Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay that’s both close to town and tucked into the countryside.A Night at Sylvanside Farm
Settle in for a peaceful evening on our historic farm, where rolling pastures meet quiet woodlands. After parking your RV or settling into your cabin, wander down to meet our gentle Clydesdales, who often graze near the barns and paddocks. Their size and calm presence set the tone for your stay—unhurried and rooted in the rhythm of the countryside.
As the sun dips, pour yourself a glass of Virginia wine and make your way to the pond deck. Watch the last light glint across the water while fireflies spark the fields and the sounds of the evening settle in. Keep your eyes open—bald eagles, hawks, and bluebirds are often spotted soaring overhead or perched in the treetops along the woods’ edge.
When darkness falls, the true magic begins: a sky filled with stars, unmarred by city lights. Whether you choose to sit quietly by the fire pit or wander into the meadow, you’ll feel surrounded by silence and privacy—just you, the night, and the sounds of nature.
In the morning, wake to birdsong, fresh air, and the peaceful pace of farm life. At Sylvanside, you’ll find not just a place to stay, but a place to breathe deeply, reconnect with nature, and soak in the beauty of Virginia’s horse and wine country.
