Site 3 - BlackBerry Pines Disc & Camp
Brock is an excellent camp host and he maintains both his disc golf course and the surrounding camping spaces in great condition. The land is beautiful and far enough away from town to avoid road sounds and heavy light pollution for awesome camping vibes. If you're concerned about the restroom situation, the porta-potty is one of the most clean and well maintained I've ever seen. Overall a superb location to camp, with Brock only making more improvements as he goes!

Great spot out in the Piney Woods. Brock’s got a really cool space and is beyond friendly. Definitely would go back to spend some more time out there. Dogs loved it too!

The site is well worth the camping. Beautiful flush pine forest with very accessible camping sites and on top of that a great frisbee golf course which is also lit up at night. Brock, our host, is the kindest, friendliest, and most interesting person we met in our trip. As if the site alone was not enough, meeting him was the cherry on top.

Site 10-BlackBerry Pines Disc &Camp
Stayed two nights here to view the total eclipse. The property was beautiful and well kept. All camping sites feel very private and secluded, well nestled by trees, despite being near enough to still feel the camp vibe. Brock and his dog Shadow were great hosts, even offering more sufficient shelter when we decided to stay through a big rainstorm. If I’m ever traveling through east TX again I’d stay without hesitation. We didn’t play any disc golf but the course looked super legit. Took a nice dip in nearby lake Bob Sandlin, highly recommend. Thanks a million Brock 🤙🌞🌚

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Brock’s property! It was quiet, private, and lovely! We were able to drive right up to our site and enjoyed tent topper camping atop our Subaru in the piney woods. We look forward to another trip here in the future!

Great place to escape the city, camping in the forest on a challenging disc golf course. Peaceful environment with a community fire pit. Brock is a really good guy with plans to expand. Can't wait to go back and see what develops.

Secluded and Restful!
BlackBerry Pines Disc & Camp
We sure picked a hot time to camp, but we made it work! There is lovely dispersed camping across the property, and it's secluded across the board! There are three different ecosystems on the property (similar to Arbor Hills, if you're in North Texas), and camping here is a welcome break from the flatness that is NTX. Definitely bring a high clearance vehicle if you want to make it to the clearing. We didn't trust our camper Prius to make it through a certain dip in the trail, so we found a nice level spot in the woods just off the trail. Brock let us know that it is being newly developed, and there are lots of goodies to come in the area that we camped in! Fortunately, the clearing that most people camp at is only a short walk away, and wow is it a stunner! It is completely secluded and surrounded by pines. The space would be perfect for families and groups! There's lots of space to run around and spread out without worrying that someone will walk up on your camp, even with dispersed camping. We saw a couple rabbits too! We really appreciated the fire pit, though we didn't want anything big during this heat wave. We found ourselves content with using the propane stove under the shade of the trees in our little spot in the woods. Brock is also developing a disc golf course on property - I think my partner has found a new favorite camping spot! He carried a disc across 7 states just to be able to play here. We can't wait to bring our kids back here this fall when the weather cools down.

Peaceful Piney Woods
BlackBerry Pines Disc & Camp
Peaceful camp site out in the Piney Woods. Brock was responsive & great host. Property had the perfect place to pitch a tent and see the stars, surrounded by sights and sounds of East Texas forest. Bonus was proximity of lake BS, Ma’s Cafe for breakfast, and Anvil Brewery in downtown Pittsburg, all less than 10 minute drive from property. Overall had a great time! Thanks Brock.

We loved the privacy of this property. The trails made for a beautiful walk. It's just close enough to town, but so wonderfully seclusive. And Brock was a very attentive and responsive host.
