Cottonwood Grove
Wonderful getaway!
We loved our quick getaway to Lacy’s Swell Retreat! It was the perfect spot for our two boys to find lots of adventures to keep them busy. While on property, we enjoyed swimming in the pond, riding on the zip line, playing on the floating obstacle course, playing volleyball and just relaxing. All of the cooking equipment (flap top griddles, pots, pans, etc) was provided so it made things very easy for us. We have a trailer and there were plenty of spots for us to park it on-site. We used this camping spot as base camp for us to explore Goblin Valley and other sites in the area. Lacy and her husband Ben were wonderful hosts! We will definitely be coming back!

i really enjoyed my stay here! the place was fairly easy to find and the owners were helpful at guiding us to where we need to go and showing us how everything works. it’s a great place for large groups and people with kids, as theres a pond with plenty of kayaks, paddleboards, and a zipline and waterslide. we were also provided with potable water and firewood for our stay. it is definitely a great place for a nice relaxing getaway!

Definitely Recommend!
The location was so spacious, pretty and there were so many activities for us! The owners checked in periodically to pick up trash, make sure the lights were powered, and to see if we needed anything. They kept in contact in case of any needs as well. We also had all of the supplies needed and extras for cooking in their handy dandy shed. It was definitely worth the drive and we hope to stay again soon!

This is a fun family spot. The kids loved the slide into the pond and the kayaking. The hammocks were also a hit. Having a grill was helpful, too.

Dessert Oasis
This camp site is so cool. Hammocks, an in-ground trampoline, all the swimming activities. I camped with a friend but it would also be a great site for a family reunion or a group of friends (the grove camping spot). There’s a big cooking area and lots of hammocks/common space for your group. I would highly recommend booking this campsite!

True Retreat!
As a single mom I found the best spot to go camping with my little boy before he starts first grade! There were SO many activities for us to do together it was truly a little retreat and blew my expectations out of the water!! The site was clean, the hosts were incredible and were on site for most of the time that we were there to address any concerns and/or needs. They went above and beyond and let my little boy play with their little kids and let my little boy go for a horse ride. The tent trailer was so nice and clean and the lake was well taken care of!! We had so much fun! Thanks again for everything!!

Fun and relaxation at Swell Oasis!
Our stay in Cottonwood Grove at Swell Oasis was a pure joy. Our kind host, Ben, was amazing right from the start. Upon our arrival, he ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable, and memorable camping experience.
Swell Oasis is ideally located for quick access to an abundance of world-class outdoor recreational areas. However, my husband and I found that we didn’t actually need to travel off the property to have a great time. A water-slide, inflatable obstacle course, zip-line, kayaks,
canoes, stand-up paddle boards, and a fishing beach at one of the multiple ponds on site were all available to us. Additionally, an in-ground trampoline and various lawn games ensured we’d have a fun-filled afternoon. It was truly a pleasure to let the inner-child out to play during our visit.
Our evening in Cottonwood Grove itself was relaxing, enchanting, and restorative. The camping plot was very unique. Incorporated into a throng of tall trees, and equipped with hammocks, picnic tables, propane stoves, a fire-ring, and quick access to a well-maintained outhouse, this Hipcamp offered everything my husband and I could possibly need for an enjoyable evening (and so much more). At night, solar lights illuminated the site creating a mellow, calming
ambiance. It was so incredibly peaceful.
Thank you for your great warmth and hospitality, Ben. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Swell Oasis, and would certainly recommend your Hipcamp to our closest friends.

Ben and Lacy were very welcoming hosts! They greeted us upon our arrival and checked in periodically during our stay. They graced us with their pop-up tent trailer so we didn’t have to set up our own tent for a single night. It was a warm afternoon, so we enjoyed the use of the pond with all the fun amenities. The water slide was my favorite! I am in my early 30’s and felt like a kid going down the slide over and over again!! My partner enjoyed the zip line. We lucked out and had the entire area to ourselves for the late afternoon and evening.

Lots to keep your kids busy!!
We really enjoyed our weekend. We stayed at the pond view site which is a work in progress at the moment but looks to be awesome when finished. They are great hosts, sharing their land and sense of fun. It was so great to use water toys as we pleased. The place functions like an uncrowded RV resort… Amenities and spacious sites.

Whispering Pines
Great place to camp and play!
Mine and my sister's family really enjoyed our visit to Swell Retreat. Lacy and Ben were quick to respond to queries and were very helpful and friendly hosts. Getting to the site was easy with their directions. The Whispering Pines site was great. It had several amenities provided including; potable water, a camp stove and large griddle. (2) picnic tables, a kitchen work table, (2) hammocks and a fire ring. There was plenty of shade over most of the site throughout the day provided by the old tree farm next to the site. It also made a fun and quiet spot to explore and relax. There were porta-potties available a short walk away that were clean and well stocked. Both of our families had a blast at the little lake! We spent at least half of our time there. The kids just didn't want to leave and the only reason the adults did was because we had worn ourselves out trying out all the fun activities. They also had several land activities available like corn-hole, horseshoes etc. Twice we went to Fatty's pizza and grill. Great food and good prices. We definitely recommend Swell Retreat and look forward to coming again! Thank you Lacy & Ben!

Great spot for family gatherings
This site is a lot of fun. The kids loved the mini lake and paddleboards. The older kids loved the slide. Plenty of room. Fun hammocks and amenities. The one downside was the highway was audible from the site, but it wasn't a dealbreaker.

Camp Ambition
We loved our time here. The hosts were so friendly and their property is so much fun. Our 4-year-old had a blast getting dirty, swimming in the pond, riding his bike etc. Very relaxing for us too! This is a rugged property with just the right amount of activities to keep things interesting. Be prepared for dirt, water, mud, and a bunch of fun!

We loved Camp Ambition so much! Water obstacle course, zip line, trampoline and more. Our kids never had to opportunity to be bored. Plus, the hosts kids were swimming and playing with our kids. We only wish we had stayed more than one night.

The host family was very friendly and took time to make sure we had a good time by providing us with information and all of their "toys". I was surprised to find a large shade tarp already over the camp table, two reclining camp chairs all set up and even firewood.

A perfect getaway!
This was our second time here, and it’s now going to be a yearly tradition. Ben and Lacy work hard to make all feel welcomed and comfortable. This is a perfect mix of roughing it with all the convenient items you’d take with you if you had a full moving trailer! The zip line, inflatables and water toys provided hours of family fun!

Private Overnight Group Retrea
Great time
We took a youth group for an over night stay. We had the best time! There were about 50 of us. We set up all the tents in a shaded area. There were hammocks that the girls loving hanging out in. The picnic area was great and fit all of us. The girls absolutely loved the little lane. It had everything we would ever need… wibit, paddle boards, kayaks, slip n’ slide and the biggest hit of all, the zipline. We loved that it seemed like we were camping in the mountains, but if we needed something from the store it was just a five minute drive. The hosts were amazing! I would 100% recommend this camp.

Fun little camp
The girls all loved it!! The swimming, zip line, the wibit all of it was so much fun.
The camp site was a nice break from the heat. Awesome hammocks, chairs, the lights were awesome at night when they were turned on. It made the little grove of trees magical.
The griddles that were there to use were awesome! Propane was out but we managed to have one so it all worked out

A true little Utopia!
We loved our “end of the season” getaway to Ben & Lacie’s little utopia! They were so accommodating and just really wanted to ensure that our experience with them was one for the books and they exceeded my expectations for what qualifies. The zip line and water slide ensure that your trip is filled with plenty of fun and play! The landscape and wildlife is breathtaking. We will be booking it again next spring/summer.

Fun time!
The camp site was great with picnic tables, hammocks, and games. And at night the camp fire and string lights made things really nice. But the most fun for my boys was the pond with the zip line, slip n slide, and paddle boat/kayaks/SUPs. They loved it. We also had fun playing badminton and jumping on the trampoline. Overall lots of fun for the kids, and Ben and Lacy were really great hosts.
