Come enjoy the beauty, serenity, wonder, and refreshment of Still Waters Sanctuary, featuring 200 acres of off-grid camping and a 17-acre lake just 15 minutes west of Fort Worth, Texas. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, and fishing on the lake, with perfectly nestled campsites beneath beautiful, tall tree canopies right beside the lake and dock. Take in amazing views while exploring and hiking along the high-walled creek and through the canyon that runs the length of the property. The area also features a 25-foot waterfall when flowing, as well as several smaller feeder creeks and waterfalls throughout the property. The landscape offers a balanced mix of mature hardwoods, cedar, mesquite, and open prairie. The property is also perfect for horseback riding through pastures and along trails. The property is bordered to the north, east, and south by hundreds of additional acres of pastureland and to the west by a small neighborhood. The nearest grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations are just three miles away. Enjoy the use of ATVs and mountain bikes, with access to campsites via three pasture roads on the property. Guests may also use the barn and barn patio for storage or camping. You may also encounter peaceful wildlife throughout the property, including deer, turkey, and waterfowl, as well as bass in the lake. Come take a respite from the chaos of everyday life and escape to Still Waters Sanctuary, where the peace and beauty of the wilderness can restore your soul. We welcome you and look forward to your visit!A peaceful tent site nestled beside a 17-acre private lake with morning birdsong and filtered sunlight through the giant oak canopies.
