Peaceful Glamping for the whole fam

We loved the peacefulness of the Whispering Pines camp! The wagons were spacious and had PLENTY for the kids to do to keep them off technology! We especially enjoyed the heated beds and home-like amenities. Will definitely be back!

My friends and I had a great experience staying here.The host was really sweet and welcoming. The early morning sounds and the whole place gave us such a good and positive vibes enough for the entire trip.I highly recommend this stay and would love to come again with my friends.

This place was awesome - besides the wonderful and clean amenities (coffee maker in the wagon! Yes, please!) it was the welcoming and kind atmosphere very present at the campground. Christy and her family were welcoming, allowing us to borrow anything we needed, the kids playing together. The was a genuinely amazing place. (Plus, you get to sleep in a comfy bed in a wagon. My kids thought that was the coolest!)

Rob and Christy (and their beautiful children) were excellent hosts. Their hipcamp site is beyond beautiful! The wagons are so comfy and cute! There are many wonderful hikes and sites to see within a short drive. But, you can even just stay at their place and have a wonderful time!

WOW! Just got back from my amazing stay. My family and I stayed for four days at Whispering Pines and to say that it exceeded my expectations is an understatement. This place is by far one of the best glamping experiences of my life. Resort is unique, hosts are wonderful and friendly. Site had unlimited firewood, water in the wagons, fridge, microwave, heated blankets and soft comfy beds. Also had your own private bathroom and a washer and dryer if you needed it. Lots of kid friendly things to do including a fun tractor zip line that my son loved. I was truly sad to leave my stay. Perfect location between Zion and Bryce, my family used this as a hub and saw many a wonderful things that Utah has to offer. I hope to go back soon. LOVED IT!!!!

We were so happy with our stay! It was such a fun and unique experience staying in the wagon. Our kind hosts seemed to have thought of everything we needed, from heated blankets, fire tools, and a coffee/tea & fridge setup. The space was also extremely clean and well cared for, including the private bathroom. And the campsite was gorgeous! Highly recommend :)

Whispering Pines Resort
Owner was very friendly and accomodating the wagon and bathroom were very clean. We were the last campers of the season Oct 29-Nov 1 and there was an unusal cold front that came through bringing the temperatures down to 4°. Rob made sure we were comfortable and we were up for the challenge. The heated mattresses, blankets, and propane heater warmed us plenty. The location is centrally located between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. And the Coral Pink Sand Dunes is near by as well.

Whispering Pines Resort
This experience was everything! My boys LOVED it (my littlest said it is the best place he has ever stayed!). It was cold at night (in the 30s) but we were toasty warm in our beds thanks to the mattress heater. The hosts were so generous and wonderful and the location is great - we hit both Zion and Bryce during our stay and it worked out great! I would HIGHLY recommend this glamping spot to all my friends!

We booked super late and had no problem getting there! We were greeted so warmly, and made to feel at home. Even though we got there late we were still offered fresh donuts and given a little tour. Can not recommend this place enough!! Our only regret is not having more time to spend here because the grounds looked absolutely beautiful and the wagons and bathrooms were pristine! Such a cool night!

So beautiful, the smell of the forest was delicious.. they are sharing their slice of heaven and we felt very special to be a part of it for a few days! We booked site 1 and our kids loved the tractor made from an old tire zip line/ swing what was near the site. The bathrooms, fire pit, BBQ, table with an umbrella, hammock, BEAUTIFULLY made glamping wagons.. oh em gee!! Everything was so beautifully designed and thought out. The perfect get away.. Can’t say enough about our stay! They were so awesome too! Loved it all.

What an amazing alternative to traditional camping! The owners were the nicest people you can imagine, the wagons were very clean with super soft linens and bedding, the heating and AC were a plus despite the wonderful climate at 7,000 feet, laundry and grill were high end, and the bathrooms were absolutely fabulous. I loved the serenity of this location as well. I highly recommend this experience. Our rambunctious teenagers loved the games and hammocks, as well.
I’d suggest picking up groceries to grill out in a town prior to arriving - grilling utensils were provided, too!
It’s located in a great spot between Zion and Bryce, but I’d recommend hiking Bryce from here.
Book early to make sure you don’t miss our on this hidden treasure. The night sky and Milky Way (or 5am sky for the early hikers) are brilliant, too!

This place is so pretty. So much attention to detail esthetically and just as much to functionality. The hosts are very friendly and offer a wonderful family experience. They really put effort into making your experience wonderful. My teens stayed up late into the evening hanging out with their kids and in the end made some long distance friends. The beds were so comfortable and facilities we very clean.

My family spent two wonderfully nostalgic, yet incredibly comfortable, evenings in these wagons. Grills, tables, campfire rings, umbrellas for the sun, and even a nice personal shower and bathroom that everyone is happy about... not to mention the heaters.
There seems to be cell coverage during the day... but at night there is hardly any. But it IS camping... visit the Pinewood Restaurant for breakfast... best one around...
We left a bundle of wood... think about doing the same for the next folks if you visit...

We LOVED glamping in our covered wagon at Whispering Pines! We stayed three nights, and it was a definitely high point of our two week road trip. It was even better than we had expected. There is a heater in the wagon, which we turned on a couple of times to take the chill off before going to bed and when we first woke up. There are electrical outlets and USB ports. Very spotty cell coverage, but we didn’t care about that. The outlets were handy for me to charge my zillions of camera batteries, though. One unexpected treat is the adjustable electric warming pads in the mattresses. It got cold at night, and we were able to stay toasty warm!! Before retiring, we relaxed beside the outdoor campfire every night! There was plenty of wood. We enjoyed lovely conversations with Christy on a couple of occasions, and loved playing with their adorable and very friendly dog, Harley. The private bathroom was warm and clean. We made use of the laundry facilities on the premises. The fairy houses are adorable, and the mini ponds are full of fishes. Everything we great. We highly recommend!!! Thank you Robert and Christy!
