DeAnn is simply amazing and so is her gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 story cabin! I highly recommend this place to everyone who loves being outdoors or in, with a spectacular view of the mountains and a creek on the property! We absolutely loved the wood burning fireplace that warmed both stories perfectly! The couch is super comfortable and it reclines as well! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and if it’s not there, you can run to the store 10 minutes away or DeAnn might even offer it to you if you ask! She is honestly the sweetest, generous, kind, friendly woman I’ve met in a long time! She makes you feel at home in every way! My kids and best friend can’t wait to go back, we miss it so much already, 2 days wasn’t enough at all! Thank you, DeAnn for being the nicest person on earth, and for blessing us with a super late check out for my son’s 21st birthday! We can’t wait to see you again and look forward to the hike down to the creek together again, what an amazing memory!

De Ann’s property was such a beautiful place, we had such a great time chatting with her about the land and exploring it. Her Cabin was so beautiful with such an incredible view. We truly had one of the most relaxing stays here.

Mountain View Cabin
A wonderful stay. The site is gorgeous. There's a really nice mountain scenery that can be enjoyed directly from the comfort of the living room. There's a wood stove that creates a great atmosphere and helps keeps the cabin very warm. As a bonus, theres plenty of wood to chop outside if you'd like to try that. (There's also already chopped wood so it's not necessary to do it). De Ann was a wonderful host and stopped by to say hi. She was very accommodating to our schedule too.

I was at the Mountain retreat with my daughter and 12-year-old grandson. We were all awed by the home, the views, and the sense of beauty. DeAnn made sure we were settled in and let us know she was available quickly if we needed her help.
This home provided just what we needed. We had space for our alone times, great cooking and eating together times, and space to hang out together.

Such a beautiful cabin, we stayed there with our in laws in the fall and it was so cozy. The view is stunning and so much space for our dogs to run around and play! Loved the wood burning stove, kept the place so toasty and with the rain it was such a vibe. Would absolutely be back! The host was so kind and responsive as well- she lended us whatever we needed and helped us get the fire going in the cabin.

Our trip was exceptional :) We booked the Bell Tent very last minute and DeAnn was still incredibly accommodating. We arrived to a clean, well-kept site (and well-stocked, there’s dry firewood for sale if you need). DeAnn made sure to show us around her beautiful property and also gave us helpful tips on how to get down to the creek and where else to explore. The property is huge, and while the owners are on-site it still feels very secluded and private. The views of the mountains were incredible, the creek nearby (if you don’t mind getting muddy) was a fun walk away and was so vibrant! Also, the outhouse was much more convenient than expected :) DeAnn has thoroughly thought out how she hosts and the results are evident. If you book here, expect a private and comfortable experience!

The site had a great view of the cascade mountains. A few things to consider are that the tent already setup in the nicest site (with respect to the view) was very big (could easily sleep 6-8 people). The other thing was the roads getting there and back do get somewhat challenging to maneuver; there’s not really much space around the site to turn around as it’s perched on the side of a fairly steep hill. There’s a stream but it’s down in a valley and it wasn’t made clear to me whether there was a safe way to get to it. My favorite amenities included that the campsite is an off-leash dog area and the outdoor stove and fire areas were setup nicely.

We absolutely loved this property. De Ann was a fantastic host and quickly responded to any questions we had. The view at this cabin is amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. I enjoyed being able to have a fire outside and just take in all the natural beauty. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

DeAnn has such a beautiful piece of land, we really enjoyed our time there! She met us upon arrival and since we were the only campers (she has a few sites on her property) she gave us a full tour and upgraded our stay to the yurt site too- highly recommend! The views are spectacular, it’s secluded and peaceful and each site has an ample amount of privacy. There is an adrenaline pumping hike down to the creek, so fun! The yurt site has running water too which was a nice touch. Loved spending time with the doggies that were visiting there! Close to some beautiful hiking trails as well.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The large tent was so great and made it so much easier to get set up for the night. DeAnn was warm and welcoming, showed us around and was a delight to chat with. We will definitely be back and are excited to see how this camping oasis grows and expands in the coming years.

Great weekend with our teens and our pup at DeAnn’s cabin. The first night we fell asleep to the sound of rain on the skylights and slept with the windows cracked. It was phenomenal! DeAnn’s cabin has everything one could need for a long weekend. We cooked and baked in the kitchen and had campfires for smores. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway while still being close enough to grab any groceries you may have forgotten this is the place. Looking forward to our next stay!

We loved camping at DeAnn's property. She was so welcoming and greated us right when we arrived and showed us the way to our site even in the pouring rain. She even upgraded our site for the weekend since some others canceled their site for the weekend so that awesome! And she provided us with dry wood for a campfire. Would highly recommend staying here 😊

We had a nice relaxing time at the Cabin. Beautiful view from every window! The cabin was clean and comfy and it had everything we needed for our last minute getaway. DeAnn (the host) was really friendly and she even brought us some blackberries she had just picked. Yum!

The site and DeAnn were wonderful; unique and spacious yurt-like tent that requires no set up, campfire with access to running water and firewood, nice picnic table, clean outhouse. The mountain view (I think Whitehorse mountain?) was stunning. Small dog on premise Frkie was adorable and friendly. Do note, access to the site was fairly steep and a car with 4x4 was nice to have. If you are adventurous, do check out the stream down the hill accessible via rope and ladder for a private spa experience. All in all, a fantastic retreat from the city. Highly recommend. We will be back in the near future.

This is a wonderful campsite, with great views! The tent is spacious but cozy, and the campsite has water and a composting toilet, along with a picnic bench and grill. I highly recommend taking the trail down to the creek, though the trail is an adventure, because the views are great, it feels like the middle of nowhere, and there's even a swimming hole! I definitely would stay here again.

Ann's property was a great place for our retreat. We were fourteen people, each with our own tent, and there was room for everyone even more, the view of the mountain is amazing in the mornings and a very peaceful creek just a fewminutes from camping site. Ann was very attentive to us. Upon our arrival, she showed us the place and then disappeared so we could enjoy our stay.
Great place!!
Although it is better if you bring your 4x4 vehicle.

DeAnn's cabin was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway outside of Seattle. Great views, cute and cozy! Felt right at home. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen, great communication and the setting (far enough to enjoy vacation in nature, close enough to make a run to the store in town). Thankful to be able to bring our dogs and grateful for the firepit (didn't have time to use it but loved the option!).

DeAnn was very communicative and friendly. She met us when we arrived and walked us down to the site. It's definitely steep but totally doable if you have 4x4. The site is quaint, a little rugged and has a table, fire pit, trash can and water jug with an electronic dispenser (which was a nice touch). We had a lovely night looking at the stars. And it was our first camping trip with our 1yr old and it all went well! DeAnn was nice enough to message us later that night to offer the main cabin on the property if we needed a bed or other accommodation in the middle of the night.
There's a 'hike' down to the creek but it's very steep and loose in parts. If you're up for the adventure, it would be a great way to see the forest and there's even a little watering hole down there. Come prepared, it's definitely not a 'walk in the park'.
You are a little close to the yurt site and while we could hear our neighbors, it was pretty faint and not an issue at all. Probably like most Hipcamps with multiple sites.
And if you time your trip right, there are blackberry bushes galore! We even had some thimbleberries.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Clear Light Valley Retreat! DeAnn was a fantastic host, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The kids, especially, loved playing in the on-site tent, and they had endless fun exploring the property. The views were breathtaking, and the lake was truly amazing—perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of nature. We would be delighted to return again. Highly recommend this beautiful spot!

A beautiful mountainside cabin with a view of Whitehorse Mountain and Three Fingers. The two picture windows made it a perfect weekend staring out at the sunrise and the blushing mountains as the sun sets.
Upon arrival, per the host’s suggestion, we took a walk down the hill to the stream that runs through the property. And we found if you climb up the stream a little bit, you will find a waterfall. It was a perfect kick off to the weekend. Then we closed on the evening with a fire in the campfire ring.
Overall, a perfect cabin that has found a way to bring the outdoors inside with the wood tones, live edge counter tops and large picture windows.
