If you don’t mind being next to a highway, or having a picnic table, or being attacked by plants then it’s great. Location close to North Bend and had great showers. The tent campsites just need a bit more development.

Great spot, close enough to Big Bend but still felt private in peak season. Seculuded amenities are a short drive away. Great view of mountains in the distance. Loved it.

Site was roadside, but didn't feel like it if you were up near the bathrooms. heated bathrooms with showers was an unexpected, nice surprise. hosts were very nice. would definitely stay here again. pro tip: text the hosts for the bathroom code, so you can actually use it.

Camping at Los Gringos was nice and easy. The host was helpful when we were trying to find the location. It is sort of a free for all, first come first serve camp spot, where you're not assigned a number. The bathroom was clean and heated. It included a shower and toilet, with toilet paper and soap. There is enough parking for everyone and it is relatively quiet as well.

Nice property 10-15 minutes drive from Big Bend entrance. Wasn't sure where to setup camp but a fellow traveler gave us the details. Since we didn't have a reserved spot (one of the 5 dedicated camping spots), we basically could find an open location on the property and setup. Found a nice, level spot a bit secluded with a fire pit. Could hear some car traffic but overall was very relaxing spot for camping.

This campsite is a small area that sits next to an RV park. It is quite exposed, close to the highway, and there is very little privacy.

Evin was very responsive to any questions and very helpful. Stayed at the dispersed camping area toward the back of the property, the views were amazing and at night there are no lights around and the stars shine bright. The bath house is just a quick drive up the road at the Lost Gringos RV park and was very clean

Basic campground close to Terlingua, we stayed over Thanksgiving and it was pretty packed . The stay was fine but for the number of campers there over Thanksgiving weekend there were not enough toliets/showers. Otherwise a great place that I would not hesitate to recommend.

My friend and I stayed here to visit Big Bend National Park, and we arrived to find the site exactly as listed using the coordinates in Google Maps. We were the only people there for all three nights of our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better campground, the only minor drawback being its proximity to the highway. We picked the furthest site from the highway (site 4) - just a short stroll from the car and containing the single fire pit for the whole campsite. Stunning views of the sunrise over the Chisos Mountains in the distance, and spectacular moonlight and starlight views at night sitting around the fire. The site driveway is not the most obvious, but it has a white board sign with black letters tucked just in from the road. It's only about 5 minutes from Terlingua Ghost Town, 10 minutes from Cottonwood Grocery (which has everything you could ever want for a camping trip - or your regular grocery shopping for that matter), and 15 from the west entrance to Big Bend National Park. We found the campsite quite clean, with no obvious trash or leftovers from previous campers. Overall, a solid place to use as a base camp for either of the Big Bend parks and a fun desert camping experience on its own.

Evin was super helpful with directions, amenities questions, etc. campsite was beautiful, in one night I saw more shooting stars than I had in my whole life up till then. Amazing. Close enough to Terlingua/Big Bend to not waste your day driving. 4/5 would recommend!

A five-minute drive from Terlingua and in close proximity to Big Bend Ranch State Park, this campsite is in a prime location to access the must-see spots of the Big Bend area. As others have described, the campsites are beautifully maintained and marked. When we arrived at the site, there were already three or four other groups with tents set up. We found a free spot to set up our own tent easily, and had a good amount of space between our campsite and other campsites. There is no bathroom/shower here, but campers do have access to a $5 shower at a local RV park. Be sure to bring your own drinking water, as water is a scarcity in the desert. There are established fire rings at each campsite - bring your own firewood or pay $15 for a delivered bundle. Though we never had the chance to meet Evin, she was easy to contact over phone and quick to answer our questions. This clean, spacious property was perfect for exploring the Big Bend area, and we are looking forward to returning! PS - While you're here, be sure to take a sunset drive down River Road 170 for some of the best views in Texas!

Had a great two nights here! Beautiful area, marked sites, and an easy drive into town. The first night there were a few others there camping but it still felt private. Will definitely be back!

An overall good experience, the view was nice and there was plenty of space! It seemed a bit overpriced considering the area and the fact that there aren't amenities. But we had a great time there!

This was a great experience for us and our kids, they met and played with new friends and wanted to stay longer. The sites were clean and well maintained, the bathrooms were a plus and there were areas setup at the sites for a great campfire. Thank you!!

Great spot in Terlingua! Beautiful views to wake up to. We stayed here one night before heading into Big Bend, and it’s convenient with a gas station and country store just down the road.

This campground is awesome! The camp spots are huge, well spaced out, and very well maintained. The sunrise view in the morning is insanely gorgeous. The area is extremely dark at night but it makes for great star viewing. I would highly suggest this campground to anyone wanting to camp in the Terlingua area.
