Friendly and welcoming. Nice showers, laundry facilities, bathrooms and common kitchen area. Owners were friendly and welcoming and even offered to help us with some of our travel trailer issues that popped up.

A great little RV park. Dirt road in is a little rough, and no store, but great hookups and quiet. Wendy is a great host, and even have me ice out of her refrigerator when we ran out! I'd definitely stop there agian

I have nothing but positive things to say about Wendy and Kevin. They are super nice people and came by as I was getting checked in to make sure I got settled. When I accidentally left something at my site, Wendy reached out to me and we were able to get my items back to me. I am looking forward to my next trip to the area and will definitely be staying there again. The facilities clean and well kept. The grounds were beautiful. I arrived in the dark and it was nice to make up to the rolling, tree-covered hills.

I loved tent camping at Alexander Creek! The sky was so clear and the star gazing conditions were perfect! The bathrooms and showers weren’t too far away and were very clean.

Wonderful camping spot near Hamilton. Showers and bathrooms were very clean. There’s even an indoor area to cook and relax. We were very happy here especially since it was so hot out. The tent sites were very leveled and clean. It had a picnic table and a fire pit and grill. Wendy was also a great hosts. I would recommend this place.

The site was in a great location! Very convenient to hwy 36 and the amenities in Hamilton. The campsite was peaceful and well maintained. Lots of room, great hook ups and WiFi. Bathrooms, showers and common areas were clean and spacious! There’s a full kitchen-even a keurig and pods-along with ac, which was great! Free laundry facilities was also a great perk! Wendy was very friendly and easy to communicate with too, We’ll definitely visit again if we’re in the area!

Secluded Primitive Tent Camping
Firstly, Wendy, Kevin, and their family were so kind and accommodating! The campground did have amenities that included very clean bathrooms and showers. Those facilities were a little further from the tent camping than some might prefer, especially if using them after dark. There was building material debri around the area that our 2 year old wanted to explore so we weren't able to let her play much even though there was some open area.
The listing mentioned the camp area being alluvial soil so we expected dirt tent pads but they were actually mostly pea gravel. They were pretty comfortable with padding. The provided picnic tables, fire pit, water, bug spray and torches were all nice additions though we did not utilize them since we did not spend much time at camp while awake.
Our two main issues were outside of the host's control but would have been deciding factors in our choice of site. Camping with a toddler isn't always easy and noise at night was an issue. Road traffic is VERY loud. We ended up leaving camp early after 2 nights of being bitten by ants through the night. They were so tiny they came through the tent netting.
We will definitely check to see what improvements they make as they grow. We would recommend giving a little more space between sites as we are sure our daughter struggling to sleep affected the 2nd campsite.

The tent sites are really nice and quiet. We visited for a gravel race in Hico and it was perfect as the home base. The showers and community house were great as well. The host was very accomodating, responsive and friendly.

Alexander Creek RV park is a quiet place to stay. The roaming cattle were a refreshing taste of country living. There is a nicely done club house with clean bathrooms and showers. Currently there is not a fire pit or grill at each site but Wendy was quickly accommodating with bringing a grill over for my use. I would stay here again if my travels bring me back this way.

This campsite was great amongst the trees. Loved the roaming livestock farm a neighboring ranch, making even more fun. Wendy greeted us just as we had just pulled into the spot making sure all was okay. Close to Glen Rose and Hico, both places we visited for golf and friends. Nice to come back to a quiet spot.

Wonderful place, sweet people and friendly atmosphere. Easy to park, bathrooms were amazing and clean. The showers were hot and great flow with privacy and very clean. Will certainly go again and you should too!

What we like was the peacefulness at this campground. Also there is a washer and dryer if needed. We wished we had another day or two but had a destination locked in. We will be back when returning to TX! Thank you for your hospitality!!

I must admit that Wendy and Kevin are very accommodating hosts. Upon arrival we were given a personal tour of their facilities and what a pleasant surprise when they stopped by site daily to see if we needed anything. Their RV Park is new and continues to be developed in what I can foresee in the near future as a premium place to camp.

Alexander Creek RV is a brand new RV park located off of Hwy 34 in Hamilton Texas. It has nice fhu sites with good room between them. There is a community building with bathrooms, showers, a full kitchen, a lounging area and a comfortable porch for enjoying the afternoon breezes. Wendy and Kevin were gracious hosts.
