Red Desert RV Park has expanded to 55 full hookup RV sites along with 14 cabins. We are geared towards outdoor adventurists and sightseers wanting a cost-effective stay while taking advantage of everything Moab has to offer! We are locally owned by a family of 8 and love calling Moab our home. We understand the corporate overtaking that Moab has had in the last 5 years and plan to keep our campground affordably priced and locally owned. We have upgraded the old site plan from 7 RV sites to 55 Full Service RV sites this year. Most sites are pull through but we will have some back-ins. Our new bathhouse has a laundry, women's bathrooms and showers, men's bathrooms and showers, and an ADA compliant family style bathroom. In addition to the new bathhouse, we have a new office and retail store where we sell souvenirs, RV supplies, snacks, drinks, ice, firewood, and other necessities for guests. We do not currently have propane fill on site. We know that there are many options to choose from when it comes to staying in Moab. We urge people to support locally owned businesses that help Moab grow and solve problems that exist in our community. Moab is a recreation mecca with something for everyone and our little campground on the south end of the valley puts you within minutes of town, the mountains, and the red deserts around Moab.

Odd spot. If you’re looking for just a place to put some tents, it’s that. Showers and bathrooms were clean, about 20min from downtown Moab and 35 min to arches. That being said, you’re tucked away on the edge of the RV park which is just odd (thought there would be more tent spots) it’s really just a single tent spot with no shade.

Perfect location for Moab. Park is great for having full hookups and having a place to chill. It’s pretty packed plenty of space to set up. Beautiful views from both sides

Absolutely the best RV camp experience! We dry camped on a newly graded site and it was so private and peaceful. The facilities were immaculate and you can tell the hosts take pride in their park. They understand the importance of dogs as family members when traveling and have poop bags at the ready. In their little dog run, we picked up poop that other travelers had left behind. It was the least we could do to say thank you for a dog- friendly stay. All in all, the other campers were extremely quiet and respectful which made for a perfect stay.

Clean, neat, excellent showers, nice (small) laundry at a good price - all good, but it was rather sterile and expensive (at over $60) with very limited options. The staff was pleasant.

We tent camped in a space at the park and appreciated access to the restrooms with showers. Super easy to book and check in for our stay. It is right by the highway which does mean traffic noise is a bit loud, but also provides easy access to surrounding areas!

The site was very spacious, we were able to fit 2 cars and our fifth wheel all side by side with space. The laundry facilities were new and clean. The bathrooms were also clean and newly renovated. Having a fire pit that we could borrow was also a nice perk. The views from the site were fantastic of the La Sal Mountains. Great proximity to Moab (10minute drive to everything). As other reviewers have mentioned there isn’t any shade and there is road noise from the highway. There no longer is the shade above the picnic tables. We had a great stay overall and would stay again if we return to Moab.

The site was clean and staff was friendly. Good facilities and easy hookups at each site. It’s not in Moab, but 8 miles south. Be careful about entering the address in Google maps, as it directed us to the wrong place, north of Moab.

Had a great stay here. WiFi was good, clean showers and clean restrooms. No complaints. Stayed here for a total of 3 nights. Easy access to arches and canyonlands. Loved it!

A Good Option In Moab

Not your normal HipCamp location. This is an actual RV park. It was a good option in Moab. Your normal gravel parking lot in Moab with full hookups. It was great they had laundry facilities. It was an easy in easy out park. We rather do HipCamps at private properties but those options are limited in Moab. We stayed in our 31 travel trailer and would stay again if we couldn't find a private location.

Needed a place for solo car camping and this was great! Felt safe and the area was quiet at night and well maintained. The office has ice and firewood. This place is about 12-15 minutes from Arches, so it’s perfect if you want to get to the park early. Would recommend!

A bit out of town but worked well for us to drop our dog off at Moab National Bark for a day of doggy daycare so we can explore. We would have liked the place to take our dog potty closer to the center. The site was a bit uneven but we made it work. The showers were great so we didn’t fill up our grey tank. If we’re in the area again yes, we would come back.
