Welcome to our private little seven campsite mountain hideaway. Minutes from Virginia Tech, Radford University, I-81, eateries (Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday, Pizza Inn, McDonalds, Wendy’s, Starbucks, Dunkin, Hardee’s & Subway) Experience some local spots: The Iron Tree Brewery Mountain Lake The Huckleberry Trail Virginia Tech Football The New River Claytor Lake & State Park Dixie Caverns The Cascades Jefferson National Forest. We welcome you to stay a night, a weekend or longer time. Onsite personnel if you need a hand. Or a great recommendation. Water, sewer & 30/50 amp electricity hook up at each site. Level sites, ample parking and easy navigation around the campground. We look forward to meeting you!

Deer Run (Site 1)

Our most private site on the hill, Site 1. This level site accommodates up to a 45 ft camper. It offers a concrete slab, lots of yard and privacy. Roll out the awning, pull up a chair and prepare for the evening deer to roam near your site. Ample parking and well lit!

Stuck in the Middle w/ You (Site 5)
Nice small rv park with a few sites. Host was incredibly accommodating start to finish. Deer walking by the camper each morning and chickens in the coop behind. Recommend 4x4 for drive up to the top of the property. Great location with the hookups we needed. Even was able to score some fresh eggs from Pop while he was tending his birds. Thank You!!

We had a wonderful stay at Hideout on the Hill. Great communications with the host throughout and the site was fantastic. It is a nice quiet place to relax while being close to everything. We can't wait to visit again!

We really appreciated the personal touch with this no frills Hideaway on the Hill. Mike texted and called to make sure we had the directions straight, and was waiting to help us when we arrived. There is full hook up, and very close to VA Tech. We will stay there again.

We needed an overnight stay off 81 as we were traveling south. This is super close to the Highway. The people were super friendly and very helpful. It’s a steep driveway up to the property. Great for a quick stop over

Stuck in the Middle w/ You (Site 5)
Nice spot just off the highway that was perfect for our overnight on the way home to TN! Thanks for having us! Very communicative and helped guide us in to our dedicated spot up the steep hill!
