Had an awesome tent camping experience here at Tara Vineyard and Winery! First of there are adorable animals 💜. Secondly the bathroom amenities were super clean! Note that the shower is an outdoor shower so be sure to bring a bathing suit to shower in. The shower water was lukewarm, but honestly didn’t bother me. Overall had a great time camping here. Sadly, we didn’t make time to try out the winery, but guess we’ll have to come back and try it out! The charcuterie boards looked amazing though 😍!

Overall good wine a beautiful property. Hospitality on the low end was expecting something more. Also $20 for a pool pass is ridiculous. Would not recommend to any young colored individuals.

Beautiful place very friendly and helpful. We camped on one of the designated camping areas on the property. Had a little trouble getting further back into the land due to the storms that came through. My son and I were still able to have a good time. There was a very friendly pup roaming the camping area. He hung out with us during our stay.

Wow, this was a great find! The property was extensive with lots of sites to choose from. The kitchen menu was gourmet and expertly prepared and served. The wine was good too. Susan and her staff, Kim and Austin are all friendly and professional. We met many other amazing Hip-campers at our stay! Thank you for everything! (I would also highly recommend buying the pool pass).

Had a great experience tent camping here during the eclipse! Despite being probably one of their highest-demand days for camping, campers were attended to.
At night we had a campfire in one of the designated pits by the winery, and met some other campers. We ended up cutting a two-night trip to one night because of impending thunderstorms, but we got to see the totality which was great.

We loved Tara Winery. The Inn and grape vines all around are beautiful although we camped in our small RV on the property for the eclipse so can't vouch for the inside
They have a great chef and the food was very good at the restaurant.

Went for the eclipse, had a great time. Beautiful property, tasty wine, good food. There were lots of campsites, some more private than others. They provided an outhouse, but during the day it was possible to use their flush toilet. Would definitely stay again!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our camping experience here! There was plenty of dispersed camping available, and many places were spread out enough to have some privacy (other spots were closer together - good for group camping). There were Porta potties available, one of which had an outdoor sink, and the Winery's bathroom was also available. The pool pass was expensive, but swimming/hot tubbing really hit the spot! And the outdoor shower was a nice touch, too. It's hard to beat camping at a winery! I wish we lived closer so we could come here more often. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay on Susan’s property. There were lots of places to choose from in where to set up camp. Ended up in a secluded space in the woods on a nice trail. Easy to access & had both water and electric right there. Winery and all staff were amazing! Would absolutely come back.

Their concept of winery and camping is definitely unique and exciting. The wine was great, the dining/drinking area was great, and the food was even better. We loved being able to tent camp and walk over for a delicious meal and drink great wine. However, the camping areas can use some simple improvements to enhance the experience. I would still recommend camping here to anyone.

Our stay at Tara Vineyards was fantastic. Susan and here staff were very friendly and accommodating. Upon our arrival we were given the option to explore the property and camp anywhere we saw fit. We were also offered to option to camp near the pavilion and join their NYE celebration (for a small reasonable fee), which we chose to do. We also purchased a bottle of their wine which we absolutely enjoyed. We recommend this campsite!

My family and I enjoyed this camp ground. It was peaceful. The ground dogs are definitely a plus because ofcourse they keep us safe, it was very comforting. It was a first for my Fiance and 5 year old and they can't wait to go back. Camp sites weren't mapped out or marked however, the ladies definitely helped every way that they could.
The website offers a lot of detail on the things to do, we decided to opt out of the scratch kitchen so we could really get the experience but it was BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️ definitely going to go next time around. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Susan was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The vineyard is absolutely gorgeous! We only stayed for one night as part of a cross-country road trip, so we unfortunately didn't get the chance to do a wine tour/tasting, or sample the chef's creations. Will definitely enjoy all those things the next time we come back!

If camping: pick a spot down the trail, they're are private and pretty
Cons:
The location has 5 large dogs that wonder the property and bark for hours in the middle of the night.
Don't book any extras online!! They don't have a way to schedule it so your on their time if they even have any availabilities.

Loved staying at this location! Very close to town and Purtis Creek State Park. Judy met me for check-in and was also wonderful and informative. Nice, quiet, and safe. Would stay here again! Especially to see the llamas, Machu and Picchu.
