Linda was so helpful and welcoming! She took us straight to our site and had firewood waiting for us. Her dogs and goat greeted us with big smiles.

Quiet, woodsy, safe and serene! Andy, the owner’s German Shepherd, camped with me and is just the sweetest dog! Linda is a great host and helped resolve my battery pack issues by running power all the way down to my site so everything had power and full charge is restored to my battery pack and me! She has a beautiful spot with a fire pit all set up, plenty of chairs, 2 grills and an eating table and another small folding table too. The outhouse is charming! Great place-I’ll be back if I’m ever this way. Thanks Linda!

My family and I would absolutely recommend this place! The host was over-the-top accommodating and offered tons of activities for the kids. The campsites were well laid out with lots of trees, there was so much space for the kids to safely explore and for the dogs to roam. We did pay for the electricity option, and the ropes course for the kids. The outhouse was very clean.

The forest is so beautiful for spending one night, we really enjoy the atmosphere. Linda and Robert were really nice, they helped us with the fire. Their dog was so welcomming too and he spent the night we us. We also had the visit of the goat during breakfast time, although it wasn't as nice because she wanted to eat our food !

Had a blast, lake is right out their driveway, family had fun exploring the woods on their property and playing with their dog Andy and their goats. Ninja line and swings were also fun and a beautiful fire pit made for a great weekend.

Linda is an incredibly gracious host. She went well above and beyond to accommodate me during my stay. She's also an incredibly knowledgeable naturalist who was happy to share her knowledge of the plants and wildlife that inhabit the beautiful landscape her campsite is nestled on. I highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I and our three boys stayed here for the total eclipse. My boys absolutely loved it! They enjoyed playing and swinging at the creek, feeding the chickens, fish, and goats. Camp dog Andy was the sweetest dog. He played all day with my boys and kept a watchful eye over them. Linda was an amazing host! She got bikes out for the kids to ride and gave them a bug magnifier glass. She was there if you needed anything at any moment. Definelty would recommend this beautiful place!

My group of 4 really enjoyed our time at Barefoot Gee’s! Linda was very welcoming and accommodating! The fire pit was ready for our first fire, the tent pad was set up nicely, and all of the campsites are secluded and private in the trees. The animals were a perk - the dogs and goats stopped in for short visits at the campsite, and the whole experience was a restful retreat. We also took a short walk to Lone Star Lake and admired the April wildflowers! Truly a lovely experience!

We loved our stay here for the total solar eclipse! We cut it short due to a storm coming in and wanted to avoid packing up in the rain, but wish we could’ve stayed longer. Mrs Linda and her husband were very kind and we loved the camp dog Andy. He is very well mannered and frequently came hang out to keep up company. And the goats were so funny! Sites were clean and nicely shaded, there was plenty of space between each for privacy, and the toilet/outhouse was very tidy. The lake is very close and a boat launch is just a minute away. Would highly recommend, and would stay again!

It was exactly as described. We enjoyed not being at a public campground with lots of people. The only thing we didn’t love is all the roosters but we knew they were there before we booked. Our kids love feeding the chickens and goats. Andy the camp dog was great and we enjoyed having him around.

This place was fantastic! Everything about it was perfect for us. The host Linda was amazing and great with the kids. Andy (the campground dog) was friendly and wonderful to have around. We brought our own dog (Whiskey) a Siberian Husky, who is timid around others dogs and him and Andy really hit it off. We loved getting up with the roosters and going to sleep to the sounds of nature. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you for providing such an incredible and safe space to take my kids (and myself) camping for the first time.
If you want to be close enough to get or do things but want to feel far away from it all, this place is perfect for you!

5 out of 5 ⭐️s! My friends and I spent two nights on Linda’s land and we had a blast. Beautiful location surrounded by trees during the day and stars at night.
Pros:
1. The space was private, spacious and secure.
2. Linda was an amazing host and helped us with various supplies during our stay.
3. My pup played with Linda’s pup all weekend. So it was a win-win for all of us.
3. Good choice of activities to do on the land. We fed farm animals, jumped on the trampoline, walked along the land, and watched the stars.
Cons:
1. None really! Just make sure to bring extra blankets since it gets cold.
2. You’re outside so bring bug spray!
Her space was perfect for our group of 5 and we can’t wait to go back.

I stayed for a day on Linda's land, She offers quite a few useful camping ammenities and fun activities on her land. The scenery was quite peaceful and pretty, Andy, the Campground Dog was wonderful company, He even took me for a walk and showed me some cool sites. Periodically through out the night I heard him come down to my camp site and check on me.

It was my first independent camping experience, and I can tell you with much confidence that it was such an amazing experience. Linda was an amazing host and so sweet. Her goats and two dogs will never fail to put a smile on your face! I am so glad I chose her campsite as my first. The scenery was beautiful and the sites she offered us to stay at were all unique in their own way. The forest is great for walking around and having small little adventures to take in the scenery. There is plenty of wildlife for anyone to explore, I’m so glad I chose this campsite.

I loved car camping at Linda’s property. She’s a very sweet and knowledgeable individual. She helped out my partner and I with our campfire since we are new to making fires. Andy, the camp’s German Shepherd, is the sweetest puppy ever. He stayed by our side during our entire stay! I felt safe having him at camp. The goats were too smart for their own good and would escape when we would drive out the gates on the property. Linda was very responsive when we called her so she can wrangle them back in. With the autumn leaves and the cold air this was a very relaxing trip.

Quiet & secluded campsite, well kept & clean... Linda was a great host! Very friendly and super accommodating & responsive. I'd highly recommend this campsite to others, and it's just 10 mins from Dangerfield state park.

Linda was a kind and gracious host. I stayed one night on a long road trip. Linda was communicative and made it easy. The grounds are great and have a few private setups with chairs and a fire circle and space to walk around and explore. It was also really nice to have Andy (the dog) along for the night, he kept me company and hung out by the fire.

Linda was an incredible host to say the least, felt like we made a new friend! The land was beautiful, lots of trees and space. We loved waking up to the roosters on her property and our boys loved Andy the dog (he hung out with us the whole time we were there, he's an awesome dog, super chill) and the goats. We look forward to coming back and visiting. Thanks again for everything Linda!

My son and I had to cancel our trip last minute because he got sick, but Linda was a pleasure to deal with before and after and she graciously refunded our trip despite the last minute cancellation. We look forward to booking with her in the future.

i loved camping on miss linda’s land. covered with trees and the goats and the dog andy made the experience so special but we really enjoyed it out in the outdoors! i’d most definitely recommend. i can’t wait to come back actually:)

Love the homey feel of this place. The host is amazing and goes out of her way to please. Very small secluded private and unique. The answer maps that run around the campsites are a lot of fun. Goats and a wonderful German Shepard I wanted to kidnap. We were stuck in a bad situation and the host and feel of this place made it better.

Great little campsite. Owner was very accommodating and friendly. I love their dog Andy. Very sociable and friendly dog that helped guide my blind dog around and even protected him from the goats that tried to head butt my dog lol. Roosters will wake you up at 4am so be prepared to sleep and wake early.

Linda is the perfect host! Her land makes you feel part of the nature. we picked the campsite next to the streams and when the sun went down all the sounds of wildlife came out.
made a forever friend with her dog Andy who slept with us at the campsite and made sure no critters would get us lol. very friendly dog. Linda’s goat Porter would also hang out with us at the campsite and is very behaved. i would recommend for sure if you have kids to experience this piece of paradise.
Also got to feed a baby goat and OMG had fresh farmed eggs delivered to our camp site in the morning a perfect present to wake up to.
we had so much fun exploring and walking her property with Andy always wanting us to throw a stick for him to catch. so will be coming back it was so fun.

Linda was such a gracious host! Super chill and a really nice person. Her place is set on 10 wooded acres with lots of room and privacy. It even has a little creek. My wife and I loved it and our dogs loved it even more. They made a new best friend with Andy her pupper that lives there. This is a great place to be in nature and unwind, highly recommend!

Linda was very friendly and easy to communicate with, and the property is gorgeous and very peaceful! Extra perks include Andy the dog who temporarily became our tour guide and camp dog, and random friendly goats wandering around the campsites. We loved it!
