The field is located next to the Blueberry Hill Inn and Outdoor, nestled in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and the Moosalamoo Recreation Area—offering stunning sunsets! We provide access to outdoor showers with hot and cold running water, as well as restrooms in the Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. For more information, visit our website at blueberryhilltrails dot com. While there is an internet connection near the buildings, please note that it's not guaranteed at your site. You can drive your car right up to your site, which offers privacy, though you may occasionally see other tents in the open field. For your campfire, you can forage for wood or request "bundles" (about a dozen pieces) by the morning of your arrival, and we'll have it delivered to your site. Please note, wood from outside Vermont is not permitted. Step outside your tent and you'll find a wealth of hiking, biking, and running trails. As stewards of these trails, your camping fees help support our efforts. Nearby, you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Trail maps are provided upon arrival, and you can also view them online on our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. The Outdoor Center offers snacks and cold drinks for purchase, including our inn-made chocolate chip cookies, chips, and cold drinks.You can also request a full breakfast, pastries, packed lunch, and coffee from the inn across the road. Don't miss our Pizza Nights at the inn—just be sure to reserve the evening before to guarantee availability. Payment for extras can be made on-site via Venmo or cash. In August, enjoy blueberry picking right here on-site!

Site 1 is private and charming, and perfect for you if you are sleeping in a tent. You can drive right up to it (1 car and 2 tent fits best, but there's additional parking or place for a third tent nearby) and it is easily accessible by walking. There is some shade as the site backs up on trees, and camp fires are super fun here! Get the marshmallows ready. :) There is also a charming walking path right out your tent door. Camper vans work here too but not trailers.

Site 2 is incredibly accessible by camper vans, vehicles, and larger groups. This site is spacious and open, and can accommodate multiple tents and is ideal for parties of around 6 people. If you have a party of more than 6, please reserve both sites. There is no shade at this site, but the sunsets are truly fantastic! If you are looking for an unobstructed clear night sky, this is the site for you. Come visit site 2 for beautiful fields and night skies, views of the Green Mountains, and a great time.

The Bed in the Shed is adjacent to the Blueberry Hill Inn and Outdoor and in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and Moosalamoo Recreation Area.  Great sunsets! We offer access to outdoor showers with hot and cold running water and toilets in the nearby Outdoor Center.  There is an internet connection near the buildings but not at your site. You can drive your car to the site. There is privacy between the sites though you can see the site nearby. You can forage for wood for a small fire or you can request 'bundles' to be available upon arrival.  Access to many hiking/biking/running trails just outside your tent door. We are stewards of these trails and your camping fees help to support our work. Nearby swimming, kayaking, and canoeing available too. We provide trail maps upon arrival and you can also view them online from our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. Blueberry picking on-site in August. Don't want to cook? Trail lunches are available; check out our site at Blueberry Hill Inn and contact me if you need more information.  This site provides space for a couple of tents as well as has a shed (10x10) which has a double bed! This site is on the edge of the field with shade provided by apple trees. (We have two additional sites in the adjacent field too.) The walk to the bathrooms and showers and water is about 2 minutes. We provide a bottom sheet for the bed and two pillows, but no comforter. There is no electricity; it is simply a bed in a shed. Camper vans are also ok here but nothing over 20 feet. Visitors, non-campers, may be welcome with advance notice. We limit the number of campers in order to provide a quiet experience. If your party is over 6 please also reserve an additional campsite.

My daughter and I loved the site at Blueberry Hill Inn. We wish we would have noticed the availability of dinner at the Inn. Everything was beautiful and well maintained. We utilized the wifi in the Outdoor Center and hiked on the cross country ski trails. Just beautiful.

Loved this camping spot. Got a great quiet night sleep and went on a lovely hike around Hogsback mountain in the morning before heading on my way. Shari was a great and welcoming host.

We loved staying at Shari’s place at Blueberry Hill! The field was beautiful and the Fall colors were amazing. The outdoor showers were top notch and the water was so hot and refreshing after a chilly evening. Would love to stay again!

My husband and I LOVED our two-night stay in the bed-in-the-shed this past weekend. We've been up to Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center to do some gravel riding before and knew what to expect as far as amenities go. We were super pleased to have such a lovely, quiet and peaceful place to rest our heads. Shari was kind in her welcome and super communicative before and throughout our stay. We'll be making this a regular camping spot when we're in Vermont for sure!

We stayed at Site 1 of Blueberry Hill Inn Camp Field and had such a beautiful experience. The landscape itself is stunning, and the site felt both intimate and private. We loved being able to drive right up to our tent spot to unload. It made setting up so much easier. The Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center was incredibly convenient and well thought-out. Between the two heated bathrooms with flush toilets, the outdoor showers (with hot and cold water!), and the concession stand stocked with helpful extras, everything felt clean and comfortable. We didn’t brave the outdoor showers this time, but it was great knowing they were there. At night, we were struck by how many stars filled the sky above the campsite. Our two small senior rescue chihuahuas settled in quickly and enjoyed the space, even getting to roam off-leash a little. The only thing missing was a campfire, but with the Vermont drought this summer and the fire ban, we knew it wasn’t possible. Extra blankets and our propane setup kept us cozy just fine even into the near freezing temps. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Shari, who was wonderfully communicative and made us feel at home from the start. All in all, this was a gorgeous stay. We’d highly recommend Blueberry Hill Inn Camp Field to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-equipped getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

This campsite was absolutely gorgeous. It was tucked away enough that you feel secluded and private, but it’s still only a 1 minute walk from bathrooms, running water, and other helpful facilities/resources. With hiking trails literally right in the backyard and other only a short drive away, I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone.

The Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center, adjacent to the inn of the same name, is a beautiful property in a relatively remote location in Moosalamoo NRA. Camping is in a big field and my campsite had a picnic area and fire pit. I had two beautiful clear nights with fantastic stargazing. Site 2 is a little distant from the Outdoor Center building which has amenities like outdoor showers, rest rooms, information and maps, hot water and snacks. High quality meals are available many evenings at the inn, albeit a bit pricey. A network of trails is open to the public leaving from behind the inn, and the area roads are good for gravel biking (which is what brought me there). Bring all supplies with you, there are no stores anywhere nearby.

Our stay at Tent Site 1 was beyond what we'd expected! Shari's sites were spread out, vehicle accessible, and offered beautiful views of the surrounding wooded hillside. Shari was communicative, proactively offering info about bathrooms, firewood, showers etc... We can't wait to go back!

We loved camping at blueberry hill! Beautiful views, lots of hiking trails, and so peaceful. Clean bathrooms and showers close to the campsite. Shari Mae was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We will definitely come back.

I enjoyed my stay at tent site #1. It was totally private from the outdoor center, the road, and the other site! I stayed in late August so the goldenrod is in full bloom, amazing! I noticed very little bugs, which was a big plus. The second night was clear and the stars were amazing, this would be a great place to stargaze as there’s little light pollution! I have AT&T and didn’t have service here, but the outdoor center is a 60 second walk and has great WiFi! Really nice having access to the center with bathrooms, outdoor showers, snacks, drinks, and apparel. There are also tons of trails you can access from here. I stayed Monday-Wednesday and it was very quiet. It was perfect for me and my dog!

This is a gorgeous spot, situated on a private piece of land, surrounded by old apple trees, and wildflowers. The shed has everything you need, a comfortable bed and a roof over your head. Added extras of wood, and coffee in the morning were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend,the bed in the shed. It is part of a compound with other accommodation options, including an Inn and camping. We had a delicious dinner at the Inn one evening. Very easy to find, and central to lots of interesting walks, rivers, and waterfalls.

Sweet spot behind the outdoor center with access to many great trails around the Blueberry Hill Inn, Moosealamoo and nearby. We were able to use the hot showers and the bathrooms at the outdoor center, as well as sign up to participate in events and meals at the Inn across the street. The site was private and quiet. Shari, our host, was responsive and she and her whole stafff were warm and welcoming to our family. We were so impressed with the love, care and attention to detail the whole crew put into running the property. It is a very special place.

Beautiful! The camping spot was so pristine and peaceful. The “Outdoor Center” was a nice resource if we needed the restroom…or a cold kombucha or homemade cookie. And the night sky here was fantastic—we watched the meteor shower and later the moon rise from the lovely private camp site. In the day, we were surrounded by wildflowers and hummingbirds. The place was very dog friendly. And being able to pick our own blueberries to add to our morning oatmeal was an extra perk! Highly recommend this spot for camping (or check out the inn). We hope to come again!

We loved staying at The Bed in the Shed. It was a perfect spot and I especially appreciated no tent wrestling (setup and breakdown were a breeze!). The property is so tranquil. We were the only campers so we basically had the place to ourselves. Great location for gravel riders! So happy we found this spot, we will definitely be back.

First Camp for Pups!

We loved our stay at Blueberry Hill. While we opted for the bed in a shed (which was whimsical) we actually spent the night tent camping in the area near the fire pit. It was private and perfect for our us and our two pups who were camping for the first time. You can see some of the other sites across the field and there is some road noise, but the road isn’t busy. Beyond the actual site, the walk to the outdoor center is easy, which is great to use the bathroom and outdoor showers. We also loved how easy it was to get firewood (the kit they prepared for us was great with kindling!!). We ended our stay with a hike behind the inn property. There’s a great set of trails and it was so easy to access. This would be a great drive-in campsite for a party that is a little less familiar with camping, or even more experienced campers who want some easy amenities and a great view of the sky. Quick access to Ripton and Middlebury if needed. We are already daydreaming about returning and will definitely be looking into the inn as well!

Perfect place to tent! I couldn't recommend it enough. If you are taking your doggo they will enjoy the amazing field and if you go with tent spot 1 you'll get a private little space for your dog to run around off a leash if trained for it. Hiking trails were scenic and quiet. Nearest gas station for ice is about 20 minutes down the road which wasn't to bad. I recommend the lake or the dam for a swim. The dam is about an hour hike through the trails or walking up the road. Gotta love Vermont.
