You will be only 25min~ from both Big Bend national Park and Terlingua Ghost town!Howdy Hipcampers! - Get away and unplug at the Starry Night Retreat and it’s 5 acres all to yourself. You will have amazing views of the Milky Way 🌌 - The campsite offers a parking lot area, a marked path to your campsite which has a fire pit and several great spots to pitch a tent ⛺️ - The parking lot also has room to park an RV up to 25 feet in length 🚌 - 360 degree mountain/mesa views 🏜🌵 - 25min~ to Big Bend National park - 30in~ to Terlingua Ghost Town and the Famous Starlight Theatre 🤠 - 20min~ to Terlingua Ranch Lodge where you will have access to showers/bathrooms, a pool during the warmer months, laundry facilities, the Bad Rabbit Cafe Restaurant, a general store, potable water for sale, and a disk golf course! - ATTENTION: THIS IS A COMPLETELY OFF GRID CAMPING EXPERIENCE AND YOU WILL NEED TO PACK OUT ALL TRASH! Starry Night Retreat
It was serene and far enough away from other people to really get to enjoy the solitude. My 2 pups and I spent 4 nights there to connect to nature and decompress from a stressful time in life. It was perfect for that! The dogs learned to quickly look before they step and the thorns in their feet were a minimum. I was surprised at the amount of traffic on Reimers Rd., and there was one neighbor kinda close in my opinion. Overall I had a wonderful time and was able to disconnect from technology! So amazing! I felt 100% safe.

Starry Night Retreat
We loved it out there, it was so peaceful and the sky was magnificent. We loved the seclusion and being in a primitive campground with a beautiful sun rise and sunset with mountains surrounding the area. About 20-30 miles from chisos mountain in big bend the drive is scenic

Had a great time at the Starry Night Retreat and the name matches what’s in store. The directions were accurate, easy to find, and everything was accurate as listed. Brent was a great host and if you enjoy being secluded with driving distance access to the lodge/town, then this place is for you.

I had a great time camping on Brent’s Land. Easy access to the big bend national park and beautiful land to walk around and enjoy the view. If I am ever in the area will return!

3rd trip here over the last two years, amazing time everytime. This time the moon was t hanging around and I could see the milky way! I spent a week out there on site and it was a blast. Thanks Brent for being a great host!

The views for the campsite are great. A bunch of great spots to camp and stargaze. Coordinates lead you straight to the lot along with the description directions we found it easily in the dark.

Great Place! Definitely would come back again! It gets a little windy at times so if your cooking bring a wind blocker!

Starry Night Retreat
I'm excited about camping on Brent’s land! The views are amazing, quiet, and peaceful. It was easy to find the place because Brent sent the exact GPS coordinates. It’s pretty close to Big Bend. Brent is a great host. He texted us several times to be sure if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Definitely recommend!!! The best experience!

Starry Night Retreat
Starry Night Retreat is fantastic. Google Maps brought us straight to the site. The campsite is well cleared and laid out with a great fire pit in the center. It was super quiet and peaceful. The sunsets and sunrises were spectacular with the Mountain View’s as backdrops. There is little to no light around at night so the stars are brilliant and breathtaking. It was everything I was looking for in the quiet and solitude. Brent checked with us and is a great host.

Awesome spot! Great communication with our host too. This place has great views and private even though it’s right off a road you wouldn’t even know. One this to note is this spot has a spot to drive up to then you have to walk to the campsite/firering. We showed up with 2 vehicles with rooftop tents so had to set up in the parking area and didn’t really stay in the actual camp spot. Perfect if you are pitching a tent. Highly recommend

Second visit and had an amazing time once again. Beautiful stars and views as always. No coyotes this time! Haha. Hopefully I’ll get back out for one more visit before the summer rolls in! Thanks again to Brent the host for such a great little space to relax!

Starry Night Retreat
Brent’s land was great! Our 20 foot bus plus small travel car fit perfectly in the parking spot and gave us a great home base when coming back from exploring Big Bend as well as the town of Terilingua. We loved coming back to the property, soaking in the silence and looking at the stars! Also highly recommend using the amenities at Terilingua Ranch! We drove up there to do some laundry and the staff was very kind and accommodating.

First time camping in the desert. It was so wonderful. Campsite was nice and cleared. The campsite is right in the valley so it’s a 360 view of mountains. The coyotes got decently close but no encounters. This is their home after all. I will be returning for sure. The quiet and starry night was so worth it. It does get chilly at night so warm items are needed. I did go down to the lodge for a burger. Very quaint some cool things to see down in Terlingua for a day trip- . Some may not like this but I did not have reception. I have Verizon and could only get 3g bout 5 miles from camp site. Personally I love the disconnect. The walk from the parking lot to the campsite was cute and lined with rocks- if you got heavy items be prepared to haul bout 100 or so feet. Overall I give a 10/10. Can’t wait to come back!!! Also I think you need to wave to everyone driving by- idk why but everyone waved to eachother. Lol just a heads up incase you are as confused as me. By the third day I was waving to people in the dark.

Starry Night Retreat
Starry Night Retreat was a dream! Secluded with good road access, the fantastic views (sunsets were out of this world) and night skies (directly under the Milky Way) made it the perfect location for our camper van. Brent did a phenomenal job of making the site nice and easy for set-up, and he was a great communicator to boot. His directions were spot-on and easy to follow. Our AT&T cell service was spotty, but who needs the internet/cell service when you are surrounded by beauty... This location makes for an easy drive south to Study Butte, Terlingua and Big Bend National Park. We will FOR SURE be going back!
