We had a nice stay. But, after 3 days of solid rain, we decided to cut our trip short and head home. There was water, electric, and WiFi available. There also was an outside shower, with hot and cold water, which worked well when it wasn’t raining. We only used it once. The day we used it, it was chilly and windy and the wind blew through the wood slats….brrrrr!
There is no outhouse or toilet available. You are able to use the outside sewer to dump. Steve was very good about communicating with us. However, we never met him in person. Overall, we had a nice experience.

Great little spot. Steve was very responsive to any and all needs. Super friendly guy. We were parked in a big field. It was peaceful with just a little road noise. Nothing bothersome. The outdoor shower had broke and Steve was on it! Great price too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Summerville Tents. Steve was a gracious host and communication was easy. We were able to hook up to power and WiFi which was an extra bonus. Unfortunately the weather was stormy while there so we did not get to enjoy the birdwatching and relax outside as much as we’d hoped to but we still were able to catch sight of an eagle and some bluebirds. We will definitely be back again. Thanks for a wonderful experience Steve.

We loved the beautiful live oaks and birdwatching. Steve was a great host and Tony, who also stays on the property, was very helpful to us. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t fabulous during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy being outside as much as we would have liked, but that is out of anyone’s control. We stayed under the oaks and were able to hook up to power for electricity. It was a very convenient location for us and we will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit Summerville.

Steve’s land is very convenient to everywhere I needed to go. It is not out in the country. There is traffic noise, but what I needed was proximity to Charleston and certain stores, and a central location to base myself. Steve had trouble connecting me to the advertised internet, but came through and comped me an extra night gratis. When I’m in the Charleston area again, and I plan to return soon, I hope this spot will be available.

Steve was incredibly hospitable. The site was perfect for us. Having access to power and water truly made our stay comfortable. Our pup loved the fenced in yard. The eagle nest and hawks circling every morning were quite a treat.

Spacious property and very conveniently located. Steve was very responsive and our stay was comfortable. We plan to be back next year to visit family and will definitely stay here again!

Summerville, South Carolina is a lovely town to visit. So historic and great food venues. Steve is a welcoming host. Very attentive to anything I might have needed. There is water and electric 110 available which was a pleasant surprise. I camped under the oaks which kept the hot sun off my van. I felt very safe. It is Surrounded by fencing. There are three semi permanent residents Who are friendly, but not intrusive. At night, I heard two owls hooting at each other . One day geese arrived to forage. There are itty bitty frogs that bounce around. All around lovely site. If you go to Somerville, be sure to stop at the history Museum. Great detail of the area. Then there is the public work arts, which was a fun couple of hours. I plan to go back, especially at the holiday time and see what is going on

I loved the property and had a very much needed r&r. The location is secluded but yet close to everything you need! Steve was very welcoming and friendly. Also Connie and Dave are amazing as well, felt like family. Thank you all!
