Vintage trailer · Sleeps 2This vintage camping trailer which in essence is just a rustic shelter to sleep in. Think of it as a weatherized box that can be used for shelter rather than using your tent. There are no utilities in this camper whatsoever. The only advantage this campsite has over bare ground is that, if you only have one or two people, you don’t have to bring your own tent unless you want to. This vintage camping trailer has no electricity, no lights, no air conditioning, no heating, no nothing, except some rudimentary provisions for sleeping. You will have to bring your own bedding, your own bedroll, or sleeping bag or whatever. No sheets or blankets or pillows are provided. There is just a bare cot and a bare “couch” that can be used for sleeping. The camper can accommodate only two people for sleeping, but the campsite can accommodate up to a total of six IF other provisions are made for sleeping, such as bringing a tent.
This is essentially just an uncrowded “primitive” campsite on a ranch out in the country about 8 miles from Fredericksburg and about 12 miles from Enchanted Rock. There is no running water, electricity, or WiFi at the campsite. There is a picnic table, some chairs, a fire ring with some firewood and a portable toilet nearby. This site is suited to tent camping, car camping and small RV "dry camping". There is relative privacy, hopefully starry nights, and there are campfire provisions. Guests share the pasture with livestock and wildlife.
