Roper encouraged his family of sixth-generation Texans to share the beauty of this extraordinary place with others; and so it was love of this man and love of the land that inspired 4R Ranch Vineyards & Winery. Chinquapin oaks, white-tailed deer, the endangered black-capped vireo, and the occasional Rio Grande turkey inhabit this incredible property. A North Texas Gem

4R is absolutely beautiful land that pairs the feeling of relaxed isolation with convenience. Well manicured campsites are surrounded by natural growth that really makes it feel like you are well away from anyone and anything. By thoughtfully adding their bathhouse away from camp you are able to keep that feeling of isolation, without having to rough it too much. Last but certainly not least, their tasting room just up the hill from camp was incredible. I dropped off the family to enjoy it while I got camp set up and they loved it. Our biggest complaint is that we had to go home, but we can't wait to come back!

RV SITE #1

We loved our stay at 4R Ranch. It was easy to find, nice and private, and the weather was perfect! Only downside was the showers had wasps :( BUT it was a gorgeous location and we would definitely recommend it. We didn’t get the chance to try the winery but if we come back in town we definitely will!

Nice site. Was quiet when we camped there on our way out to NM. The winery was awesome and well worth the visit on its own. Slept well at the camp site.

West-of-Creek Dispersed Campsite

Summercampout

This sight is a campers dream! It's removed from the other campsites, so it's very quiet. It's a large area and lots of shade from pecan trees. There are 2 large fire pits, and the fact that wood is provided makes it that much more amazing. I will be back when it cools down more.
