The glamping dome was everything I hoped it would be, and more. Sheila was quick to reply to any questions and genuinely cared about my comfort. The dome was stocked with everything I needed. Thank you for making my birthday weekend so special!

This is a beautiful spot and a great base for visiting the national park! The indoor and outdoor amenities were great - we appreciated the snacks, ample resources for cooking, and many options for getting warm (2 electric heaters, hot tub, wood fire stove, and outdoor fire pit). You can see the small road from the dome and hear a bit of highway noise, so it's not fully isolated, but that also makes it quick to get back onto the road to head to the trailhead (it took us about 1 hour to get to the Maple Pass Loop). We also checked out the Barr Creek conservation area about 0.25 miles up the road, which has a very pretty little loop trail.

BRING BUG REPELLANT
Hands down my favorite Hipcamp yet! Gorgeous location, top notch amenities (outdoor cooking area, shower, toilet, fire pit, hot tub + dreamy dome), and a very responsive and supportive host. This spot made me and my partner feel like our dreams of getting away from the city are even more attainable. Will definitely be coming back!
Note: my partner and I are scent sensitive (fragrances make us sick) and this place was scent free minus what I’m assuming is cedar from the wood used to build - no chemical scents or fragrances! *we brought our own soap and dish soap so I can’t speak to what was in the meyers cleaning bottles (usually *very* fragranced).

We had a great time glamping for the first time at Sheila's dome! Loved the personal note and bottle of wine from Sheila upon our arrival and how responsive she was for any of our questions. The place is super unique and has everything you could ask for: electricity, wifi, appliances, propane grill, hot tub, HOT water for showering, clean toilet (compost), wood for the wood burning furnace, and space heaters. If you forget any groceries, Red Apple is about 15 minutes away by car. It got chilly at night but there was plenty of blankets and we turned on the space heater for warmth. During our stay, we explored Rockport State Park, Barr Creek conservation area, Diablo Lake, and the North Cascades Visitor Center. We highly recommend staying here!

We stayed at the glamping spot for a weekend, and absolutely loved it. The location is very private, and surrounded by trees making is very cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the comforter was soft kept us warm during the night. The place is well stocked with blankets, utensils, spices, slippers and bathroom necessities. The host even left us some snacks, smores kit and a bottle of wine and a hand written note welcoming us, which was so very kind and generous. The space heaters came in handy when we didn’t want to use the wood fire.
The outdoor grill and gas stove were clean as well, and easy to use. The fridge is small, but it is sufficient for 3-4 day trip. The hot tub was clean, and the outdoor shower next to it helped rinse off before and after hot tub. The outhouse/toilet was clean as well, and its about -10 ft from the tent. The outdoor grill and hot tub are covered with umbrellas so you dont get wet if it rains.
There are a couple of restaurants, a coffee shop and a convenience store 10 min drive from the unit if you don’t want to cook yourself. It is close enough to North Cascades national park, and we drove to Lake Diablo which was magical!

Location was very easy to find and instructions were all very clear. Lots of great trails and parks near by. Dome was secure and warm throughout the night. Plenty of space for two and we liked having appliances. Hot tub was a nice touch. Loved that we were allowed to bring our pup.

This place truly was the highlight of our little getaway to the North Cascades. The dome was such a fun magical experience and the hosts go out of their way to make sure the space reflects that. Amenities are endless, it is quiet and serene with so much to do in the nearby area. We did a lot of cooking in the space and with multiple options like the grill, stovetop burner, mini fridge, and fire pit… the opportunities are endless! We would go again in a heartbeat! You will have a great time ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our glamping experience!! It’s hard to find pet friendly spaces so that’s always a plus for us!! Sheila was very responsive with anything that arose. Perfectly remote, but close enough if you forget anything. We LOVED getting to jot down the road and be in the cascades! Beautiful greenery, cozy bed, nice amenities!

Beautiful, conveniently located glamp. Super comfortable and cozy with almost everything you need. Bring an ax to make kindling for your fire (plenty of fire wood available) and some spices. The only other thing missing was a visit from the local dogs. Haha. Everything else was perfect!

Let’s start with the positives! The concept of this place is great. Jordan and her husband have put a lot of thought into making Eldorado a comfortable place to relax and restore. The bed is comfy, the dome has good ventilation and air circulation, and there are multiple seating groups outside for hanging out. The hot tub is a huge bonus. They’ve provided just about any amenity (cookware, grill, pit toilet, shower, other food prep appliances, WiFi on request, etc) that you could possibly need for glamping. On top of that, Jordan was very responsive and her husband was very kind - both very helpful.
The only real downside for me falls in the category of how much nature I really wanted to experience. This is a not-fully-sealed dome in the woods, which meant that there were spiders, crickets, and some kind of centipede type thing in the dome. Some people may be fine with that, and some may not be - just something to be aware of. If there were any way to better seal the dome to keep the critters out, and any way to provide hot water at the shower, I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great spot for a get away for couples. Great amenities! Though I couldn’t get the wifi or water to work (probably user error, but didn’t see any directions). Hot tub and fire pit were perfect, dome was cozy, would recommend!

What a gem! This private dome was very relaxing. The property is within sight of the road, bur very quiet both day and night. We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. There was a white dog that visited from the neighbors that seemed friendly, but we didn't want him around our pups. We also couldn't figure out how to operate the hot water on the shower, but always down for a cold plunge after a refreshing hot tub soak! The dome is magical and would live to come back in the winter. Make sure to check out the waterfall (vety inpressive btw) past the A frame (easy, short hike) or a hiking trail down the road. Close to the national park, hiking and fishing. Jordan was very responsive and answered our questions. Enjoy!

Eldorado Glamping
We loved clamping in Jordan's land! The tent was cozy and spacious and all the amenities were great. We especially enjoyed spending time in the jacuzzi and the little hike to the waterfall.

We had an amazing time here! Location is great, the site feels private, the hot tub was a huge plus especially since we were early in the season, and our Golden Retriever has the time of his life! We will be back!

The dome was perfect, fireplace kept us warm and cozy. Hot tub was great for relaxing and no camping gear was needed 👌. Lots of cozy seating areas and although the rain kept us inside the fireplace was inviting and well stocked

We had a great stay. Photos don’t do it justice. It’s well appointed and comfortable. We loved having the hot tub. Lots of friendly dog buddies who come to visit. Which we loved. Hosts were hands off and also helpful when needed. Would for sure stay here again.

This place is a dream! Comfy bed, the dome is SO cool, and DID YOU SEE THAT THERE YA A HOT TUB?! Jordan and his fam go out of their way to provide everything you might need (I mean truly, there are TWO KINDS of coffee maker in the dome!) - they even half-started the fire in the pit for us before we arrived so the logs were nice and ready. Also some of their 5 dogs might come visit you and they are the sweetest. I love giving my money to people who rescue dogs!
We took the 40 minute drive up to the Baker Lake trailhead and did about 5 miles of that gorgeous hike. Got totally soaked with rain on our way back to the car and we were so happy to have the hot tub and covered grill area to come back to rather than having to make a fire!
We'll be back here for sure!

This spot is magic. So cozy! The done itself is set up so stylish, but then on top if it theres a whole outdoor kitchen and hot tub. We loooooved it there and would return any day! Hearing the rain hit the dome was so wonderful.

Amazing stay, would definitely want to come back. Great amenities with the bed, hot tub, grill, firewood, etc. Puppies roaming around got along super well with my dog and we’re adorable.

El Dorado Glamping was dreamy. The hosts did an incredible job of equipping the camp with everything from a bottle of wine to s’mores. The hot tub was nice after a day of hiking in the northern cascades. What a wonderful experience I would definitely do it again. Thanks Jordan!
