This was a fantastic campsite for the two of us and our teardrop trailer. The hillside provided great shade, and we spotted plenty of birds — even a couple of foxes. The site includes two restrooms and an outdoor shower, all clean and convenient. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Kambrah’s spot to anyone.

The camp sites that Kambrah offers are great and with plenty of space, amenities and isolation. Kambrah and her husband were extremely friendly and took great care of us. We had so much fun that we ended up staying more time that planned.
Location wise is also very convenient whether you want to go for a winery or for a good restaurant, you will have good options close by or even within a ten minute drive.

My dog and I had the pleasure of discovering the Wine Trail Dream as a place to camp and experience the Eclipse with new friends Kambrah and other camping and celestial enthusiasts.
Not only is the property lovely and well maintained, Kambrah is a great host and surprised all of us by hosting a wonderful eclipse event.
The area around Hye, TX is a great place to visit, and if the chance arises again I'll be back to the Wine Trail Dream.

We had a great time at Wine Trsil Dream for the eclipse. The setting was serene and Kambrah put in a lot of effort to make the event fun and welcoming.

A beautiful property and conveniently located right off highway, yet it was pretty quiet. Bathrooms were very nice and clean and we used the outdoor shower. No hot water but it is warm outside so it was fine.

The site was very peaceful despite being close to 290. Also we were the only campers that weekend. We were there in the middle of a drought and it was very hot, so the grass was very brown. However, it was close to some of the events we were attending and it's directly on the Texas wine trail and very close to many wineries which is an added bonus. Kambrah was very friendly and let us use her outdoor shower, which was greatly appreciated on this very hot weekend.

What a beautiful piece of property! Hook ups were convenient and we were close to all the fun things we wanted to do in the area. We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed sitting out at night- enjoying the cool breezes, stargazing and finishing off a bottle of wine from the day’s tasting.

Kambrah was an excellent hostess! There are 3 campsites. We so happened to be the only campers. I loved the wide open spaces and full hook ups! I would highly consider trying to reserve all 3 spaces, just because I loved having the place to myself. Hye is such a great home base for all of your wine country adventures.

Gorgeous grounds were reminiscent of the African savannah with amazing views of the Milky Way on clear nights. Mind-blowingly fast ATT connection as it's about .25 miles from a cell tower, so it's a great place to work remotely for a few nights. Conveniently located right off 290, hwy noise can be heard from the site but not a big deal. Very close to some of the best wineries hill country has to offer. The Mud Bug cajun food truck located at Hye Cider is a must-visit. The sewer connection for Site 1 is on the opposite side of the water/electric connections so it's a little awkward but still manageable. Make sure you have at least a 20' sewer hose available.

This was our first HipCamp booking and our first overnight stay in our new to us camper van. We spent three nights at one of the three full hookup sites. The setting is beautiful, easily accessible, and private. Yet we were within walking distance to the excellent Hye Cider Company and Hye Thai food truck. Also the plethora of wineries between Hye and Fredericksburg were all within 20 miles.
We would definitely stay here again
We have one minor constructive suggestion which is an easy fix. At two of the sites, including our site, the sewer receptacles were located some distance from the electrical/water. They need to be closer as all RVs have their hookups on the same side of the coach.

Two full hookup sites right off 290 with full bar 5G cell service, a cider and food truck within walking distance, deer everywhere and two cool cats... it doesn’t get better than this on Hipcamp! my wife and I on our camper going to all the wineries over the weekend then coming back to this site felt like we were hacking the system. Will absolutely stay again.

Thank You Kambrah & Pancho for such a great stay on your beautiful land & for being so friendly!
The property is within a very short walk of the Hye Cider Brewery which has a great Thai food truck. You can enjoy some live music in the area and lots of vineyards of course. Gaze upon the clear skies and the stars. Great property for kids to roam around, water, septic,30 & 50 amp.
Very good over the air tv channel reception and cell service.
We highly recommend staying at this property and look forward to our next stay.
