This was a great campsite! The open meadow in the middle of the three campsites is really nice, and Hilary was great about making sure we had enough firewood for the two nights we stayed. Beautiful foliage in mid-October.

This campsite became a sacred place of refuge during my friends and I’s trip to Vermont. We spent a weekend here in the late Fall of 2020 and had a peaceful excursion in the secluded Vermont mountains. The views and trails were nothing but beautiful. The campsite is also within driving range to other hikes and small towns. Hilary and her husband Jeremiah were so sweet during our stay, dropping off fresh fire wood each night and even offering us extra blankets. The outhouse was also extremely well kept and a nice addition! Please, if you are considering renting this site, do it. There is a magic aura surrounding this place that is immediately tangible. We found peace here and so will you. Finn’s Landing is a place to preserve youth.

Finn's Landing
Beautiful spot in the woods off of a private dirt road. There are trails to walk right in the vicinity, and our host Hilary told us about a great little hike near by with incredible views!
The 3 available camp sites were clean and flat, with prepared fire pits and logs to sit on. we were the only guests at the time, so it was very quiet and private.
The hosts recently built a gorgeous (not exaggerating) composting toilet, which could be the best part! It’s fresh and clean and smells like wood!

Nice spot! This is a beautiful and private clearing in the woods off of a dirt road in the heart of Vermont. There is a nice new composting privy that does not smell bad at all. This place is perfect for tent campers who want the feel of backpacking to a site without all the walking! Hilary was great with communication and stopped by with her two sweet dogs to make sure we were set and to share information about hikes in the area. All in all a great experience!

Hilary was a wonderful host and we loved the site. It was secluded and calm. We would definitely camp there again.

Beautiful location. Private. Outhouse was spic and span with no stink. Wood was appreciated for the fire. Would be a fantastic location for multiple families to get together. 3 sites around a nice field. We played on the White River (10 minutes away) and the next day canoed on the Connecticut River ( 25 minutes away). Thanks Finns Landing!!!

This is a lovely spot to camp, well maintained and private -- would be perfect for a group of friends, also. The location feels very woodsy, yet is close to great small Vermont towns for exploring, as well as near Hanover. Hilary was a terrific host! We will be back.
