Went for a women’s trip, 4 of us. Normally we remote camp but wanted something easier. It’s glamping and was nice to have an indoor space for sleeping and one for cooking.
The land is beautiful. Jill even let us use a shower in her barn as the solar shower wasn’t working. That was nice after long hikes!
The outhouse is a bit of a walk from the yurt.
The wood stove made it cozy as temps dropped to 40’s at night.
Electricity made it very easy.

We had a good experience in the yurt! We did not meet Jill during our stay, but communication was easy. The outdoor shower was broken, but Jill kindly offered for us to use the shower in the barn which we appreciated.
Despite the heat it was a bearable temperature to sleep inside the yurt. The added bonus of the fully equipped kitchen makes it feel like a luxurious camping experience. The yurt is a little bit cluttered, but we did not mind this. The kitchen did feel a bit sticky and dirty, so this could perhaps be approved upon.
Parking next to the yurt was easy and convenient, and we appreciated Jill’s suggestions for where to eat in the towns nearby.

We only stayed 1 night out of 3. Host refunded one night which was appreciated. Here are a few struggles we had:
Outhouse door was hard to open...we had to shimmy sideways to get in.
If you have a dog, the wooden boardwalk between buildings has some nails that need to be pounded in. Also, it's been a wet spring and mowing has been a challenge but the grass near the yurt was knee high. Only a very small area was weed whacked by the fire pit. Our dog had about a dozen ticks on him and I also pulled a ticked off of myself. I believe the other struggles can be rectified with a little attention to detail. It's a beautiful location but I wanted to be honest about some issues we had.

The yurt was beautiful and well supplied. We had a lovely, cozy, and quiet trip. The views were gorgeous and there was no light pollution so the sky at night was stunning. The kitchen and supplies were a nice accommodation and made camping out easy.

we loved staying in the yurt. it’s comfortable and well set up. the land is on a farm and close to so many great areas in vt. the views are so pretty. we would love to come back.

We loved “camping” in Jill’s yurt on her organic farm! Although we got a rainy weekend, we made the most of a relaxing and peaceful environment. We’d highly recommend this experience for adventurous and self sufficient campers. Also make sure your car can handle mild off-roading if you want to drive to the site of the yurt.

Beautiful space! Came for a girls' weekend away and was able to visit the surrounding area and even went to Montreal for a day trip. Kitchen and yurt are bigger than they look in the pictures and so cute! Thanks for a lovely stay

The view from this site is BREATHTAKING! My partner and I stayed in the adorable yurt for 3 nights on an anniversary trip, and these accommodations were absolutely spectacular. The place was so clean and we were so comfortable even during some cloudy/rainy days. Thank you Jill!

The yurt was quite private with good views of the farm, mountain and the well traveled trail up the mountain. Loved the boardwalk access to the kitchen shed with electricity and the close walk to the outhouse.

Quaint, charming, and cozy! My partner and I brought our dog and cat up from Boston to this gorgeous destination to unplug for the weekend after Thanksgiving. It was everything we were hoping for, and more! We arrived at what seemed like just the perfect time, before a steep temperature dive and sleety rain came through. We had just enough daylight to get the fire started in the wood stove (if you’re not comfortable using one the host has a very helpful sign posted to walk you through it), and immediately the yurt became a cozy, warm respite. I’d recommend stopping before you arrive to grab a few cords of kiln dried firewood to make sure you can get that fire going quickly! We brought our Thanksgiving with us, the kitchen had everything we needed, including a full size oven, small fridge, various pots and pans, and utensils. 4 days was not nearly enough time spent. There are trails to hike, bike, or cross country ski. There is a bustling town nearby (Bristol) full of the kindest people we’ve met in a while. The cafe, marketplace, and antique store were all favorites of ours. Bristol has quickly become a new favorite destination of ours, this will definitely not be our last time visiting.

Cozy Mountain Yurt on Organic Farm
I loved the yurt camping experience, our very first! The bed and the wood stove was very cozy. Our dogs loved having their own beds (one took the “bunk bed” lower one and the other one opted for the couch. We enjoyed playing cards and taking the dogs for a walk. The list Jill had for the parks was great! We went to the Watershed. We also loved the cute cozy kitchen and we would definitely come here again and also recommend this place to anyone. !

Very cozy place to stay! Made for a wonderful weekend- rain or shine! Only thing I would fix were the big spiders in the outhouse. Otherwise, 10/10 would recommend.

The yurt, the kitchen and the farm are dreamy! I wish I had booked it for a few days more as I wasn't ready to leave! We picked apples at an orchard 10 mins away and baked an apple crisp in the oven. We hung out by the fire and could see so many stars and the farm itself over looks beautiful mountains. The farm stand across the street is wonderful for b
uying some farm fresh organic veggies and other goods! I highly recommend staying here. The whole area is farms and beauty.

This beautiful space was clearly cultivated with care, magic and intention! The land was stunning, the stars otherworldly! We wish we had more time to meet the farmers but alas we only stayed two nights! Thank you so much for creating such an open, beautiful and friendly environment for us to unwind in! My husband, our 4mo daughter, our dog and myself all really enjoyed staying at Jill’s yurt! The view is amazing and yurt was cozy. It was great to let the dog out of the yurt where he could run around in the fields and be free.
We appreciated there being a small kitchen house close by the yurt where we could store away our food and/or cook there. We opted for cooking on the fire outside in the little fire pit and visited “The Bobcat” and “Jones The Boy” for dining. There is a near by grocery store, Shaws in town and plenty of wonderful farm stands if you’re looking to mostly cook yourself.
We spent each day at the local stream. Hill reccomended a sweet little spot that was easy access for us with the baby and a place where our dog could be off leash. This was our favorite daytime activity. We also took a drive one day over the gap and stopped for some maple syrup from twin maple!
Will definitely recommend this spot to our friends and others!

Our group of six, with two children, had a wonderful time at the new leaf organic farm yurt. The yurt is cozy and spacious at the same time, the kitchen was well, equipped, and the setting and views are wonderful.
