The motel began in 1953 when the original owner came home from the war, he built 6 rooms and called the Sand Lo Motel after the beach he landed on during the war. A few years later, the story goes... that he went to Reno and struck a win, returning home to build 4 more rooms onto his motel. I am not sure of the timing on when the RV Park was added, but I do know that the RV Park got a remodel about 10 years ago now. Our park has wide sites, you will have plenty of room to put your slides out, if you have them.
