Come camp with the famous hairy coos (Highland Cows) at Frye Family Farms only 30 minutes from Smith Mountain Lake!!! We are a fully regenerative farm and currently have pigs, Highland Cows, Lowline Angus, and 30 hens!! From June- October, we have a flower farm and when our hens are laying, you are able to pick your own eggs, etc. Our sweet Highland Cow Maple loves pets, treats and her photo being taken!!!
The ultimate farm stay!! Bring you camper, van, tents or cowboy camp on the farm!!! We have built in fire pits, water hookups, farm animals, small creek, clear skies at nights & close to the lake (20 minute to Penhook boat launch)! The view is mainly pasture with some rolling hills. You will be parking in a grassy area. We have multiple sites on property but this particular site is next to two tiny homes so please know there may be other guests! If you would prefer to be away from the tiny homes, we have another site but is only accessible by tent camping or van camping.
