This was the second time I've stayed at the meadow campsite. It features stunning views and wide open space to spread out along with a picnic table and fire pit. There is one other campsite about a quarter mile away and it is far enough away to ensure solitude, although you might encounter the other guests as they journey to and from their site.

Free Verse Farm was absolutely amazing. Misha met us as soon as we arrived and explained everything we needed to know and gave us firewood. And we had traded messages via the app before we got this, so he is extremely professional and a great communicator. This is the most pretty campsite we have ever camped at in our lives. Gorgeous views of the mountains. Total privacy. Their outhouse is son nice that it should be the model for all camping bathrooms. They provide a great outdoor shower and clean up sink down by their barn. We will definitely return there again. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I absolutely love Misha & Taylor’s property! This is my 3rd return trip & I invited a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. I’d been telling them about Free Verse Farm & describing the amazing views, beautiful location & nice amenities. There is a very clean composting toilet a short walk down a path from the campsite & an outdoor shower & and washing sink (hot & cold water) down next to their house. For our group of 6, I bought firewood & and also ended up renting a mini grill & buying charcoal from M & T so we could cook veggie options separately. Everyone kept saying what a peaceful & beautiful campsite/location it was!! There was plenty of room for 4 cars & 4 tents, plus large tarp-rain-shelters & an EZ-Up over the provided wood table & benches. Another couple of my friends stayed at the campsite a little further up the hill, where there is another gorgeous view of the valley. Pro Tip: Spray your body & clothing with tick spray immediately upon arrival. And do tick checks frequently.
They are abundant. Misha & Taylor provide a very informative Welcome Packet letter that includes images & info about ticks & local businesses in Chelsea & surrounding towns. We had such a fun time at the First Annual Spring Carnival on Saturday hosted by SafeArt.
We all had a wonderful time at Free Verse Farm, hanging out by the firepit, laughing and cooking. Now all of my friends are definitely interested in a return stay.

We always have such a great time camping here, forest edge is a beautiful site! Had the most peaceful sleeps while listening to light rain. Waking up to clouds over the town was also so beautiful. Misha was super nice and so accommodating! Always on our list of sites to go to every year!

Loved pulling our campervans into these sites and having all the supplies for a bonfire, including the bucket of water to extinguish the fire. The host was super friendly. The morning sunrise views were fantastic to watch while having a cup of coffee. Highly recommend.

My buddy and I had a fantastic stay at Misha's Meadow Campsite. The site was flat, clean, and beautiful. Had the moon not been out, we would have had an incredible view of the stars. There was a great fire pit, access to a privy and washroom, and a gorgeous view of the valley below. This was my first Hipcamp experience and it surpassed all expectations. Will definitely be coming here again. If you're on the fence about booking at Misha's place, go on and do it without hesitation.

I enjoyed camping at Free Verse Farm. Misha and Taylor are excellent hosts. Their store in town in Chelsea is very nice. They were very hospitable. Hope to go back there again. The view is breathtaking. Pictures don't do justice. Even though it was a bit chilly, was definitely worth the trip and sights. Thanks for having us Misha and Taylor.

Wow, what a spot! This is arguably one of the best views I’ve ever camped at. The hosts were very nice and directions were clear and easy to follow! Outhouses were nice and the shower and wash station was a huge bonus for us. I already can’t wait to come back! So beautiful and peaceful. This place is amazing

Could not recommend Free Verse farm more strongly. Beautiful views and gracious hosts. Finding the place was easy due to clear directions and prominent signage. Check-in was a lovely experience, complete with a personalized handout and a farm map. We were even able to purchase firewood from the hosts, which was a huge perk for out of state travelers.
Thank you for a great stay, we would not hesitate to book again.

The grassy campsite is perched on a hill with a beautiful view of the valley. I enjoyed a bright moon followed by a foggy sunrise; I was a happy camper. I received a warm welcome when I arrived along with helpful information. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Free Verse Farm is an absolute must stay!! The mountain & valley views are gorgeous, the hosts are kind (their little one who greeted us was the sweetest!), and their Free Verse Farm Shop was an added bonus on our drive in! We also appreciated that their Forest Edge Campsite had some shade. The weather was hotter than expected for September, so it was nice to find refuge within that. We will definitely be back next year, a little later in the season, to enjoy the fall foliage!

Went to Free Verse for the third year in a row and had a lovely experience as always !!
We booked the 2 sites and had the beauty all to ourselves.
The view is breathtaking, especially waking up early in the morning when the fog is slowly lifting over the valley. At night, thousands of stars light up the sky. Our groups had a lot of fun during the weekend and the hosts were very helpful and accommodating when we needed extra wood.

We had a great time camping on the farm. We loved waking up the the sunset, looking up at the milkyway and seeing the cows. Nice and secluded spot in VT!

I wish I could leave a terrible review, but that would be unfair. This place is simply heaven on earth! This is the place if you are looking for a private campsite connected to nature. If you are looking for a place with other campers, this place is not for you. The views, the nature, and the vibes are unmatched! I have been camping all over and this place I will come back time after time! Thank you!
