A fun bit of history comes with the name of Happy Trails Farm! Our 116-year-old farmhouse is the childhood home of that great Western movie and television star, Dale Evans. Known as Queen of the Cowgirls, she was married to Roy Rogers, famous as King of the Cowboys. Dale wrote and sang the iconic song "Happy Trails To You". And so our new name has a special meaning. All the way up until the time she passed away in California, it's reported that Dale enjoyed coming back to the farmhouse, her old childhood home, to sit in a rocker and reminisce on the front porch.
