Refreshing riverside retreat with tent sites, RV/camper parking, and tiny house cabin on over 5 acres, featuring sunny meadows, veggie garden plot, 4-wheeler paths, and seasonal direct access to snowmobile trails. The property is perfectly nestled near the Green Mountains and the White Mountains, with a swimming hole and river fishing available right in the backyard. Bike trails, walking trails and stunning motorcycle routes are all at your fingertips from the property. Village amenities, such as groceries, bike shops, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and laundromat are all in walking distance (about 1 mile or less). Lake St. Catherine State Park (hot showers here) and Lake Bomoseen and others are close by for fun park activities. Visit a local winery (Whaleback Vineyard), see how maple syrup is made (Thrall Road Maple), shop the neighboring farm stands for local eggs, produce and baked goods. Close regional access to hunting, skiing, snowboarding. Leaf peeping season is here at the riverside retreat! The leaves are turning such lovely colors around here right now. Blackberries and fiddleheads on the property! In the fall, feel free to collect crab apples from our 100+ year old former orchard. *When in season. New additions: 6-seater triple hammock stand with built in picnic table. Fire pits and hammocks now at all sites! Tent sites can accommodate multiple tents, for group camping. Multiple fields available for yard games. Can accommodate parties and celebrations. 10’x10’ or 10’x20’ pop up shade tents available to rent upon request (with or without sidewalls). Excellent site for photo shoots, glamping, stargazing, sunbathing, leaf peeping, bachelor/ette parties. Want us to stock a cooler for you? Charcuterie, snacks, meals, beverages, etc. available upon request, customizable to your dietary preferences. Coming with a special guest? We can also provide flowers, sweet treats, custom greeting cards, etc.

Lovely tent site in a flat meadow clearing alongside the Poultney River. Easy access to the Poultney River Loop and the Slate Valley Trail system for walking and cycling; over 60 miles of trails. Close to Lake Bomoseen, as well as Lake St. Catherine State Park. Triple hammock stand (each hammock seats 2, 6 people total) with built in table, pit, wooden picnic table, and fire pit available (shared for meadow sites). Camp grilling rack stationed in the fire pit. Firewood for sale, or bring your own. Bring you disc golf gear to use with our movable basket. Site accessed via downhill path, 4-wheel drive recommended (has been no problem for trucks, minivans , SUVs), or park at street level and walk down to your site. Have fun fishing in the river (permits available online from state). The river gets stocked with trout and there are several deeper pools along our property where they like to gather. Bring your swimsuit for a cool river refresh, or rinsing off at the hose. Swimming holes accessible. Chairs available for sitting in the river flow. Double chamber sink with filtered hose station available for all sites to share, as well as a porta potty, stocked with toilet paper and sanitizer. Berry picking at this site! Parking available street level, if preferable, just a short walk down to your site. Have fun fishing in the river (permits available online from state). The river gets stocked with trout and there are several deeper pools along our property where they like to gather. Bring your swimsuit for a brisk river refresh, or rinsing off at the hose. Site is steps away from over 60 miles of hiking and biking trails, as part of the Slate Valley Trails system, including the Poultney River Loop (3.3 miles) which starts across the street from our property. Cabin currently sleeps 4 people: 2 in the loft, 2 on the sleeper sofa. You can also pop up your own tent for more guests in the yard of the tiny cabin. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, groups of friends, bicyclists, bikers. It’s a happy medium between camping and having access to amenities. Pets welcome! Unplug, or enjoy the surround sound system (headphone jack, lightning cable compatible). Fans provided and screened windows for breezy open air enjoyment. Private picnic table, fire pit and newly added hammock. Blackberry picking, apple picking, fiddleheads, crawfish, trout on the property! *When in season. Petite desk for enjoying snacks, working on crafts, or getting some writing done while looking out over the water. Property has a porta potty onsite with sanitizer. Water dispenser filled with 5 gallons of filtered water. Bring additional potable water supply, or use filtered hose* (unavailable during cold season). Full set of dishes provided with kitchen basics. Indoor/outdoor cooking on provided 2-burner gas camp stove, outdoor cooking on mini charcoal grill (bring charcoal and lighting supplies). Double sink station outside. Bring your swimsuit for a river refresh, rinsing off with hose or your solar bag and pop up shower. Adirondack chairs outside look out over the river. Small deck, perfect for open air yoga, stretching, coffee and tea in the mornings. Catch a view of the mountains from our road, while the river babbles below. Fire pit for enjoying evenings outside. Bonus: Ask about our glamping add-on options! Tent supplies available for reservation as well. Want us to stock your fridge?
