Rustic** City Escape (Safety Iffy)
This private campground is in a lovely location, although it may be more known/orientated and booked from younger, and immature campers, whom hoarded the kayaks for our entire trip, keeping them on their site without them being in use.
The campsites are spacious, my group stayed at bears cove-great place to catch a sunset. I would recommend the landing and the penensula site as top choices. Our campsite was poorly maintained and had loads of widow makers and hazard trees. Had a storm came through on our trip, we would have been in quite the precarious/ dangerous situation to be in. Although the sites were quite close, it was just fine.
Overall it was a nice trip, although this site is truly more for city folk looking to escape and if one doesnt mind the rustic feel. The animals were super friendly and the fishing although not the best, had some nice sized blue gills.
