Amazing camp site. Really nice having running water and power, plus we were not expecting a grill with propane to be there which also allowed us to leave a few cooking items unpacked. BEAUTIFUL scenery, views and the site could not be better situated for sunsets. Easy to find and very private. Great for dogs. Will definitely be returning.

Never have I seen a more beautiful sky! This property was stunning. Very secluded and peaceful. Gate at driveway was nice. I have never seen my pups happier. Plenty of places to explore. Top notch.

Pastoral farmland isn't typically my go to for camping, but I was looking for a spot that offered a dose of nature while having enough connectivity to allow me to work remotely and this spot fit the bill! Cell service was not really strong but was adequate, and the spot had clear skies which allowed me to use starlink for faster speeds.
The property is nice and the directions were good. We had no issues finding or accessing the property.
The spot is farm land with a beautiful mountain backdrop. Gorgeous sunsets and peaceful days. The site listing mentions trails. If they exist, I didn't find them but the driveway is long enough to make for an enjoyable evening or morning stroll down and back. Wildflowers, honeysuckles and fragrant evergreens surround the property edges and make the stroll more pleasant.
The property is well maintained and had everything we needed.
Located a short driving distance to other scenic areas like the paint creek corridor and jones meadow. We also enjoyed driving around the immediate area which is very picturesque farm country.
A few things to be aware of - the parking pad was not very level, bring leveling blocks if you are not in a tent. Its on the edge of working farm and an equestrian facility. There are farmers doing farmer things and equestrians doing equestrian things. These were not disruptive to our stay in any way, but campers should know these are possibilities.

This was my 2nd booking with Adam at this site. We returned for our 2nd trip; as we were road-tripping across the country.I contacted Adam directly about the site avails and he was very responsive.Upon arrival, the driveway to the campsite is now marked with Hipcamp signs.The land has had improvements to the driveway, as this is all now gravel and sides of the driveway are now fixed with rock/drainage.We were pulling a 15 foot camper with a rear-wheel drive Sprinter Van and did not have any issues driving up the hill.Once the camper was set up; electric/water hook up on the gravel pad at the top of the hill; we were able to use the full-size propane bbq to cook up some fresh local steaks, as we took in the views and the perfect sunset.The 2 dogs had an absolute blast being able to run freely and play.Hung out under the stars after dinner to star-gaze.Was able to sleep peacefully with our camper AC on, without the noise of our generator or any other campers next to us.The privacy and electric/water hookup is unbeatable!Woke up to a clear morning to make some breakfast and sip coffee while doing a little computer work from the picnic table before we packed up/headed out. AT&T, Verizon and TMobile all have service. There is a metal firepit for use, BYOW.Closest place to purchase wood is 10-15 min away, on the Ashville Hwy.This is a bring in/out site w/o facilities, so have garbage bags and personal waste bags. All in all, a great stay.Will definitely come back for a third time.

This is an absolutely beautiful and totally private campground. It has water hook up that you can access even if you don’t have an RV. Has a beautiful views of a little pond and rolling hills. There’s both flat land and slightly sloped land, multiple places to put your tent. Plenty of space for parking.
Unfortunately, our dog got sprayed by a skunk. I reached out to the host, and he immediately had a neighbor come over and help us. They brought us a hose and some dish soap. Very kind people, very accommodating host. We would go back even after our dog got hosed by a skunk! Mostly our dog’s fault, I don’t think they have crazy skunks or anything.

We loved everything about this spot! It was easy to get our camper to, the gravel rd up to it was it really good shape! Our dogs had a great time exploring the woods on the property. It was very peaceful and private. We plan on returning again!

Beautiful, quiet location! Loved our stay there! Both power and water are now right beside the site by the picnic table.
Road is a little bumpy coming in. New gravel has been put down so traction not an issue whatsoever. The only potential challenge would be turning around. Requires putting the trailer on the grass. Could be a possible traction issue for a 2wd if wet. When dry, not an issue.

The site was incredible. The views were just as described in the posting. The hookups were easy to locate and the site was well kept. We would definitely stay here again and was our favorite spot on our 4 stop trip from NC to IN.

A lovely view. Quiet and nature abounding. I want to just say that in my opinion, some of the reviews I read that mention a bit of negative things like not knowing where the electric outlet was and stuff, don’t seem worth the trouble of putting into a review. It did take me a minute to figure that out because it was a little down from the flat slab where you park, on the wooden free standing thing with the meter, but it didn’t matter at all. It was a great place! A good price, woke up to deer outside the window. Coyotes ran by at night late after we were all snug and that was fun to hear. The frogs are a beautiful symphony. The horses are beautiful. It was super quiet. And, we got to see the beautiful stars of the country life at night.

Truly unique spot with amazing views. Private and quiet. The spot is surrounded by horse pastures and upper class houses. Very beautiful. Electric hookups worked well. There was a grill and fire pit, plus a pic nic table. On top of that, the cell reception was extremely strong! Bonus!
Had to be careful getting up the hill due to the erosion on both sides of the driveway, but was not a problem for me and worth the effort. Someone with an extra wide camper may have difficulty. Didn't need to engage 4WD, just took it slow.
Would definitely recommend this place. And would definitely return.

Beautiful Views, Tricky Spot

Appreciate the stayover, as we have been searching for our forever home along the TN mountains. Absolutely stunning views of the surrounding mountain range, the farms in the valley, including the vast swath of soy beans, just <15 yards away once you get to the top of the hill. This property also borders an Equestrian Center.
For improvement would ask that the owner (Adam) provide better communication ahead of time, so guests aren't left guessing at things. We were initially confused about where precisely to park the trailer. First, it wasn't clear where the actual 30amp power pole was, as there are multiple pole structures and it was slightly hidden by a grill. Further, the slightly lower graveled area at the top is not level and is not really a pull through. We ended up parked on the slightly higher graveled area bc it was more level, but getting there was a bit of a challenge because of limited space to maneuver around with the field of soy beans field to the right and tall grass to the left. Would not recommend this camping spot for any trailer over 20 feet with the current setup. Also you should have a 4x4 to ensure good traction, particularly when wet, as some of the sides of the gravel drive are washed out and the path can become quite muddy. My tires became compacted with mud and gravel, which caused me to get a flat on one of my tires on the way home. Lastly, let folks know where to take trash afterwards to make it easier to leave no trace. Thanks!

This is a great place to camp ,
Trailer or Tent .
Spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, you can see at least 60 miles. So beautiful words cannot express. Not only the landscape or the animals deer turkey the American bald eagle just breathtaking. I do believe that the campsite is at about 1300 feet. It was nice that the campsite had electric for my camper, there is no water but we did bring her own. And a bbq grille , picnic table and a fir pit . Plenty of room to set up .
Plenty of room to get in and turn around to get out .
Just a beautiful spot . We will definitely be going back !!
