makes this place extra badass. Bravo

Nice site! Jenniffer and her husband were really warm, welcoming, and communicative. They took good care of us. It was so nice to have access to a hammock and a real bathroom when camping. They are still figuring things out with their campsites but are really open to feedback. I think this place would be great for groups or families. We loved it when it was just our crew but there was not a ton of privacy between our site and the next one. The second night of our trip a lot more people arrived and it seemed like more of a party environment than the quiet time we were looking for. Both hosts were really kind and apologetic. This will definitely be a place I visit in the future if I am looking for a space to camp with a large group.
