Arrowhead Campground

This spot was beautiful. Was exactly as described by Jeremy and as photographed. Beautiful views out to Monument Valley and a great sunset and sky of stars at night. Bathrooms were outhouses but so clean. Jeremy’s dog came over to say hi at one point, so sweet and calm. Overall, our one night stay was perfect for what we needed. The picnic bench and covering were great for dinner and the Hipcamp is just outside of the tribal park, so super convenient for visiting Monument Valley. Just be warned it can get pretty windy out there! It was a great stay, I highly recommend.

Site 6 - Arrowhead Campground

The views and proximity to Monument Valley are hard to beat! The sites are spaced out well, and it felt private enough. The wind was wild when we were there, which made tent camping uncomfortable (so much sand everywhere!), but other than that, we had a great stay.

Site 7 - Arrowhead Campground

We had a beautiful night on Jeremy's land. Incredible views of buttes, mesas, and stars. Our site did not have a fire pit, which would have been nice on a cold April night (others did), but it did not detract from a great stay.

Unique, scenic, and peaceful place

Arrowhead Campground in Monument Valley is an absolute gem. Staying right in the middle of the valley felt surreal—surrounded by those iconic red rock formations in every direction. The views are simply outstanding, especially at sunrise and sunset when the colors shift and the landscape seems to glow. One of the highlights of our stay was the sense of peace and openness. It’s quiet, uncrowded, and feels much more personal than larger campgrounds. You really get to slow down and take in the beauty of the surroundings without distractions. At night, the stargazing is incredible. With almost no light pollution, the sky comes alive with stars—it’s one of the clearest night skies we’ve ever experienced. Sitting out under the stars in a place like this is something we won’t forget anytime soon. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. If you’re looking for a unique, scenic, and peaceful camping experience right in the heart of Monument Valley, Arrowhead Campground is hard to beat.

Worth the drive!

This spot was out of the way and worth it! Easy drive to the Welcome to Utah sign. Close to Forrest Gump Point, but most importantly great views and sunset/sunrise! Tons of space too.

Location & Sites but just lacking

This place is filled with potential but is just lacking. Investments in better fire rings as well as ones for every site would be terrific. Advertising fires while not supplying rings is very bad look. Having the bathrooms more centralized and well marked would also be helpful. Incredible location to stay the night but a few changes could make this a much better site.

The Black family land is just wonderful small camp ground but well laid out and the views are amazing especially that sunset over the desert hinting the buttes….

Great location. Quiet, clean. Very clean outhouse. Friendly, personal service. I checked out several options in the area and would definitely choose this one again. Directions were spot on. Had no trouble locating the property.

Really incredible camp spot with amazing views. Only a number of campsites with lots of space/privacy. Campsites 3,4,5 have the best views but they’re all great. We came with an RV with low clearance height and were fine driving up the dirt road (short drive). Jeremy the host was responsive and very helpful.

Stunning views and lots of space! If you’re looking for basically “dispersed” camping (plus a clean outhouse) with amazing views of monument valley, this is it. We stayed at site 4 based on other reviews, and it really was the best view of them all. Hope to return in the future!

In the wild west

The view and the silence was amazing. It felt like you in a country movie in the wild west. Dust and sand on the floor. Great! Also the host and their 3 dogs were so kind. And if you have a night without clouds, you will see an amazing night sky full of stars.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Arrowhead Campground. The views were extraordinary! Jeremy came by to check on us and his dog, Atlas, became our best buddy. Is there anything better than a friendly dog and a friendly human?? It was a quiet spot and the shelters really protected us from the wind. I would highly recommend this unique spot!

Just outside Monument Valley Tribal Park, gorgeous views and amenities were perfect (outhouse, shelter, fire pit). Highly recommend for simple and peaceful camping experience!

Awesome place with beautiful views! Easy to access although be careful driving through the neighborhood as a few dogs will come out to your car when you drive through.
