The cabins were great - its a VERY small town, so if you need groceries or want to venture out to eat while you are here, the next city it San Angelo..which does have all you need and it's a pretty quick trip from the cabins to all the main stores.
The "Play Ground" needs a bit of an update. They have an all metal dome like climbing structure that isn't really suitable to for small children, the see saw is also quite dated, it would have helped to have a swing or maybe a slide with our 3 year old with us.
The paddle boats were dirty and wet inside, so we didn't use them, but we used the older canoe type boat the first day and it was ok .. it was a bit windy out, so we didn't feel stable enough to be on the water that long. We tried to fish, but didn't really see any. There were lots of cute goats across the way that came out to graze and feed.
The beds are super comfy and the amenities are good too - small fridge, microwave, shower and indoor toilet all very nice.
We would probably come back if the playground was updated or when our daughter is a bit older.
