Refreshing riverside retreat with tent sites, RV/camper parking, and tiny house cabin on over 5 acres, featuring sunny meadows, veggie garden plot, 4-wheeler paths, and seasonal direct access to snowmobile trails. The property is perfectly nestled near the Green Mountains and the White Mountains, with a swimming hole and river fishing available right in the backyard. Bike trails, walking trails and stunning motorcycle routes are all at your fingertips from the property. Village amenities, such as groceries, bike shops, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and laundromat are all in walking distance (about 1 mile or less). Lake St. Catherine State Park (hot showers here) and Lake Bomoseen and others are close by for fun park activities. Visit a local winery (Whaleback Vineyard), see how maple syrup is made (Thrall Road Maple), shop the neighboring farm stands for local eggs, produce and baked goods. Close regional access to hunting, skiing, snowboarding. Leaf peeping season is here at the riverside retreat! The leaves are turning such lovely colors around here right now. Blackberries and fiddleheads on the property! In the fall, feel free to collect crab apples from our 100+ year old former orchard. *When in season. New additions: 6-seater triple hammock stand with built in picnic table. Fire pits and hammocks now at all sites! Tent sites can accommodate multiple tents, for group camping. Multiple fields available for yard games. Can accommodate parties and celebrations. 10’x10’ or 10’x20’ pop up shade tents available to rent upon request (with or without sidewalls). Excellent site for photo shoots, glamping, stargazing, sunbathing, leaf peeping, bachelor/ette parties. Want us to stock a cooler for you? Charcuterie, snacks, meals, beverages, etc. available upon request, customizable to your dietary preferences. Coming with a special guest? Lovely tent site in a flat meadow clearing alongside the Poultney River. Easy access to the Poultney River Loop and the Slate Valley Trail system for walking and cycling; over 60 miles of trails. Close to Lake Bomoseen, as well as Lake St. Catherine State Park. Triple hammock stand (each hammock seats 2, 6 people total) with built in table, pit, wooden picnic table, and fire pit available (shared for meadow sites). Camp grilling rack stationed in the fire pit. Firewood for sale, or bring your own. Bring you disc golf gear to use with our movable basket. Site accessed via downhill path, 4-wheel drive recommended (has been no problem for trucks, minivans , SUVs), or park at street level and walk down to your site. Have fun fishing in the river (permits available online from state). The river gets stocked with trout and there are several deeper pools along our property where they like to gather. Bring your swimsuit for a cool river refresh, or rinsing off at the hose. Swimming holes accessible. Chairs available for sitting in the river flow. Double chamber sink with filtered hose station available for all sites to share, as well as a porta potty, stocked with toilet paper and sanitizer. Berry picking at this site! Adorable tiny house cabin overlooking the Poultney River. Easy access to the Poultney River Loop and the Slate Valley Trail system for walking and cycling; over 60 miles of trails. Close to Lake Bomoseen, Glen Lake, and Lake St. Catherine State Park. Cozy winter getaway with gas fireplace, controlled via thermostat - set it to your preferred temperature. Cabin currently sleeps 4 people: 2 in the loft, 2 on the sleeper sofa. You can also pop up your own tent for more guests in the yard of the tiny cabin. Perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, groups of friends, bicyclists, bikers. It’s a happy medium between camping and having access to amenities. Pets welcome! Unplug, or enjoy the surround sound system (headphone jack, lightning cable compatible). Fans provided and screened windows for breezy open air enjoyment. Private picnic table, fire pit and newly added hammock. Blackberry picking, apple picking, fiddleheads, crawfish, trout on the property! *When in season. Petite desk for enjoying snacks, working on crafts, or getting some writing done while looking out over the water. Property has a porta potty onsite with sanitizer. Water dispenser filled with 5 gallons of filtered water. Bring additional potable water supply, or use filtered hose* (unavailable during cold season). Full set of dishes provided with kitchen basics. Indoor/outdoor cooking on provided 2-burner gas camp stove, outdoor cooking on mini charcoal grill (bring charcoal and lighting supplies). Double sink station outside. Bring your swimsuit for a river refresh, rinsing off with hose or your solar bag and pop up shower. Adirondack chairs outside look out over the river. Small deck, perfect for open air yoga, stretching, coffee and tea in the mornings. Catch a view of the mountains from our road, while the river babbles below. Fire pit for enjoying evenings outside. Bonus: Ask about our glamping add-on options! Tent supplies available for reservation as well. Want us to stock your fridge? Charcuterie, snacks, beverages, etc. available upon request, customizable to your dietary preferences. Coming with a special guest? Riverside Tiny House Cabin
Wonderfully warm and curated cozy cabin! It was a wet, chilly, late fall weekend and we were so comfortable in Robbin’s tiny house. Everything was just as described and we likewise had everything + more we needed. Really enjoyed the sound system and super appreciated the ample water provided. Love the added space of the lofted bed. The pull down ladder went with the overall fun, creative vibe of the spot. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

A little slice of paradise and EXACTLY what I was looking for. Key element such as cosiness, impressive surround sound system, a great Vermont view, and everything in good working order and easy to access. I loved it so much I extended my stay :-). Robbin is an exceptional host, she even messaged me with a map of a hike around town which I definitely made good use of. I'll be back!

The Old Apple Orchard
This is a really nice spot. My site was beautiful. Robbin was an excellent host. The Porta potty was clean, well maintained, and not too far from any of the sites, and the outdoor sink made it easy to keep hands and dishes clean. The riverside area is a great place to hang out with plenty of shade. I would absolutely stay again, and recommend it to friends. Thanks for a great weekend!

Perfect place to crash for a busy weekend! There were fire pits and hammocks to enjoy. The cabin was cozy. The porta potty was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Dare I say it actually smelled good? The nights were very quiet. Sirens could be heard rushing up and down the road during the day, although I feel as if this experience may have been out of the ordinary. Check out The Farmstand for espresso drinks with homemade syrups. ~30 minutes to The Paramount. ~45 minutes to Great Escape. Recommendation to the hosts for a microwave for easy takeout reheating and a mirror for a night on the town. Thanks for everything! We will be back!

Robbin was great, the place is quiet yet very close to town and Midway to all the Poultney mountain biking trailheads. Water was good, potty clean! Pretty much all we need. The boatyard site has a clear view of the sky for folks who need solar or starlink.

It was just what I needed for breaking myself into solo camping. Very private but yet I felt safe because I could hear people around me. Very cool stuff everywhere hammocks , swings ,river side and trails.

Just stayed two nights and was exactly what the doctor ordered. A wonderfully peaceful quaint getaway. The river is down the hill, right behind the cabin. It was so calming and relaxing. Robbin the host was extremely gracious and hospitable. Definitely Would stay there again.

Hidden gem! You would not expect this lovely private spot to be located in what seemed like the middle of town. I was so impressed with how quiet and private it was. Great space for multiple texts or camper vans, etc. The steep path down is definitely steep and grassy so as stated, it’s best to have 4wd or awd if you don’t want to walk down. I made it fine with the suv. The dry wood I purchased there was fantastic and plentiful. I’m looking forward to going back!

Hosts were great. Space was neat and clean. I highly recommend it for a quite peaceful place to stay with lots of bike trails surrounding it. If you’re doing the EDT Lupine it’s a perfect place to start or finish your journey. Nice little downtown with all necessities just .8 of mile down the road.

Robbin was an excellent host. She accommodated everything we asked for. The tiny house was very nice and clean. We caught probably the hottest 3 days of the summer and it still was a great time. The river was extremely refreshing and we sat in the chairs for hours. I highly recommend staying in Robbin’s Tiny House on the River.

We extended our stay for a couple more days and we are most definitely going to return. The landscape is absolutely beautiful, offering the center of fresh flowers and the abundance of blackberries was a nice added bonus for our breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful property the path leading to your site gives you with blackberries and the smell of beautiful flowers surrounding. Nestled in a valley next to a beautiful river. Very secluded, safe and Comfortd. Gifted at night with a sunset and the little lightning bug fairies. And all the crickets and Sounds of Nature for a perfect night sleep.

Wonderful, quiet spot. Cozy, well stocked tiny cabin. The creek behind was perfect to sit with our feet in to cool off. Convenient location close to everything we needed for supplies. Robbin was very kind, attentive and made sure we were comfortable. I would 100% recommend.

We had such a beautiful and peaceful stay at Robin’s cabin — and I have to say, she is one of the most thoughtful and professional hosts we’ve ever encountered. Even before we booked, I messaged her with a few questions, and her responses were so clear, thorough, and kind that I assumed I was speaking to someone with 10–15 years of hosting experience. To our surprise, Robin is a young and incredibly capable host, with a remarkable sense of responsibility, precision, and care. Throughout our stay, she continued to go above and beyond — sending photos of the setup (including the hammock!) and answering every question in detail rather than directing us to “just check the website.” That personal touch meant a lot, especially as we were traveling with kids. The cabin itself is lovely, clean, and stocked with high-quality items — from Cuisinart stainless steel cookware to a good blender, crockpot, and more. When we asked if something was available (like an extra cooler or crockpot), she made sure it was there for us right away. Robin even went out of her way to drop off a replacement stove, charcoal for the grill, and fun fire pit supplies for the kids when there was an issue — which she handled with grace and professionalism. Our daughters, Saha and Jana, had a wonderful time here, and we felt very cared for throughout. Robin truly sets the bar for what a great host should be. Great spot! Robbin is a very responsive and kind host. Site was right on the river and very peaceful, perfect for post-biking cool down. The two sites were visible to each other but decent distance between, we were the only group so felt huge/private! Blackberry bushes ripe for the picking. Close to town and a short drive to the Slate Valley MTB trails. Would camp here again! Steep hill if driving up and down but fine with AWD, could have also left the car parked up at the top by the road.

I loved this tiny cabin so much! It was so calm and beautiful. Pretty private, only downside is no bathroom and a little bit of spiders in the porta potty. Beautiful river that you can see from the cabin. The host is incredible and so nice!

Riverside Tiny House Cabin
The tiny cabin is in a beautiful spot, surrounded by trees and next to a river. It has everything you need for a really enjoyable stay. It’s also less than a mile from Poultney with pubs, restaurants and shops. Safe (because I know some folks worry about that, especially solo travelers like myself) and serene. Ty to Robbin who created a lovely space.

This was an extremely last minute booking and the host handled it perfectly. Literally booked at 7:30pm for that night and everything was perfect. A great quiet location along a nice stream was a excellent way to wake up. We will definitely be back someday hopefully with more time to explore the area!
