Very busy campground. Campsite was where every car or RV entering or leaving passed by. I was asked to take down my hammock so no afternoon naps for me disappointing.

Raccoon Mountain is up a gently-winding hill above a lovely golf-course community. The campground is well-maintained. Some shady, some sunny sites. We had a shady spot near the camp office & were very happy there! While feeling far away from city life, it is just a few miles from Chattanooga with so much to do. Great place for dogs & children.

Very comfortable. Only negative is the amount of street lights that dampen the fireside mood. However, it makes for a safe environment and staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I will stay again. Thank you!

Raccoon Mountain Caverns has easy access from I-24 and is situated in a quiet valley with a stunning view of Lookout Mountain. Check-in was quick and the facilities were neat and clean. The RV sites are well-maintained and spacious. Will definitely visit again!

Quiet cabin in a field. Very close to a playground; kids had a blast gem mining and the cave tour was great! Cabin was clean with most of the supplies we needed for cooking. Would come back again.

The tent site with water and electric was perfect. The staff was great and facilities were nice. My son loved the camp cats that would come up to us regularly. The ability to do the cave tour was great and will be coming back to do the wild tour. Highly recommend.

Everyone was very helpful. The showers and bathrooms were clean. I got a chance to do some laundry as well. If you have a chance to do the cave tour, I would recommend it.

The cabin and campground were lovely. Very peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed our stay. It was very convenient to have our own bathroom.

Everyone we came across was genuinely nice and hospitable. Unlike most camp sites they have a valet that will escort you to your site and make sure you have everything you need which is a really nice touch. Multiple times a day they drive past in a golf cart and pick up trash for you. There is a nice in ground pool and playground.

The campground was clean and well maintained. The vibe was pretty chill and lots of kids running around. 2 playgrounds, a pool. 2 bath houses (code access). The office had ice cream and other things you can buy. The campground cats were friendly

Raccoon mountain is fun! It seems to mostly be an RV community but the tent site I stayed in was lovely. They staff the front office past 5 pm and sell fire wood by phone and they’ll deliver to your site. Really nice people! The cave is also cool. Lots of cute cats that the staff take care of, and bathhouses are well maintained, clean, and dry. Easy drive to Chattanooga too!

Safari Glamping Tent (Deers Meadow)
The tent was very clean & spacious. Beds were fairly comfortable. The bathrooms & facilities were very clean & kept warm. We were right by the playground which was perfect for the kids, and the bathroom was close too. While the tent did have a heating/cooling unit, I’d suggest bringing extra blankets & at least 1 space heater for cold nights. We were able to keep the tent a comfortable temperature with the help of our space heater, but without it we would’ve been pretty cold overnight.

What an amazing experience!! I’ve never had the experience of “glamping” before. But let me tell you, this place couldn’t have been more clean friendly and helpful!
